Beautiful evening at Sapori! The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, as it always is and a lovely setting.

Second time visiting and still brilliant. The service is warm and the restaurant is modern and lovely. Had the 3 course lunch menu which not only great value but really yummy homemade food. Highly recommend and will visit again.

This is the first time we have visited Sapori, but definitely not the last. The food was fabulous, tried food not had before and the staff were great, explained everything and answered our questions. Had lobster ravioli with linguine. Fantastic. Will be back soon.

First visit to Sapori … a lovely evening with a couple of friends. The service was excellent…unfortunately didn’t get the young lady’s name who served us but she was both pleasant and attentive. The Spaghetti carbonara was excellent and would definitely have again. Think we may try a lunchtime as I have been told by friends it is very good. I would definitely recommend 😃

Visited today with friends and ate from the set lunch menu. We had three courses, a good range of choices (prawn and avocado cocktail, bruschetta, risotto, calamari and aubergine pasta) and all dishes were really lovely and well presented. Service was excellent.

This is a lovely, family run Italian which showcases food that is a little bit better than your average Italian! The portion sizes are good with a reasonable amount of choice. A menu that works, not too much choice but cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly.

Sapori is a family run Italian restaurant in the heart of Lindley Huddersfield that opened last year to rave reviews. Both of the owners have Italian heritage so we knew we were in for some proper authentic Italian food. The menu has lots of twists on Italian classic dishes but the main focus is on their homemade pasta dishes. Huge shout out to our fabulous waitress, who chatted with us for ages and gave us some great recommendations from the menu- there is nothing better than people who are passionate about the food and drink that they are serving. Speaking of the food, we expected it to be great but it completely surpassed all of our expectations. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely packed with bold flavours. We devoured every last bite of all of our dishes and we truly felt like we were back in Italy Highlights included Parpadelle al Ragu di Anatra (Parpadelle with Duck and Olive Ragu). Hands down one of the best pasta dishes we have ever had the pleasure of trying. The sauce was gorgeous- rich, meaty, bold with that sharp salty bite from the olives. The duck was a fantastic addition with its deep gamey and slightly smoky flavour. The pasta was absolutely stunning- thick ribbons cooked perfectly al dente and just tasted super fresh- it reminded us of ravioli style pasta and we loved it. Carbonara- With all of the different choices of pasta on the menu, you may wonder why i picked a classic. When we make pasta at home we often stick to the tomato based sauces so i wanted to try something creamy- also the simplest of dishes really show how good a restaurant is as there is nowhere to hide. What can i say, it was absolutely gorgeous, like seriously moreish where you just cant stop eating. I dont know exactly what was in the sauce but it packed a real flavour punch- rich and buttery with a lovely kick of pepper running through. The panchetta was cooked to perfection adding that crispy crunchy salty bite to the sea of creamy goodness. The fresh pasta buried under a generous helping of parmesan was simply delicious. A classic dish taken to the next level Creme Brulee- This is one of my favourite desserts of all time, if not my number one. This started with that thick layer of caramelisation that has the perfect crack when you tap your spoon. Buried inside was a gorgeous rich vanilla heavy buttery creamy brulee custard. Heavenly, decadent and indulgent- i absolutely loved this version To drink we enjoyed Limoncello Spritz, Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned, which were all well balanced and tasted delicious Highly recommend a visit here if you live in the West Yorkshire area, so great to have another fantastic local independent business doing well

Our first visit and certainly not our last! We came to Sapori to celebrate my birthday with my family and it was excellent. The service was amazing from minute one with the right amount of attention to us and very helpful recommendations with ordering. We had starters and mains. The food portions don’t look huge but honestly they are made with such flavour and richness that it is the perfect amount. I personally had the salmon tortellini and it was beautiful and I believe the ragu was a hit with my parents! My brother hate the Nutella pie dessert which was simply divine. Wine was also pleasantly wonderful which was clearly imported rather than chemicalised British wine (basically, we felt like we were in Italy). And to top it off, we were given free limoncello to celebrate my birthday! Thank you to the Sapori team, we will be back.

