I moved to Ramsgate a week ago and wr all know what it's like when you first move in, you take a chance and order take out, I really fancied chicken, we ordered not realising that Ramsgate chicken was actually in Margate, but it still arrived promptly. I really enjoyed the bbq chicken tonthebpoint I ordered the same two days later. My flat mate had a chicken wrap and 1 piece of chicken I had bbq chicken wings and chips on my 2nd order I orders the bbq chicken wings meals and some fried chicken. Really enjoyed it and will definitely use in the future and recommend to friends. 5* delicious

My misses had a chicken burger that was inedible and I am a chef and could cook one better than what that was 🤮.

To me, RFC is better than KFC and it's cheaper too. We love spicy and BBQ wings 🍗 the most.

The only let down, was that it could have been hotter on arrival but that being said. It did not effect the quality and taste. Lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful. Will be ordering from here again.

Better than KFC! The bargain buckets are great value for money, with always generous portions, perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. Their delivery service is friendly and prompt too.

Shocking experience, especially since I last visited 2 years ago... Food took an hour to be delivered when I was told it would be 15 minutes and it would have taken longer if I didn't call to inquire where my order was. It was all the incorrect order, I didn't receive my 6 spicy chicken wings but instead 12 pieces of chicken. I was glad the food was delivered piping hot but the chicken was of poor quality, the bones of the chicken were black and I received a piece of broken bone in one of the chicken pieces. I also received a Pepsi instead of a coke a Cola... Probably the best bit was the Ben & Jerry's ice cream. I must admit I was disappointed in the service and the quality in food.

Do NOT order from here. Food took over an hour to arrive, it was cold. I bit into chicken and it was PINK, immediately spat it out. I feel sick to my stomach. My partner bit into a bit of his chicken and spat it out straight away and said it didn’t taste right. Considering i can see other reviews with pink chicken in the pictures… this place needs to be closed down. Vile. Never again.

Went for the Piri piri burger which was very nice, little bit too much sauce for my liking. All good turned up in 30 minutes. Mrs went for a variety of chicken and said it was a nice and fresh

Ordered food at 20.29 phoned the and them at 21.13 and again at 21.27 the staff were extremely rude. Food never turned up they refused to give my money back I'm so angry with them they should be shut down!

This place I tired to ordered and rude people even offered to pay by card but got very rude customer service when called ordered many times before and never received this experience

First time with them. The food was fresh and hot. It was not oily. Well priced, food was enough for us 2 and was not expensive at all. We are very impressed with them including the driver who delivered, she was very friendly. All round excellent 👌 thank you. Will call on you again.

I like the peri peri chicken, pop corn chicken and chicken fillets. Chicken on the bone can be hit and miss would recommend walking in rather than ordering delivery

This is literally the worst Fried chicken place I've ever come across. Across the years I've seen pictures and stories of people finding various unsavoury things hidden in their food ranging from needle heads to dead insects. I wish I was over exaggerating but upon my second and final order I found a literal finger nail within the chips. The food itself isn't even good, the hot wings taste like the ones you would get from a pizza place, too hot and with the taste of cereal. The chicken pieces were undercooked, with red juices oozing from the pink meat. The chips and drinks are alright though.

Chips tasted horrid. Chicken was horrid. Not even sure what part of the chicken we had as it looked like a severed tendon. And it’s made both of us feel rather unwell. So yeah highly recommend to just not order.

The lady on the phone was very rude to me as I only wanted to find out the price of chicken. Very rude person and she deserves to be stripped of her job. Terrible customer support and I will not be dining here for as long as she is working there. Awful.

Ordered from this restaurant on just eat, knowing that there's up to an hour wait witch would have been fine, I called the restaurant 20 mins after my order should have been delivered and was told it is infrunt on them, to then have to call back another 20 minutes later to be told it is now being bagged up and that they only have one driver another 20 minutes it arrived so an hour after it should have been with me the only real apology I received was from the driver, my food was less than adequate my chips where anemic and my onion rings where black, cold and definitely not crispy and my bbq saurce was Walmer than the chicken with was lukewarm, didn't not get any further discount from this company and I will not be ordering from here agien.

