As always we had a great time in this lgbt friendly cafe bar. Friendly chatty staff fun atmosphere (there's often a drag act on or dj) and most of the prices are cheaper than weatherspoons.

We meet here on a Friday lunch time every week and have done for a few months now. It’s friendly and has a lovely atmosphere. Carl and his staff are always accommodating. They even prepared a lovely Christmas dinner for six of us after work and it was amazing. We had two courses each which was very reasonably priced at just under £10. Starters were lovely and the Christmas turkey dinner was amazing all fresh made and for the grand finale we had Christmas pudding with brandy sauce which was lovely. We were surprised with a lovely table layout with crackers, name tags and prosecco.

This place is an absolute dive. It stinks, the decor is appalling and lacks any warmth or trendiness - in fact it’s just a hole! The Carling smells and tastes rank and there is nothing to recommend this place for. Avoid

I just took my daughter out for a sunday roast dinner at Saville Row Café bar Hull . And I must say its the best roast dinner ive had ( eating out ) for years and at £6.95 its great value for money . It was cooked to perfection by Stephen Corke . I shall be definitely going back again and will take my mam next time . Great relaxed atmosphere and polite friendly staff I recommend this place to everyone Fantastic !

Been to this place many time and made some good friends. The food is great. Especially Sunday lunch. One of the cheapest places I know for beer, yet does not bring in the local rif-raf,which is a good thing. There are local regular customers who always offer a warm welcome and makes you feel very welcome. Highly recommended if you want to make friends and chill out. This is also the only place I know which offers free pool. Cabaret nights are also a great evening, usually on till after midnight with no entry fee. Great quiz night with lots of fun. All in all, this is a great establishment. A**

Everywhere has teething problems.I went in on a chilled Sunday night to find quite a few in and apart from fair priced drinks there was a congenial atmosphere. The place was very clean with good toilet facilities and all in all I'd definitely return.

Been in here three times and each time I think it might improve. It doesn't! On the first visit the female member of staff spent most of the time on her phone. The subsequent visits were equally unsatisfactory and the food not brilliant. I feel this could be a really nice place but it needs a definite improvement in its staff and attitudes.

This establishment use to be a fairly good place to go. I believe it is now under new management. I recently went in with friends. It has changed a lot. It looks more like a social club rather than a trendy café bar. The bar staff where ok but generally inside was a bit dirty in parts and the décor a bit shabby now.

Had a breakfast here, many issues with this place and the good but here are just some: - food took ages to arrive - staff don't write down where you're sitting so was stood outside shouting "two breakfasts" for ages before she brought them in saying "are these yours??" - grilled tomato was changed to tinned tomato - the juice of which was all over the plate!!!! - cheap bacon that was full of fat - cheap sausages that had some strange tasting herb (?) in it - toast was stone cold and hard - only enough butter for one slice of toast - we had 4 between us!!! - one knife and three forks given to us - no sauces anywhere - salt and pepper only on a few tables and you had to find them yourself - cup of tea nearly cold and given with brown sugar The list goes on and on!!! Horrendous place!!!!!

My sole visit to this cafe bar was incredibly surreal. A friend and I visited during 'happy hour' on a Friday towards the end of March 2014, and found the establishment reasonably quiet - a few drinkers standing at the bar, two being served, several staff members generally buzzing around. I'm unsure if the Savile Row Cafe Bar has a unique attitude to bar service. All I can say is, my friend and I (quite boring, average-looking people - certainly not offensive, or too short to be seen over the bar) stood at the bar, as you would in any other pub, and the staff just didn't seem to notice. One carried on the inane conversation he was having with two patrons at the bar, and the others just continued to clean/wander around. Nobody seemed especially busy, but apparently the part of the bar I stood at (quite central, in front of the Coors Light tap) is shrouded with an invisibility cloak or something. Patient anticipation of alcoholic beverage turned into mild irritation, closely followed by silent, British despair. After several minutes we walked out, which drew a puzzled look from one of the staff who was cleaning tables (hurrah, someone saw us). I expect it was the fault of a single ignorant barman (perhaps the other staff assumed he was serving us), but the whole experience was just quite bizarre. It's unlikely I'll return, unless I want a really cheap night out without buying any drinks.

My Daughter had her 16th birthday party at Saville Row Cafe Bar and we all had a fantastic night. Special thanks to the bar staff who engaged with our guest to make everyone feel welcome. All our guest have commented @ What a great place to have a private party. Food provided was really nice and catered for the younger crowd we had in that night.

Para mí, lo más importante para experimentar cosas desde un lugar incluyen limpieza, acogedor, atento y educado personal, buen servicio y un buen ambiente. Por desgracia Saville Row Cafe Bar le faltaba todos estos principios básicos.