Visited for a mid week lunch and had a gorgeous meal. They offer a very appetising light lunch menu. We went for three courses for £19.95. Everything was really fresh and yummy. We will definitely return. The portions were very generous and good value for money. The restaurant itself is lovely and has a cosy atmosphere. Service was very friendly and efficient. The door to the kitchen was open and you could see it was spotless.

The carbonara was nice, small portions. The Chicken was a large portion and very nice.

We were visiting family locally, and the lovely family own/run restaurant was a short walk from our air b&b. Suggested by his sister, and we were NOT disappointed, everything was lovely, and we will be back on our next visit to Lindley

Went as a group of six on the recommendation of two in our group. Lovely restaurant, knowledgable waitress on the menu both food and drinks, great service and amazing food! Restaurant was closing and we were still sat around talking but not rushed out by staff. Would recommend and will also be back again.

This is the second visit to this restaurant, the first being a family occasion. I am really impressed with this restaurant, the staff and level of service was fantastic and very customer focused. This latest visit with my wife was a wedding anniversary celebration. The food was excellent, and the wine selection was perfect for the meal. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant, and will be visiting again in the near future.

Had a lovely evening on Saturday night. The service was great, staff friendly & attentive. Food arrived promptly after ordering. The atmosphere was intimate, but still had a wonderful buzz . I can only say the lasagne was absolutely fantastic. One of the best I’ve ever tasted. Infact we both thoroughly enjoyed all our food. We will definitely be back.

Myself and my family came for dinner last night and wow! What a night we all had..the food was incredible, the staff were amazing, the place and atmosphere its self was just beautiful! Nothing was too much hassle, every single staff member went above and beyond & every single one of us loved our food. The attention to detail and thought that’s gone into everything these guys offer shines through. We will definitely be back!

The Frito Misto was excellent, the carbonara spaghetti delicious and the Pappardelle Ragu exceptional. Maybe best in Lindley.

New Years Eve visit with my Husband. The food was very good, service excellent and the ambience was chilled and friendly. Vegetarian choices available and happy to tweak meat dishes so that they were vegetarian, giving more choice. Price reasonable for set menu including prosecco on arrival and coffee to finish. We will definitely be back.

Last minute booking for New Year's Eve. Very busy but very friendly and efficient service. Good choice of alcohol free drinks for the designated driver (me!) and a great wine list. Set menu but still spoiled for choice and the food was excellent . We will definitely be going back. Thank you 😊

Was there with my family for a Christmas Eve's dinner. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making you feeling like at home with friends. Food was incredibly yummy, of good quality and quantity, asthetically pleasing and also everything taste just like proper italian Food. Overall experience was absolutely amazing and i will definatelly come back asap.

Wow I have been wanting to visit Sapori for a while now and finally had the opportunity to eat there last night (Fri 8/12). It did not disappoint the food was fantastic, the best carbonara I have ever had 😋, my friends had fillet of beef cooked to perfection and also the Torteloni Neri de Salmone again excellent. The wine was great recommended by the waitress. The staff are lovely, all in all an excellent night shared with friends in a beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu 😁

I have eaten in some good restaurants around the world. This place has to be amongst the best.

We had a great night with good food and excellent service.The restaurant is small and intimate and a lovely place spend time with friends.

1st visit, bit disappointing, found the menu limited and the main course portions of pasta very small compared to every Italian restaurant we have ever visited, it was smaller than a starter portion. Poor value for money. Shame as the restaurant has a great location in a lovely village. There are a lot of other options in Lindley so sadly we won’t be visiting again.

We had a great visit here. We were a group of five including one vegetarian and came for lunch. We chose from the limited 2 or 3 course menu, but of course, the main menu was available too. All of us were very happy with our choices. There was plenty on the plate and it was very tasty. We were very well looked after by the staff. We recommend and will return.

