Really nice pub lovely bar staff too

Very busy in there but we had pre booked a table so it was fine. The boxing was on with plenty of screens to be able to watch it. Felt safe with door staff on. Bar staff were friendly. Steak sizzler was cooked perfectly, very tasty, good value for money.

Good food ( had amazing fish and chips ) and great service. Adam and staff were brilliant . Cheers

Ordered food at the bar walked back to my table and food was being brought out. Chips were stone cold and lasagna was burnt and full of grease nobody came to our table to see if our food was OK for 45 minutes even though it could be seen we hadn't touched our plates. Finally found a waitress and asked.for manager we showed her our plates and discussed our issue we paid by card and was given a refund in cash so how will kitchen staff know that the food isn't edible we will never return to this establishment again and will warn others the same very disappointing.

Omg! Where do I start! Amazing went in for dinner last night after work, had the boss burger and family had some other meals which looked amazing I couldn’t even stomach a desert sadly! The staff are amazing as well as being very helpful the place has a lovely atmosphere and it has had a fresh makeover will definitely be going back!

this place has just opened today They should’ve kept it closed. We were sat waiting at a table for 10 minutes not being able to place an order through the app as it came up unknown error so we sat there after being placed by a lady by underneath the TV screen so we were surrounded by lads screaming at the telly which is not what you want when you go to have a meal with your child so we sat there and waited, and in the end we got up and left we wouldn’t go back. We can’t get a decision on the food because we didn’t even get chance to place an order We did try to get the woman’s attention more than once to try and get her to move us from the seat But we unfortunately couldn’t, I wouldn’t say this was a family orientated pub by any means.

Wanted a mixed grill and was told they didn't have the normal steak, and it was an extra £4 if I wanted steak with it, lol I opted fir the beef rib instead which was served with small portion of rice the rib was good but definitely need to sort out what it's served with. Absolutely loved the fish and chips at Saracens Head! The fish was well-cooked, and the chips were nicely crispy. Great value for money and a satisfying, classic meal. Highly recommend!

A little bit of up to date feedback... Came here tonight for a family meal... Alish was manager and a new server was being trained on till operations. Both these ladies were both very understanding with me as we navigated the different options available for each meal. The meals came out extremely quick for a Saturday night ... Well done to the chefs !! Nice place to eat, daily offers on main meals, great choice of food. The only thing there was a couple of annoying flies around.

Went for evening meal wasn't too busy so got table easy enough, main meal arrived in about 15 - 20 mins but dessert took over 35 minutes so not great. Food was nice and staff friendly, but pudding took too long as I was a solo diner just wanted to eat and go.

Very quick, very tasty, was able to use the blue light app to get 10% off.

The Saracens Head is a fantastic place to get some food and drink. It has a wide variety of meals for adults and children and for people of varying dietary requirements. It's a child friendly place too, and the staff are accommodating to parents, and they help make sure that there are high chairs for young toddlers. The food is always tasty, comes in generous portions, and the staff are always very friendly and professional, creating a lively and welcoming pub atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting and grabbing some food and drink from the Saracens Head Pub!

We came there as a works gathering. I personally have never been there before. The food was fantastic the fish was the best I’ve ever eaten. The staff were really lovely and the atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend a visit and the food.

only thing that lets this place down is the toilets need a good clean - staff are lovely food is great- have no further questions just my views an thoughts went back a year later -toilets even dirtier

Didn't eat this time around. Good atmosphere here.Disco was on from 9 pm and football on a selection of screens if you wanted to watch. Nothing was to loud.Food was available too. Beer was good also. A decent night out all round

Had a great night watching a Gary Glitter tribute act, sadly my mates wife had her face slashed in the car park by the lead singer. Other than that it was a good night, definitely recommend.

Was out in Shirley cracking through all the charity shops. Swung into the sazzers. I was off put as I wasn't sure which way the pub was pointing (seen loads of people walking through different doors and facing different ways). Ordered my self a simple boiled egg, toast and a cordial. 2 minutes later I was tucking into my boiler. Toast was incredible but possibly the dryest egg I have ever eaten, I had to order 2 more cordials for lubricant. Good pub, good toast and good range of cordials. Can I suggest arrows and signs so I know which way the pub is. Thanks

Visited yesterday for food, tasted amazing! Great pint of Peroni with the meal, great atmosphere, I believe I was served by an Amber and a Ryan, will definitely be returning, I felt at ease and relaxed in this bar. 💕

This pub as gone down hill from the last time we went there staff as changed. no soft drinks working looking dirty think. its time for a . refreshing had macaroni cheese was a frozen meal and was not worth the money poor all round

Popped in for lunch to use 25% off voucher. Shame that no real ales on but Guinness was good. Had the "cluckin hot" chicken burger. Was very tasty and well presented. Will definitely return for food in future.

All the staff are so friendly and always have an opportunity to have a chat, the toilets could be cleaned a bit more often as the Gents don't stand close enough I'm afraid, I hope I do.

I gave 5 because the food is good and I would recommend the dining experience. The wet experiences I endure time after have become intolerable. I can be visibly seen by staff waiting to be served. I wait patiently as another customer, menu in had approaches the bar. Only then will certain bar staff ask who is next whilst automatically serving the customer with menu in hand. I decided yesterday that I will not be going to the Saracens Head again. I wonder if it is stealth policy to prioritise customers requiring your dining experience over that that simply want a pint.

Went to visit family and went here for an early evening meal. The food was good, fast from the kitchen, and well cooked. The atmosphere was good, plenty of tv's for the enthuisastic footy fan too. Would certsinly go back, alcohol price well also.

Great food, even when busy it still comes out hot and fresh tasting. Staff are always willing to help and are kind and polite

The place is good. But all the time I go there the service staff always forget to bring something from the order and I have to ask every time for the missing food. Had to ask to clean the table this time as well. Place is always short in staff.

This pub is such a hidden gem. Food 10/10, Staff always friendly and smiling. Clean and tidy. The only thing missing is Cally, was always greeted with a smile and a chat before she moved away.

Best food locally by far 10 out of 10

Terribly disappointed with the service and the taste of the food. The chicken burger was very hard . I was very thrilled go to the pub for the first dinner in England but I regret my decision and may never look back to visit there. Spent 34 pounds and no worth for the money paid. May be a good place if you go for drinks to the place