The food was truely the worst i have ever had to pay for. dirty glasses (i dont mean a few marks around the rim). A real shame because with the right management it could be a gem in the hu1 region as clearly, alot of money has been spent on the interior.

After running the Hull 10K my wife & I popped into the cafe as we did last year. We only ordered 2 coffees & a round of toast with butter & jam. The coffees were served but the toast failed to make an appearance. My wife had almost finished her coffee when she went to ask about the toast. The toast was sat in a dumb waiter and she was told by the guy serving that he was on his own & he couldn't do everything. Anyway my wife brought the toast to our table minus the jam & a knife. What seemed liked an eternity later I decided that this service was down right despicable & so went inside to demand a refund. The guy moaned that he was on his own and that he had phoned for the jam, how bizarre I thought! I was told by the guy that the cafe is not normally open on a Sunday & that people should be more patient!!! I believe in patience is a virtue but this is taking things to an extreme. Anyway, I gladly received my refund & have decided that next year we'll visit a Costa or Starbucks!

Saville Row cafe bar is very nice inside with lovely moderm decor but that's about as far as it goes.Food very average indeed and if you order a sandwich that is all you get, no nice side salad, coleslaw or crisps. I asked for salad cream and got a blunt " that's extra 30p you know!!". You get one sugar with a hot drink and daggers from the staff if you ask for more. Everything is done on a shoe string in my opinion and the staff are quite rude The menu is very plain indeed with no attempt to push the boat out in any way and the dishes have stupid names. The owners need to go to McCoys or RJs to see how good lunchtime food is served in a warm and inviting atmosphere with a varied menu.Would I return: - unlikely and given how quiet the place was on a lunchtime I doubt they will trade much longer which is a shame as its a prime location near shops, BBC and council offices

Coming across this cafe in the centre of Hull today, we thought we'd give it a try to show our support for local business. We'd intended to only have a drink but on seeing the menu, the prices and the other customers food, we decided to eat. The food was brought very promptly and was tasty. Service was ve friendly and we'll definitely return.

I have visited this place on numerous occasions and have always come away feeling happy with my visit, weather it being a quick pit stop for a cappuccino or a bite to eat. I think the menu is average and standard, but I prefer this as I am not very adventrous to be honest. (I hate tomatoes, mushrooms and onions!!)The staff have always been helpful espically when I am visiting the cafe bar with work.

Visited fir an early lunch we ordered the omelette and a burger! Omelette was grey looking slapped on a plate without any presentation or much egg to be honest. a burger was paper thin and cheap, and had to pay for a tomato sauce...the place looks nice and inviting but if the food is not brought upto standard i can't imagine it will last.

I have regularly eaten and drank in this gem of a cafe bar in Hull's city centre. Menu of small bite's and snack type food served perfectly, accompany a great range of drinks. The food is always served HOT and they present it with a smile.Prices are also very keen, with nothing on the menu costing more than £5, a fantastic recession beater for the tough times... That's why I feel the place is suitable for all. 5-7pm daily also offers drinks for £2..... The selection you can have this offer is superb and unrivalled in the city centre (cool places of course). Thanks to the staff and owners for always offer a smile.I'll be back.

Went here for a late lunch. Only three other people in. Looked smart enough. Took a seat and viewed the very limited menu. Expecting one of several staff to come and take an order was asking too much. 'when you're ready, order at the bar' I was told. I chose a burger, which I refuse to believe was a 1/4 pounder. The burger was clearly very cheap, obviously from a packet of cheap frozen burgers and served in a dry bread cake along side a very poor excuse of a salad with dried up beet root which looked totally un appealing.

me and my wife went to saville row for a party very recently and the food was fantastic... for a buffet.3 or choices of fresh sandwiches, loads of pies, nibbles etc. and far 2 much for the number of guests.. the nice little touches were the small individual cheesecake and cake selections plus taking me back to my youth they had penny sweets on the bar... what a great touch!!Vicky and Lance, the owners are very pleasant and we were even introduced to their children, this is a really friendly family concern and a breath of fresh air in hull, passed a few times lunchtimes and plenty of footfall inside, plus between 5pm and 7pm. all drinks are £2, cant go wrong. I will definitely going back.

What a shame. This place is clearly run down. Hygiene and housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Food - edible but disappointing and certainly not as the pictures in the menu promise. We've been coming here for 15 years but this was the last time. A sign of this times i guess. This place needs serious investment to bring it to its former glory.

From the moment I walked in with my 5 month old baby, Emme welcomed me. I sat down and fed my baby whilst I waited for friends to come and Emme went out her way to come to my table to take my drinks order and bring the card machine to me as I was feeding my baby. She was very smiley, friendly and checked how our food was when it came. Thank you Emme for your lovely service!