2 diners -Shared the antipasto platter which was delicious Staff were very friendly and helpful about dishes we could have and change to accommodate gluten free requirements. Although its a limited menu there were a good selection of flavours to choose from.....we will certainly be visiting again very soon!

This was our second visit to Sapori and again it did not disappoint. The dinner at Sapori was excellent yet again, the food, wine and service was first class.

Fantastic find. Our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Food is excellent and well priced. A more limited menu which I prefer. All choices were delicious. As winter approaches, the front door straight into the restaurant may be an issue for those sat in front of it. So ask to sit away. A protective panel and a table move about may make diners more comfortable. I'll be back!

This is a relatively new restaurant in Lindley, situated on the main street. The decor is beautiful, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is simply beautiful - authentic Italian cooking. The best Italian food we have had in years, a small menu, freshly prepared and cooked . They also do themed nights.

Although it was Thursday evening it was still a good ambience, food very good and service(stevie) excellent, our first visit but will be returning.

Fabulous. Better than Erics, Home amd The Scullery and they were all excellent, but this took the biscuit. Food perfectly cooked, beautifully served, lovely atmosphere - it had everything a d I do hope it will do well - it deserves to be packed every night.

Probably unfair to rate the atmosphere a one star but we were the only diners - perhaps Thursday evenings aren't popular? Food was fabulous. Place looks the part and the seats are actually comfortable! Drink - incorrect one brought first but they'd opened a bottle so I drank it. Then the barrel was being changed followed by a problem with the gas. So I had another bottled beer. Service - friendly but somewhat lacking in attentiveness. Seeing as we were the only clients you wouldn't have thought you'd need to catch attention for another drink. Only managed 2 small bottles of beer during the evening, which is slightly out of character! We took a taxi but I could have driven. Will try again but perhaps at a weekend.

Surprised with the ratings here. We’d heard the hype and decided to try. Unfortunately, the food is poor. It’s tasteless. I had to ask for seasoning to give it some flavour. My pasta was swimming in oil too. The price of dishes is too high and the portions very small. Decided to try the tiramisu. No coffee flavour at all. Just tastes like cream. Service was slow (one waitress only who was not very attentive).

Excellent new restaurant. Our first visit, it won't be our last. The service was friendly, unobtrusive and professional. The food was served perfectly, excellent presentation, good quality ingredients to produce the authentic Italian dishes. Good value for money.

Food good although a tad overpriced small place so need to book and because the space is small it seemed very noisy no car park so you have to park in the street which can get busy

Visited Sapori 2 weeks ago Friday 4.0pm 2 people, got there on time nobody else in smart young waitress showed us to table 10 mins later came to ask if we wanted a drink !!, ordered Negroni & Aperol , my partner who is a regular Aperol drinker said the was a over kill on soda , ordered starters Arancini & Calamari, both o.k but Arancini tasted good on a bed of truffle sauce, proble.was cold plate so had to eat quick as sauce was concealing on cold plate, mains were Tagliatelle all'Amatriciana (pasta ,tomatoes cured diced pork cheek, & Risotto with leek Asparagus & King prawn, the Risotto was fine but the Tagliatelle the diced pork was hard and inedible plus the dish was totally over salted to the point my partner was still complaining about a sore mouth 2 days later, we ordered a dessert to share Tiramasu which was on chocolate powder & a thick layer of cho olate powder on top making it "claggy" also completely devoid of the taste of Mars alas wine, we had white wine to start which was only slightly chilled,all in all not a great meal ,and the worst part if you are going ,in very small print on the very bottom of the menu ,the dreaded 10% discretionary service charge !!!, how can any resteraunt have a service charge on alcohol ???, worse I have spoken to two different people who dined there didn't see the service charge wer,nt informed & gave a tip ?? which was accepted "NAUGHTY"
