Sarah Siddons Inn in Powys

Always a great vibe, super friendly/helpful staff. I often go there to watch the sport and they have lots of screens showing different games.

Absolutely amazing 👏, we visited last night to watch the darts (they can show the sky sports in this pub which is an added bonus). It is a local brecon pub which is amazing the staff and locals were all lovely and made the night even more enjoyable. A huge shout out to a loacl Joshua, staff rhys/reese, and shelly who were amazing and made us feel so welcome. Thank you to Joshua for putting the tv sound on when we were a bit shy at first to ask xxx and thank you, shelly and rhys/reese, for being amazing 👏 I highly recommend this place any day of the week 🥳❤️ we will be back in a few weeks and will always come in when we are in the area 😀

What a great pub!!!... At first wasn't sure about the name?...thought it was a cafe or fancy wine bar? But the pub is named after Sarah Siddons the late Georgian Era actress....Enjoyed an afternoon/evening in this lovelly pub. Made to feel soo welcome by the staff and locals. The bar was quite busy but chairs were soon shuffled around for us to sit down. It is dog friendly....Oh and the beer was really good as well...

Bar tender could hardly open his mouth with a greeting or a courtesy.... locals didn't have any time for visitor to "their" pub.

We came here for a few drinks on our weekend trip to brecon. Lovely atmosphere and great prices. Lovely bar staff, so helpful and friendly. We will be back

Staying at the Brecon Beacons caravan and Motorhome club site we popped into Brecon and stopped at the sarah Siddons pub ……WOW how friendly this place is, the landlord and landlady couldn’t of been more welcoming very kind and so were the locals, so on our next trip Wednesday 1st June the landlady put out a massive spread of food for the queens celebration so we thought as we’re not locals we’ll leave them to it , but we’re made to feel so welcome and were told to stay and have some food Whitch was absolutely lovely, would highly recommend the Sarah Siddons pub , top pub , top landlord and landlady and very friendly locals 10/10

After a 5 mile walk... Needed some refreshment, popped in for a pint. Regulars at the front of the pub & barman was hardly the chatty type! Cheap as chips for 2 pints! Small conversation with a couple of regulars & barman did say there was a Disco tonight being a Friday. So, back in alot later & a great night ensured. Excellent staff & a thoroughly enjoyable night...tad loud...but great! Recommended!

Called in as it seemed quite popular,nice atmosphere,cheap drinks,and both the racing and football on the telly's which my husband was more than happy with

This popular pub was a great place with friendly staff, a friendly atmosphere and they had the main sport events on TV. The beer was good and very reasonably priced.

Came here for a drink during a weekend away. Never been spoken to by such a rude barmaid before in my life. Not sure why she had such an attitude with us, after all we only wanted a drink!

So that's about it. Cheap beer and friendly staff. Actually the local old boy by the door was very funny and engaging with all of us and we felt welcome. Only downside - turn the music down please? We asked a couple of times and it does hinder conversation.

We were recommended the Sarah Siddons while having a drink at the King George (another fine establishment by the way.). In amongst a whole heap of gents in white collar shirts and ties, and being 5pm on a Friday I mistook them for local office workers (I was thinking real estate). Turns out it was a wake for a local (of natural causes and a fine long life) and was purchased a drink in his honour. Which meant I had to return one which meant rolling home at one in the morning after a fantastic evening, albeit for a sombre reason. Great little pub, great service for the whole evening and met a heap of wonderful Irish, English and even Welshmen in the delightful Sarah Siddons pub.

Recently visied during Jazz Festival. Foudn the atmosphere and staff very good. Music was also well presented and enjoyable

Visited on Friday night and encountered the rudest barmaid I have ever come across. Gruff, rude and openly laughing at us! Completely unrepentive when questioned. Avoid this place.

Great time spent here fun lively atmos good music playing good people there, litlle small for a large event like the rugby or something of that nature but oh the whole a good place to relax with a few drinks and good friends

Nada demasiado especial aparte de los que beber dentro y el personal.El pub está impregnada de recuerdos para muchos soldados que han sido mediante la capacitación de más de 40 años.Así que cuando usted visita se encontrará con un personal educado y cortés y gente disfrutar viendo cualquiera de los deportes en la televisión o simplemente compensa relajarte en una tranquila esquina algún lugar.Ahora si quieres ir y tienen algunas buenas bromas antiguo con una mentalidad de soldados, no te decepcionará.La casera ha estado aquí durante muchos años y estará encantada de dar tan buena como ella se pone.Es un gran lugar y se puede beber bien con buen humor quien eres.

Visited this pub, was ok but we only stayed for one drink as plenty of other places to try. A locals' pub, quite noisy.
