This place has got a lot better! I visited a couple of years ago and was quite disappointed but today was excellent. Beautiful paninis followed by the chocolate fondue to share between 3 of us which was to die for. Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful and all in such a pretty setting. Will definitely come back.

We went for the chocolate making experience. I thought we were going to have fun learning how to make chocolate, instead we had to endure 2 & 1/2 hour lecture on how fabulous their chocolate is and their adventures on learning how to harvest the beans. We should have been advised to wear something warm as it was freezing in the kitchen. I appreciate it was for the sake of the chocolate, but it wasn’t a very pleasant experience. The actual chocolate making session was good and the end result really great, but we could have done the session in an hour. I appreciate people being passionate about their art etc however you are charging people for a Chocolate making session not a lecture. I will not be recommending this to family and friends.

Went after a recommendation to take family for a chocolate treat. We had a vegan with us so we were pleased they had a vegan menu. We all shared chocolate fondues, one vegan which came with dark chocolate and a selection of fruit, one dark chocolate which had with amaretti and ginger biscuits plus fruit and a milk chocolate with marshmallows, nougat, doughnuts, amaretti biscuits. All were plentiful and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient.

A friend phoned me recently and, knowing that I am a coffee/tea/cake person, mentioned that he had visited Sarsfield's and was impressed. As a consequence I visited Sarsfield's and was also impressed. It is rather off the beaten track, but once you locate it, there is easy parking. The cafe has a very attractive ambience with comfortable seating and, most importantly, the tea and cakes were excellent.

Having received a gift voucher for the 4 hour chocolate making workshop from my partner was a great gift. A friend and I enjoyed learning from Jerome: practical chocolate making skills, tasting differences in chocolate varieties, a bit of chocolate geography and history… all of it really fascinating and fun! Lunch and snacks, coffee and hot chocolates are delicious at Sarsfield’s- my partner comes regularly with his various friends, and I’m lucky enough to get chocolate treats brought back home for me when he’s been out. Definitely worth a visit and if you want to try something new, a chocolate making workshop is a great thing to have on your bucket list! Enjoy!

Wow, this place is amazing! Four of us went to celebrate an 18th birthday, the staff we really nice, and the chocolate is out of this world. I've never drunk a hot chocolate as good as this. I had waffles with bacon and chocolate, the salty sweet taste sensation was awesome. I really recommend visiting here. If you do come, you have to have the hot chocolate, it is so silky smooth, beautiful!

I had lunch with my mother here on a very windy Tuesday in September. We ordered the quiche with a drinks. This was the best quiche I can remember eating. Very tasty, a delight. I can also recommend the cakes (eat in or takeaway) some one knows how to bake. And not to be forgotten the chocolates are some of the best, dark and milk chocolate. I am not normally a milk chocolate fan but these have won me over.

Lovely surroundings. Had a cup of hot chocolate (milk chocolate)…. wow, just wow. Went for the ‘extra shot’ of chocolate and well worth it. Others went for the dark chocolate drink and loved theirs. Will certainly be back!

I have to say, I am appalled at the customer service we received today. The establishment itself is delightful and the food, coffee (exceptional!) and chocolate to match. But… When you feel utterly disgusted by the way a staff member talks to you and treats you, it takes all the positives away from the visit. She walked off whilst we were still trying to order some drinks (she didn’t ask if we wanted anything else) so I was trying to ask her for a drink and she then began to rant that I was too busy looking at my phone (I was actually looking at their speciality coffee online as I wanted to order some and was going to enquire with her what the coffee was). She then stomped across to her co-workers where she began to rant about me being on my phone (I can only assume she was embarrassed at the way she had acted and was trying to justify her behaviour). I felt so embarrassed and upset and to top It off, she began to argue with us in-front of the other customers. Very unprofessional and rude. I honestly was shocked by her actions.

Lovely tearoom with great food and the best tasting mocha I've ever had. Decent menu for light bites, didn't have the chance to sample the chocolate but intend to return soon

If, like me, you like your walk to include a cake & coffee stop, then this wonderful tearoom is worth a visit. Four of us stopped here yesterday before a lovely autumnal walk around Hickling & Kinoulton. There is seating inside and out with a relaxing view of the countryside. It’s beautifully decorated, has super-friendly staff and serves tasty coffee (we all had Americano). So many delicious looking homemade cakes made our decision difficult. We opted for chocolate (x2), walnut & coffee, and carrot cake. All of them were yummy and gave us the energy we needed for the 5-mile walk ahead. The complementary hand-made chocolates were amazing and a lovely touch. We’ll definitely head back for the afternoon tea as it looked delicious. The place is a chocolate lovers heaven - and sells great chocolate gifts. There’s no such thing as too much chocolate ... well worth a visit.

Visited with my neice and sister in law on a Sunday afternoon. We had not booked but were welcomed and seated indoors. I would advise booking though as it is only small. We all had the mini afternoon tea. Delicious! Thoroughly recommended and good value for money. You can take well behaved dogs in with you and there is indoor and outdoor seating. I am looking forward to a return visit.

This was the first time we had been. We came across it by accident we were not disappointed. As you came up the drive it has its own plant nursery and there is a lovely flower shop on site. It was well kept, clean and tidy. The main restaurant is a part of the chocolate ire- the home made chocolates that come with the coffee are delicious. From the moment you walk through the door you are met with a spacious and friendly atmosphere. We received a very warm welcome. The food was amazing. I had charcuterie board and my husband had scotch pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The menu was wide and varied chocokate fondue with marshmallows strawberries and mini donuts homemade quiche and salad. Chocolates were available to purchase and the uninterrupted views across the Vale of Belvoir are absolutely breath taking will certainly be back.

In the middle of nowhere is an oasis. Sarsfield’s is light and airy with comfortable inside sitting and also a verandah for use in fine weather. Loos are amazing, clean, well stocked, and more than big enough to cope with wheelchairs or buggies. I had the vegetarian tart of the day which was splendid, accompanied by salad and coleslaw with the dressing separate which I really appreciated. There’s a wide choice of teas and drinks. For after I’d recommend the ice-creams which are really luxurious, but there’s also desserts and amazing cakes. As well as light lunches they do a chocolate tasting experience which looked fun. Accessible cafe and loos. Highly recommended.

Lived in Bingham nearly 5 years and have been in the lion a fair few times to watch football. This is the first time we've been in since it's been done up!!! Got to say that it's brilliant, atmosphere is good with both sides being full, the pool table is in a great position too. We ordered food for the first time too. The foot was excellent pub food and has certainly changed this pub from being just for sport to one where we won't just walk past again !!!! Great, well done on the change !!!!

Good food and drinks. Might be nice if they offer avocado on toast as an option as I would love to have that by way of a change.
