I have used this place for a few years now and cannot fault it. The food is always excellent, occasionally have to wait a short while as it gets pretty busy.

I occasionally drop in here when I visit Birmingham. It has probably been a year now that the prices have changed on the menu and they haven't updated it so you don't quite know how much everything costs. It's suspicious because I generally order the same things and get charged differently each time. I know I'm probably being overcharged at times but the place seems clean and the food is good.

I came to watch the Eng vs India test from the North East and came here on my drive back to grab a bite Purely by the taste of the Aloo Paratha, I was blown away The place doesn’t boast of ambience, what you see is what you get But if you desire to simplify your needs to tasting amazing Aloo Paratha, I would say, WORTH a try Thank you

If you're looking for an authentic Punjabi Sweet Centre, that captures the taste of Punjab or very close, this is the one. I've tried/tasted all the Sweet Centres in Brum over the years. We're Punjabi, it's what we do! Excellent Barfi, Gulab Jaman, Besan & Parauntay. It's our go to place, in past 20 years or more. They have another shop in Hamstead Village, just as good. Very busy place but service is good, and genuine guys!

No beberé té otra vez aquí.

NUNCA me he decepcionado.

The food was extraordinary and it only tastes better each time I visit. They make the best indian curries like Palak Pannar and Mix Veg coupled with paratha and home made yoghurt. Also the vegetable starters are great they have over 10 different pakoras/ chaats to chose from. there the best ones I tasted in Birmingham. We ordered random stuff and everything was really delicious and tasty.

We visited Sangam Sweet Centre on a Saturday afternoon after being told that this is a nice decent place which serves authentic Punjabi food. Unfortunately this place is nothing like that. We ordered a portion of Mixed Pakoras / Aloo Parathas / Samosa Chaat / Aloo Tikki Chaat / Sweet Lassi / Salted Lassi - Jalebi / Ras Malai / Milk Cake / Laddo. Mixed Pakoras were very oily and not fresh / Aloo Paratha was ok but nothing special / Samosa and Aloo Tikki chaat was absolutely not worth it The worst was Lassi which was nothing but cold milk with sugar. Jalebi was ok but it was cold. The only good thing to eat we liked was Milk Cake and Besan Laddoo. The conclusion which me and friends reached was that this place was good for Sweets only and not anything else!

Read the reviews for best Aloo Parathas in Manchester and Sangam topped the list.. So decided to eat there.. The sweet shop/restaurant isn't all that... The food was extraordinary.. One of the best ones I tasted. We ordered random stuff and everything was really delicious ans tasty. Do not expect 5 star service or location. Shop plays really nice old music, reminds of little shops in Delhi. If visiting Manchester, definitely worth going. Visited twice in 2 days.

When I crave aloo paratha (potatoes in indian bread) this is where I go. It takes over 40 minutes by car but it's worth it. They have a few fresh curries every day on display that you can choose from (no menu here) and lots of freshly fried snacks. You don't go for the ambience! Basic decor and very busy on the week end. It hearty indian vegetarian food at it's best. Yum

I have been coming here since I was a child - the decor is similar to a typical Indian street Dhoaba in India and it has Indian classical film music playing, with Indian kitchen staff running around cooking delightful food for customers.I would give this 5 star perfect review however there have been one or two occasions where my food has been cold or reheated and not fresh - for example I was expecting fresh samosas on one occasion and ended up with re-fried samosas! However other than that rare ocassion this is definitely a nice place to eat if you are shopping nearby or just nearby and feel like a snack or meal - I

Sangam Vegetarian restaurant is one of our favourites. We love the samosas, the chilli paneer (though a bit hot), the sweets. It has a very out of date decor, with the same people in different photos, but that is great to us, it seems like looking into the past. The food is great, and the samosas are cooked for you while you wait, and you and are the best samosa in Birmingham to us.There is counter service, not much table service although there is not much in the way of tables. They will cook something not on the menu for you if you want, which is a nice personal touch.Very little parking in the area unless you use the Lidl's car park that is nearby.

And the drive of two hours well worth it! Love their food. Best veg food I've ever tasted! And their carrot achar is just fabulous .. Most people would think their decor could do with an update but I think it adds to the charm and giving it a feeling of "family run" business that's main focus is quality and delicious-ness :):)

The food was okay and it reminded me of the Asian Doabas you get in India due to it's rocky decor - however the food ranged from being delicious to something reheated out of the fridge (which I didn't appreciated). I loved the Mooli Parotha but I didn't like the Samosa which seemed to have been fried twice! The customer service was fast and nice however it does need a little improvement with the food they are serving as the quality ranges from great to average.
