Feels Like Home Every Time We’re regulars at this lovely Kurdish restaurant, and it’s always a great experience. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming perfect for my autistic son and the food is consistently delicious. A special thank you to Mustafa, who does his job exceptionally well. It's okay to eat, but the place is cramped and loud. Prices are moderate. The service is good. The meat is fatty and fatty. Fat had to be removed from the ulna and neck meat. The tikka was burnt, Abu Abha. The tea is light, cold, and tasteless. Little bread with kebab and meat. The chairs are crowded and close together. People crowd behind and in front of you. The workers are nice and running. I don't think I will return to it

The food is nice but actually how the working ladies wear is not appropriate for the atmosphere of the restaurant, some of them put on clothes of nightclub not a restaurant where conservative families come. I do not know if the owner of the restaurant ask them to do that as I have heard of some employers asking their working ladies to do that. Other than that service is good and food is really tasty and portions are generous with a lot of extras offered for free. I hope the owner would read my review and take it seriously. Thanks

A lot of side dishes are provided as standard. The chicken was seasoned well and the lamb chops were delicious! The table next to me was serving boiled meat like gamjatang and it looked delicious too. Tea is also provided at the end. It's full of caffeine. Only cash payment is accepted. I liked it because it was cheap and delicious.

The food was really old and smelled bad. After eating a little, my stomach hurt and I felt sick. Don't go to this restaurant at all because it's not worth wasting your time there. I'm on my way to the hospital.

Nunca falla He sido un habitual por un tiempo. Mi viejo amigo y yo fuimos a la parrilla de iftar mixto para 2 que no pudimos terminar. Tenía un kebab de cordero picado, un kabab de pollo picado, unas alitas, un corazón de cordero, un tikka de cordero, un tikka de pollo, viene con tomates a la parrilla, cebollas a la parrilla y pimiento a la parrilla con verduras frescas, una ensalada، pan recién horneado ilimitado, sopa de lentejas gratis, ensalada quatro gratis : humor, dip de mouskka, jajik (envío de yogur 🥒) y ensalada. Todos vinieron por 35 libras. Nuestras bebidas Ayran eran por 2 libras cada uno. También comimos tés iraquíes gratis. Excelente servicio y locales limpios. Recomiendo para solos, amigos y familias. Adelante.

I used to enjoy this restaurant, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. The soup wasn’t tasty at all, and the grill was disappointing. The lamb chops were actually mutton, not lamb, and they were overcooked and burned. We ordered four stews, but they brought five by mistake and still charged us £4 for each one. It used to be a great place, but sadly, it’s not the same anymore. Definitely not worth it.

To start with, the staff are so friendly - taking their time to explain what each dish was. The food was excellent, really tasty and great value for money. Saw a big queue outside this place, came back later and managed to get a table. They bring out around 4 arabic starter dishes and fresh nan complimentary, the service is truly outstanding and the owner really strives to make customers feel welcome. Portion sizes are quite big too and price very reasonable.

Got take away here on our last night in London. The food was top notch, especially the tender lamb biryani, lentil soup and kofta kebab. The food was ready fast on a busy night and the portions were very generous. Excellent all around!

The best meat I ever had in London. So tender so juicy specially lamb tikka and kofta. Unlimited bread on the house. They also give free lentil soup, hummus and salad. Amazingly quick service . Already been here twice. Very economical as well. And yes tea on the house as well after food.

The hospitality, the generous portions of complimentary soup, bread and dips is definitely something that you don't see in many restaurants. To top it all the lip-smacking large Mixed Grill that just makes the whole experience heavenly, delicious and delightful. Highly recommend this place, but be prepared to wait as they are quite popular and busy.

Great food, quick and attentive service and cost-benefit ratio is amazing. Nowhere in Edgware Rd or Central London can you eat so much for a cheap price. By ordering a main dish - be it alone or as a group - you'll get a soup, fresh bread, salad and some dips. Would definitely recommend.

Food isn't as good as it used to be and the service is TERRIBLE. We had waiters ignore us, rush us 15minutes after recieving our food and we were given the bill whilst still eating. If this is all due to new management it's a huge shame. Will not be returning.

In my humble opinion, Iraqi, Kurdish, and Iranian restaurants deservedly topped the rest of the Arab restaurants in the British capital, London. My experience at Sarganar Restaurant was because I noticed it was always crowded. The meal wins and deserves it. Whatever the order is, it includes lentil soup, eggplant salad, yogurt salad, hummus, and fresh bread. My order was a meat kebab and the taste was very delicious. The staff were very nice and cooperative, and I really enjoyed the experience. The prices are excellent and I recommend visiting it 👌

I’ve been curious about this place for so long as there is always a crowd whenever I see it. And I finally took up the courage and stepped into this surprisingly good restaurant! The portion of food is absolutely shocking to me as I’ve got used to receiving only a small portion almost anywhere in this city… The appetizers are already very filling for me, the bread smells so good, the salad and veggie cold dishes are rather refreshing! The rice of the main dish is one of the best types of rice I’ve ever had! Staff are very friendly to me!

Worse than any restaurant I ever been in my life. Worst experience ever, service is horrible the staff are unbelievably rude. No smile, never heard about kindness or customer servicing. Food is very poor quality and not authentic at all. The kebab tastes like grilled on fire not coal. I asked for tap water the answer was no. I asked for sharing dishes with a friend the answer with no. They have a minimum charge which is new to me in London. I asked to pay with card that’s also no and had to go find a cash machine They could have told us or put a sign that no card payment is accepted.

I’ve been dining in this restaurant for years and I felt today I have to give it a justice , the food is delicious and fresh always, you get free complementary 3 kind of small starters and a soup and bread to start with for free , the price of the main is reasonable the bread is free ,the place is small with an army of staff that makes the service very quick all the staff are nice , you get a free tea as well when u finish your food , only downside is the restaurant not a big restaurant always crowded and sometimes it takes like half a hour to get table especially in the summer . This restaurant is my favourite restaurant nothing beat it .

A very elegant restaurant. As soon as you sit down, there are various types of appetizers: hummus, jajik, eggplant salad, green salad, and Iraqi tarshi with sweet lentil soup. Iraqi kebab is the best kebab and grilled fish in the original Iraqi way. And quzi is meat that melts in the throat and stews, beans and okra. The service is excellent and wonderful, and the atmosphere is wonderful, with Iraqi folklore songs and Iraqi tea. I recommend it. Visit the restaurant and the prices are very reasonable

The best ‘Middle Eastern’ food you will have in London. I usually got it the restaurant opposite, however as I saw this was busier it packed my interest to try some place new. I wasn’t disappointed. The food was so fresh and huge amounts of it. Incredible value for money. The fresh bread along with a lot of small complementary sides added to the excitement of flavours. For 3 people who had to take a doggy bag came to £50
