Sancho's in Thanet

Perfect kebabs - friendly staff and really authentic, tasty food. Came upon this takeaway and am glad we did because the meat was fresh - all cooked in front of us - fresh salads and sauces. Couldn’t fault it. The whole family enjoyed their meal.

Absolutely delicious home delivery of 3 doner kebabs. Nicely cooked, not greasy, excellent salads and one of our group requested that her pitta bread be served separately. Quick and friendly delivery. Great value. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious. Delivered quickly so was lovely and hot. We order from Sanchos regularly. The food always tastes fresh and they aim to please. If you want something done a little differently they will gladly help .

Absolutely terrible so I’ve got my food with no garlic sauce like I asked for and chilly sauce ring them at nine I live in Ramsgate I have to drive it all the way back over by that time it will dry I had jalapeño cream cheeses along with Santos up jalapeño were non-existent I asked the guy behind the counter on the phone Are these jalapeño cream cheese it he said the jalapeño cream cheese is but they’ve got no jalapeños in stupid. Stupid people. Worst experience of my life will never ever be using this place again. No sorry, no nothing disgusted

. The guy behind the counter was friendly. The takeaway looked clean and the large kebab was tasty. Maybe at £8.90 a little overpriced compared to other places but i paid it so was obviously happy.

Ordered from here before, always been semi-ok. Today delivery guy turned up with a pizza missing so I refused to accept the order (luckily I hadn't paid) which he wasn't happy about. I rang them to explain why I wasn't accepting the order and was told I should have taken it and they would have cooked and sent out a fresh pizza. Person on the phone didn't seem to understand that I wanted my order complete and didn't want to take some now and some later. He got very vocal and wasn't going to send everything out fresh, he would send one pizza fresh and the rest would be the original food....which would have been cold. It's nice when restaurants accept their mistakes and correct them however he certainly wasn't going to do that. In the end I just told him to cancel the whole thing. I have been a good customer in the past but clearly this doesn't matter and I certainly didn't deserve being shouted at on the phone for their mistake.

What we ordered was what we expected. No complaints and we will return at some point in the future.

Delicious food, arrived promptly, very fresh and hot, tasted amazing. And the delivery driver followed instructions to come round the side of the property. Very impressed, would definitely order again, thank you.

We absolutely love our local Sanchos. Being half Turkish, I regularly enjoyed kebabs as a treat growing up. These guys make fantastic food at great prices. My petit-pirate loves the kid's portion Margherita pizza (as do I!)

I can certainly see why Sanchos is rated number 85 out of 87. Good knows what the other 2 must be like. Following my last negative review I gave them in 2017, I did say then I would never return. That is true up until now. Since Dream Kitchen opened just before Christmas we have been using them and can't fault them. But thought we would give Sanchos another go because surely they must of improved. But looking at the recent reviews that clearly is not the case. How simple is this. My wife phoned up and asked for 1 large chicken shish, no pitta, all salad and chilli sauce. Also 1 medium chicken shish, with a pitta, all salad and garlic sauce. As soon as my wife finished the call I said. "I bet they get it wrong" It turned up in good time admittedly. They write the order down so how can they get it wrong so often? Guess what? It was wrong. After saying no pitta bread I got one anyway. Agree that's not the end of the world. I just took it off and threw it in the bin. What did make me laugh was the All Salad. This consisted of a bit of shredded lettuce, some onion, red cabbage and a half of thinly sliced tomato. But I was the lucky one my wife didn't get any tomato. The whole thing was pathetic. I think we'll stick to Dream Kitchen at The Broadway. I'll try Sanchos again in another 5 years just for the giggle.

Order was wrong. On the NO checklist, I said no to chillies and cheese. The orcer came without any salad at all. Anybody with half a brian would understand that if a customer said no chillies, then they expected a salad without chillies. When I called to see what had happened, the person on the pnone explained that I had not ordered a salad and so did not get one. He then hung up. Very rude man ! I really hope others u derstand their vefy user unfriendly ordering system. I will never use again, unfortunate as their food is ok. Just their attitude, take it or leave it.

I ordered a chicken kebab on Friday evening, and it was terrible. In fact, it was utterly revolting and it bore no resemblance to a kebab. It was meant to be a chicken doner, but it was in fact a lot of grey tasteless oily meat - the kind that can be taken off a carcass a few days after a Sunday roast - crammed into a doughy raw pitta bread. It had nothing in it apart from this tasteless chicken. No seasoning - lemon - sauce - nothing. But worse was to come. I returned it - I'd paid £7.50 and could only manage two mouthfuls - and the serving guys were so rude and sarcastic. They didn't take my complaint seriously and instead chose to mock me - 'Thank you darlin'. That was it - my complaint was ridiculed. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, any time, any age - no matter how much you have had to drink this place isn't going to serve you anything tasty. AVOID AVOID AVOID

We use Sanchos about once a month, normally pretty quick and hot and reliable. Tonight my kebab had no sauce and I called back to enquire. I was given no apology, asked to keep the original kebab and exchange it when the new one arrived, as if I was lying. I then ate separately to my family. Very arrogant levels of customer service.

Sanchos…where do I start! It is the ultimate kebab gaff in the whole of broady, bound from the depths of the high stréét! It is wonderful beyond confectionery! I do love a jelly bean but I also love a chicken doner wrap…make it a meal! And one to remember! Service - 10/10, Meat - 10/10 (I love meat) NO SANCH WITHOUT A HO!

