Always fantastic to attend the best ever ever pub in shirley with fantastic staff Amber Adam and kerry and eille and aiden amazing hard worker at looking after the customers Amber and others

Didn't eat this time around. Good atmosphere here.Disco was on from 9 pm and football on a selection of screens if you wanted to watch. Nothing was to loud.Food was available too. Beer was good also. A decent night out all round

Was out in Shirley cracking through all the charity shops. Swung into the sazzers. I was off put as I wasn't sure which way the pub was pointing (seen loads of people walking through different doors and facing different ways). Ordered my self a simple boiled egg, toast and a cordial. 2 minutes later I was tucking into my boiler. Toast was incredible but possibly the dryest egg I have ever eaten, I had to order 2 more cordials for lubricant. Good pub, good toast and good range of cordials. Can I suggest arrows and signs so I know which way the pub is. Thanks

Had a great night watching a Gary Glitter tribute act, sadly my mates wife had her face slashed in the car park by the lead singer. Other than that it was a good night, definitely recommend.

The staff are great service time is very fast too and beer quality is probably the best in shirly

Visited yesterday for food, tasted amazing! Great pint of Peroni with the meal, great atmosphere, I believe I was served by an Amber and a Ryan, will definitely be returning, I felt at ease and relaxed in this bar. 💕

This pub as gone down hill from the last time we went there staff as changed. no soft drinks working looking dirty think. its time for a . refreshing had macaroni cheese was a frozen meal and was not worth the money poor all round

Went for mothers day with family , 9 of us , ordered 9 different meals, which came within 20 minutes of ordering..all as requested ,and all hot meals ..staff all knew what they was doing , very pleasant, ..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Friendly welcome & very efficient staff.

Popped in for lunch to use 25% off voucher. Shame that no real ales on but Guinness was good. Had the "cluckin hot" chicken burger. Was very tasty and well presented. Will definitely return for food in future.

All the staff are so friendly and always have an opportunity to have a chat, the toilets could be cleaned a bit more often as the Gents don't stand close enough I'm afraid, I hope I do.

Visited here today for a bite to eat and a refreshing pint of Peroni! Would definitely recommend, such a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, I was served by a guy called Ryan, he said he was a new starter and we had a lovely conversation!

I gave 5 because the food is good and I would recommend the dining experience. The wet experiences I endure time after have become intolerable. I can be visibly seen by staff waiting to be served. I wait patiently as another customer, menu in had approaches the bar. Only then will certain bar staff ask who is next whilst automatically serving the customer with menu in hand. I decided yesterday that I will not be going to the Saracens Head again. I wonder if it is stealth policy to prioritise customers requiring your dining experience over that that simply want a pint.

Went to visit family and went here for an early evening meal. The food was good, fast from the kitchen, and well cooked. The atmosphere was good, plenty of tv's for the enthuisastic footy fan too. Would certsinly go back, alcohol price well also.

Great food, even when busy it still comes out hot and fresh tasting. Staff are always willing to help and are kind and polite

The place is good. But all the time I go there the service staff always forget to bring something from the order and I have to ask every time for the missing food. Had to ask to clean the table this time as well. Place is always short in staff.

This pub is such a hidden gem. Food 10/10, Staff always friendly and smiling. Clean and tidy. The only thing missing is Cally, was always greeted with a smile and a chat before she moved away.

Came here for food and ordered on the app, food came out extremely quickly Ordered drinks at the bar and was served by Cez, she has always got a smile on her face serves quickly and even comes over to ask if you want another drink! Look forward to the next visit

Visit was on a January Wed eve. Big plus - excellent tv screens that are ideal for sport. Despite this, the lounge was not busy. Limited choice of beers are above average price.

Terribly disappointed with the service and the taste of the food. The chicken burger was very hard . I was very thrilled go to the pub for the first dinner in England but I regret my decision and may never look back to visit there. Spent 34 pounds and no worth for the money paid. May be a good place if you go for drinks to the place

Lunchtime food offer is an absolute bargain. Our group sampled Fish & Chips and Gammon & Chips. Both excellent for the money charged. Beers are excellent too.

The bartender Steph was amazing, so friendly and attentive, she really made me feel welcome! The food was amazing, really enjoyed it! Would definitely come back.

Eaten here yesterday and went back today as it was so good; best Steak and Ale Pie I've ever had! Service was great, staff and locals were very welcoming. Nice atmosphere and a big fire. Dog friendly. Decent menu, reasonable prices, highly recommend!

I've visited this pub many times as its very local its in a great location and could be fantastic however the food was awful everything we ordered was either burned or soggy furthermore it was untidy and dirty on a positive note the staff were very pleasant and prices are reasonable its so disappointing as it has the potential to be perfect for families we wont return think we will stick to the pump house.

Our waiters, Connor and Hannah were fantastic. They were so warm and welcoming and I will definitely be visiting again.

Me and the family came in for lunch today. The service exceptional from all staff, made us feel very welcome and will definitely be returning. A special thanks to Candice who took care of us for the afternoon, making sure everything was up to our standard.

I am a frequent visitor of the saracens head. The food quality, and draught beer is always excellent. The new menu is phenomenal and great value for money - and I love the deals such as kids meal deals, golden years, etc. The staff are all hardworking and attentive - particularly Amber, who always goes the extra mile to meet our needs. Great pub!!

Visited for lunch after the donkey derby with two very hot sweaty and irritable children. The staff couldn't have been better with the kids the food and drinks were served in a very timely fashion and were absolutely beautiful. Great job all around

Staying in the attached Redwings Lodge, breakfast meal was as expected. Not the very best quality but excellent for the price, service was very good.

Staff are amazingly helpful and kind - nothing is too much trouble and with kids in tow that's welcome !! Service is very attentive and staff such as Steph are great examples of good hospitality. The menu is good and typical of its type - well presented and tasty. The atmosphere at lunch is happy and relaxed although never been here for the evening.

The lady bouncer Rikki is so helpful and understanding in any situation an a credit to the pub all the staff and management are all great and will go out of there way to help anyone
