Our favourite coffee shop in the area. Well supported by local people. Staff are always friendly and the coffee and cakes are always off a high standard. Wish them every success.

Best coffee and pasties I’ve ever had, a warm welcome every time either my self or I take somebody new. The owners and all the staff are very polite and always give you the time to ask how you are no matter how busy. Highly recommend.

It is an upmarket coffee shop. The coffee is good and well prepared and the cakes are really good. We had a special scone and an almond croissant. It's clearly well supported by regular locals. We found it high quality - with prices to match. A place, for us anyway, for a treat visit.

We called on Sunday morning and ordered two americanos. We must have waited 15-20 minutes before I enquired where our drinks were. Five minutes later they appeared. The coffee was very bitter and I could not drink mine. Probably won’t call again,

Called for coffee while on a walk through the town ,. Greeted by the guy behind the counter ,but the girl straight faced not a word not even a smile . But I did notice she comes to life when a regular comes in NOT THE WAY TO BE. And for that reason you have lost any future visits from me or my friends

Popped in for a swift beverage on a Tuesday lunchtime. I thought £3 was very reasonable for a decent hot chocolate. Pleasant and informal atmosphere, and polite, unfussy service. Hopefully this place will be a staple for a trip into Duffield.

Probably the best coffee I’ve ever had, the pastries are to die for, however I did not appreciate been shouted at across the room to ask to vacate the table as people were waiting. There were 3 spaces available and we were just about to order a second cup ( which we often do) also I was ready for cake. Not impressed

_Spectacular_ coffee, cakes & cookies. I can't exactly remember which cake I had but it included out-of-this-world speculoos spiced pastry. Nice space, cool pallet wood decor, lovely vibe & super friendly.

Stylish coffee shop, with great tasting coffee and we had a tasty Bakewell slice. Excellent service, the staff are very polite. Cool music playing in the background. Great overall experience! Later in the day, my partner realised he had left his wallet there…the owner found it and kept it safe for us to collect the following day. We will definitely be back.

Found the staff rather perfunctory and the tea was tasteless. You are also sitting on top of each other so don't think I will return.

Excellent coffee place, dedicated to high quality coffee. The inside decor is excellent, low key, modern but bordering on the rustic, typical of a lot of such places in London. "It's like being in Hampstead," said my wife, and she meant it as a compliment. The place was busy but not unpleasantly so. I've been here 3 times now and have been impressed with the coffee, the pastries and the service. This time, when I mentioned at the counter that my wife was struggling with the flavour of her Americano, I turned down the offer of a replacement but the owner came over with a lesser-strength version a few minutes later (a single shot, I think). This she enjoyed a lot. But this is really excellent customer care. The pasteis de nata (Portugese tart) I had w/ my coffee was very good, though not as good as the salted caramel affair I had first time I came here. That was truly amazing.

My wife and I are renting in Duffield and we try to support our local businesses. For the second time during our stay our morning walk had us today passing through the center of the village, Town Street, and as my sweet wife was getting a bit jittery (having skipped breakfast, never a good idea) we decided Sanchini's could provide some badly needed pastry therapy. It did not disappoint. We've each had different pastries on each visit so we've enjoyed 4 different baked delights now. Each has thoroughly pleased us, and we are eager to experience all those we haven't yet tried. Sue generally gets a flat white while I opt for a white Americano. The coffee is always excellent. The couple who own and run the business are unfailingly gracious, welcoming, and offer warm hospitality, which explains why the place is more full each time we've visited. Because who among us doesn't value the simple things presented exquisitely: superb coffee and pastries baked to perfection? Hmmm? Served up with grace, good humor and hearts for service? This is what we're all looking for, right? And if you need more reasons to visit and support this local business, don't we all want to get good value for money? You'll find it here. Don't we all want to support young people striving to earn a living the old fashioned way: by providing excellent goods and service at a reasonable price? You'll be pleased to find that here too. And don't we all want to do our bit to ensure the spirit of free enterprise is nurtured in our local communities? Of course we do. Stop by Sanchini's. Have a coffee and a lemon swirl dusted with lavender and you'll know that excellence is alive and well in Derbyshire.

Small but perfect little coffee shop. Our coffee was really nice and the roast onion muffin was really good. We also really liked the marmite & chive scone. Both well worth a try. The couple that run it were nice too! Will definitely return

What a fabulous new coffee house, very warm and friendly greeting from the staff, it is not a big place with seating inside and out. Great tasting strong cup of coffee and selection of pastries/cakes to choose from, well worth a visit.

I visit this café a couple of times a week for filled rolls or salads for a disabled friend of mine who is housebound. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I usually telephone and order in advance and the food is invariably ready on time. The staff are very friendly. I thoroughly recommend this café

Tried warning the restaurant that their current chef is a thief, who is currently on the run down there. Didn’t want to listen. Oh well. Play with fire, get ya fingers burnt 🤷🏻‍♂️

After having several ‘tasting menu’ experiences at various local restaurants this was by far the worst! Bright lights, no atmosphere, filthy carpet, no table linen, paper napkins, chipped crockery, dirty glasses, bland food, no-one bothered to explain courses or ask if they were enjoyed, limited wine choice and, to top it all, we were charged for something we didn’t have! Would not recommend at all, try The lighthouse at Boylestone for a proper tasting menu experience!