And please who puts cetchup and burger sauce on a burger without it being requested and also the manager is a total joke and very rood so customer service needs serious attention or better still just close your shop permanent as the place is a food health hazard and I'd rather get food from a good chicken shop like cerucha in Ramsgate where I know the food won't kill me and my family very poor food avoid at all costs

We ordered 12 chicken pieces and 5 were raw in the middle. We called up after to see if we could have some kind of money back. The basically said we were lying. When clearly pink in the middle with little blood. Not going back here again and I will advise everyone else not to go to there also.

This is the second week running now I've had consistent amazing chicken from you guys now I ordered a bucket 10 piece last week for me and 2 others, it arrived promptly and in good time. We opened up the box to a stunning aroma of chicken and got out 12 huge pieces of steaming hot chicken crispy peppery salted cooked perfectly chips where crispy and plentiful and a bottle of freezing cold coke not pepsi it was wonderful Forward a week on and had a small gathering and the subject came up again ..there was talk of a kfc trip but I halted them all and said "guys I've got this" And dialed the number 15 piece this time and a side of chicken strips Oh they didn't disappoint Same delivery time Same amazing chicken Same crispy chips Same licking finger noises in the front room Cheers guys keep up the good work

First and last time ordering, so the food was ok but definitely not worth the 2 hour and 15 min wait, absolutely shocking ordered at 7-30 told be here by 8-30, called at 8-45 and got it’ll be with you in 15 mins waiting on driver, call at 9-15 sorry waiting on driver really not impressed at this point, offered free bottle of coke, 9-45 food actually arrived and dropped to the door by a girl of about 8/9, lady on phone was apologetic but no way should food take that long I’ve never known it even on a busy Friday/Saturday night...

Nice quality and there was a good surrounding area too! I would recommend the pork ribs. Being a dj is hard trying to get good food when you’re in a rush but this is really fast(ish)

Great chicken, went here when KFC had run out of chicken.... the chicken is as good as KFC but the prices are also similar when I'd expect the prices to be lower for an independent chicken shop. The main drawback is the really long waiting times, not sure how quick the delivery service is because I always go to the shop and wait, usually takes between 15-20 minutes... longer in the evenings due to large amounts of telephone orders and deliveries being dealt with.

My favourite Ribs and chips. Sticky Ribs,served perfectly cooked,and nice chips at a touch over £6. Well wrapped,still warm when they got home,and helpful friendly staff.

Ordered at 9:30pm, said it is expected to arrive at 10:25pm. It came to 10:25pm and there was nothing, 10:45 came around, still nothing, 11pm came and still nothing. And then at about 11:10pm we finally got a knock at the door with our food - 1hr 40 minutes after we had ordered it. Are you kidding?! Also, once we actually got to eating it, we were missing gravy, the corn on the cob was completely overcooked, it's terrible. Not going here again.

Food was 1 hour 15 mins late freezing cold and was delivered by an 8 year old child when I spoke to the main driver he wasn’t bothered he was parked 80 meters up the road so wasn’t even watching the child have reported to the restaurant and formal complaint to just eat

Called in last night after a long day over in France. Ribs and chips,took them home,they were well wrapped,got home still hot. Sticky sauce on the ribs,just a hint of chilli,and in perfect condition,not too hard,but firm enough not to loose any sauce. Chips were freshly cooked,and not burned either.

Not Halal as advertised! I unfortunately worked here for a week, and can definitely say they are not properly Halal although they have an out of date certificate on their wall. They cook the pork ribbs and the 'halal' chicken in the same oil. They also use the same BBQ sauce tub to dunk the pork and hicken into before cooking them together on the same grill. I saw one member of staff with a cold directly coughing over the raw chicken with out a though in the world. She did not care at all. I would stear clear completely

I have been eating from Ramsgate Fried Chicken for about 3-4 years and I am always pleased with how delicious the food is... being able to use the Just Eat app is also a plus. Delivery is usually on time and the drivers are always friendly and polite. A must for any chicked lovers.

Its usually very good. You have to get the timing right, if you want them freshly make, which is what I like.