Ordered a takeaway over the phone for delivery various family member require different things and it arrived exactly as we wanted. It’s always popping hot my only criticism is I would like the chips to be freshly cooked for the order can often taste like reheated but the shush wraps I would give 10 out of 10 for

We used to live in Broadstairs and were surprised to see some of the reviews when we came to stay on holiday last week - it nearly put us off. But when I popped in to get a menu and asked about delivery, I found the place to be as clean as I remember and the staff very friendly. We ordered with friends so had a variety of dishes and everything that turned up was spot on. The service was also really good and the delivery driver was really friendly.

So I found sanchos lovely but recently it’s been going down hill, cold food late delivery’s, raw chips uncooked meat it’s a shame as I actually used to enjoy there food. And the manager is just rude if you mention it to them for the prices they charge you shouldn’t be having issues

Ordered a takeaway. Quick efficient delivery with a smile. Exactly as ordered. Very nice food so no complaints here.

I always order from sanchos and they always provide great prices and fast delivery and outstanding food

I do not like giving one stars however it is very disappointing that food traders to not try to make improvements to the interior and exterior of the food shop which will help benefit their trading and at the same time improve the visual look of the high road, as many of our seaside locations in the UK are indeed suffering due to the lack of a pretty high road with attractive looking shops. Its my own personal opinion and hope that the one star will help the traders reflect and make improvements as Broadstairs is need of good take away food shops.

I would give it no rating if I could. They forgot my salad order. Took over half an hour for them to bring that to me. By that time everyone else had almost finished their dinner so I ate on my own. Delivery man was rude and stoned. Kebab meat had three pieces of what appeared to be bone in it (it probably wasn't but that's what it looked and felt like to bite into). When I called to tell them the 'chef' was extremely rude! He told me it's because the little lambs are now old lambs and that's what happens to meat. I can understand gristle but this was rock hard. No customer service skills or customer consideration. Ruined my dinner and an apology would of done but I didn't even get that. Spoken to like a child with no respect. Complete waste of money and left me upset and angry on my Friday evening.

Very upset I am a regular here, Thursday night of Folkweek arrived at 11.45pm four people went in before me I was about a metre away from the door and a chap shut the door and locked it, asked him to let me in he said closed and walked away, great customer service what ? will not be going back, as they say more fish in the sea.

The exterior looks tacky and uninviting, owners need to check Pinterest for ideas on how to spruce up their shop, they may find the gain more customers.

Awkward to park near this take away. Food hot and tasty but I have to say I did twice have a bit of an after effect which led to a whole new relationship with my toilet. I can't say it was definitely the fault of the shop but the coincidence id a bit too obvious. That aside I have returned an several occasions and had a great meal.

But sadly they tend to concentrate on delivery orders, than people queuing in the shop, waited 25 minutes for 2 chicken kebabs, need to get on the case, or will loose customers.

I ordered from here having had a leaflet through the letterbox, and had not tried them before. I ordered the mixed donner and chips. This should have come with some salad, which it didn't, but they happily delivered the salad, which arrived after about 15 minutes. They made the mistake for me by putting the chips in the bottom of the container, and the kebab meats on top of the chips, resulting in soggy chips. I would have preferred chips, kebab and salad in different containers, however I understand how environmentally unfriendly that is. Prompt delivery and lots of kebab meat.

Food was superb for fast food, we had pizza. Staff friendly and attentive and we nearly left without paying! Will eat there again.

Our order arrived barely warm and was completely wrong. I didn't bother to ring and reorder as I didn't want to wait another hour for it to be re delivered complete waste of money!

Consistently excellent food, prompt service, either for collection or delivery, good value for everything on the menu. Heartily recommended!

Esta noche pedimos una comida para llevar a domicilio. La comida estaba bien, como se puede esperar de un kebab. Una cosa que nunca he visto antes era el conductor de la entrega con un cigarrillo en su mano cuando entregue la comida. Olía a tabaco rancio. Mal servicio al cliente. No se utilizan estas de nuevo.

Pedimos dos cosas, una hamburguesa, y un kabab burger estaba bien aunque un poco rosado y olvidar mi cebollas pero el kabab estaba seco y horrible. . . No sólo eso encontramos un tamaño longitud de pelo dentro! Ahora mi pelo es azul y mi novio es de pelo pelo jengibre y este marrón, así que no hay oportunidad, era nuestro! Y cuando mi novio llamó para quejarse que recibimos quejas de rabia en él e insultos diciéndole a venir a la tienda y afrontar él! A pesar de ser tranquilo y razonable, él personalmente me siento este es diabólica servicio al cliente y nunca volveremos a que establecimiento!

First time on a Monday night, tried here and wish I had walked up the road further to buy a sandwich at the Co-op. Quality of lamb was poor and thin chicken really grilled too much - 70% black.

When did a kebab cost £7 ??? and I was told to pay extra for salad... If I remember (chances are I won't) I will not be going back !

Buena comida bien preparada y entrega rápida a un buen precio. Las bebidas son caros pero todos los caminos están en lugares como éste. Mejor tienda de kebabs en Broadstairs.

Lovely food and quick efficient service free lolly pops for the children and nice fresh kebabs, will go again definitely and the children really enjoyed there well sized kids meal

Good place for the bottom of the town kebab, but a bit dear but all the kebabs in Broadstair's are.They don't load the kebab up as much in this one as much as Broadstairs Kebab but i think Sancho's is a better one. Lovely chips and garlic mayo here as well

Received an uncooked chicken sheesh tonight, had to wait for over half an hour before a replacement was sent, when we dared to call to question how long it would be we were hurtled with abuse from its staff will definitely not be ordering again!!!

fresh and tastes great, well worth the money, you get your money's worth, fresh and great eating, pizza's are the best around, salads' are fresh and the chicken and lamb you cant beat in taste