Place is a joke food turns up stone cold incomplete you phone them up get nothing other than a abusive women at the end of the phone giving the large and your in the wrong for complaining heads up to people avoid the place...

This place is very hit or miss. Sometimes you'll get some lovely tasting food with good delivery times but then you can order the exact same food a couple of days later and you'll get it over cooked, smaller portions, and cold. It's a shame.

Last time I went there the chicken wasn't cooked properly and it tasted very watery I phoned to make a complaint they hung the phone up on me twice so i drove back to the shop for them to argue with me about a refund until I said I was phone the local government to put a complaint into them i wouldn't buy from them again

So cross with my order this evening the chips were rock hard and scaly upon delivery it seemed as though it was refried! Incredibly disappointed as always order my chicken wings from here for the sole reason that their chicken seasoning is different to other local takeaways.

Terrible customer service. Ordered over an hour ago and when i called for an update stating i ordered an hour ago, the guy on the phone says "What do you want from me?". Theyre going to close in 8 mins and i havent received my order yet and they asked me to wait 15 more mins because they gave other orders to the delivery guy but not mine. How can i get updates when theyre closed? I pre paid over just eat too and this is just plain terrible.

I clarified my order 3 times with the man who could barely understand me and who i could barely understand . order arrived wrong. After beong told dont understand and hung up on twice I was told i would be sent the missing item. half hour later-nothing. i then spend 10 mins calling them before they answer to be told my order was taken wrong and they would not be sending me the missing items as it wasnt enough for delivery. regular weekly customer since they opened years ago and wont be using again. appalling. Well I'm rather unsure where to actually begin with this review after a totally horrendous experience. Firstly the delivery time was over 120minutes. The quality of the food itself was outrageously bad. The chips were tough as old boots. The chicken (if it was even chicken) was disgusting, was undercooked and had a terrible smell. And the customer service from the staff on calling back to talk about our experience was absolutely shocking. Don't not order from this place you will be disgusted. Please beware guys don't put your family through the ordeal we suffered.

As far as instant take out needs for chicken are concerned, you can be sure of a decent meal consisting of chicken and chips. You may have to wait for 10 minutes as the establishment has to cope with local you youngster yobs and delivery demands, the food is decent, hot and tasty for the price you pay. Give it a try if you’re up for an easy take away meal for the family. Vegetarian and fish burger options are available.

I was absolutely appalled on receiving my food today, the chicken, hot wings and chips tasted stale like they were a day or two old. When calling up the restaurant to complain, the lady assured me that they freshly cooked the food before delivering. I can truthfully say that I have ordered from here many of times and the food has never tasted so bad. Later on in the evening and I’m feeling extremely unwell. Save your money and your stomachs and don’t get your food from here!

First of all I will start with the rediculas waiting time. 1 hour 40 minutes, to then be spoken to in a rude manor by the woman on the phone who what I can only describe as having monstereous attitude towards me. I called up after waiting 1 hour to pretty much be told tuff I’ve got to wait. Then after a further 15 minutes, I called again and she started to argue with me making me feel like it’s my fault. I then called after a further 10 minutes to be told it’s because of traffic.. the takeaway is 3 miles from my address! Google had a recommended time of 14 minutes..

I just bought some fries but they were freshly cooked,so cannot comment on the chicken etc..

honestly the food is pretty great, but dont rely on the delivery, go get it if you can. every time i have got a delivery it has either been rarely 30mins early, or more commonly 45mins to an hour late. which is a bit ridiculous. had to turn away at door twice, cause had to go out and didnt have time to eat it.

Me, my partner and friends all love Ramsgate Fried Chicken. We live around 5-6 miles away but will make the extra journey for the good quality food they provide. I also order in using a takeaway app and almost always the food still arrives nice and hot (a few years ago we had a late and cold delivery but has been fine since). It's a shame they don't list, or regularly have their grilled chicken, as it is so tasty. Whenever I see they have some in shop I get it. The chicken is very nicely seasoned, the chips aren't the usual type and have a nice crisp texture. Gravy could be better, it just seems to be normal supermarket style gravy. Overall you won't find better fried chicken in Thanet.
