1st class service, these guys saved us last night, we rocked up at the restaurant just before closing Time and was more than happy to make us a takeaway. They was a lifesaver as we had just come off holidays and had nothing to eat for hours

Pathia lacked flavour and the keema garlic nan was so salty and missing the garlic.

I had a curry delivered last night it was awful fried rice rock hard and the curry was more like a stew no taste just tatesless mush. Ive always had lovely currys from there but i wont be having another one.

Quick delivery paid 6 pound for a little square price of fish curry is thick an chips are hard don't give popadoms either the only thing what was okay was the salad

order delivery time kept being moved back and stating there had been a delay in my order when I ordered a few sides and a starter.

Ordered from here a few times but a little disappointed tonight. Curry was very bland and chicken was dry and slightly tough. Paid for extra meat but was a very tiny portion. Bit of a shame but definitely not worth the money.

Beautiful curry and mixed grill, flavourful, cooked well, arrived piping hot. Lovely naan breads, just moved into the area and after trying all the locals we’ve found our new favourite!

I've ordered from here before and even eaten inside the restaurant, and it's always been incredible. This time, however, most of the food was cold and watery as if it were some leftovers warm3d up in the microwave. The difference from what I'm used to from here to this monstrosity they delivered was like chalk and cheese, and it seriously put me off from ordering there again

Booked 8 adults and 2 children for my a 70th birthday meal. Service was excellent, food as usual was first class and served to table in a timely manner. No pressure even when some guests got stuck travelling from Bham. I cannot thank you enough for everything. Nothing is to much trouble.

For the 3 time in ordering we did not receive the salad or mint sauce that was supposed to accompany the king prawn tandoori plus no popadoms for the price of the king prawn dish I’m really disappointed in this and it’s not the first time

First and last time ordering from here. Food was bland. Order a samosa platter very poor value for money nearly £40 and most of it thrown away. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. My opinion

Very nice meal with friendly staff who offer advice if you're not sure which dish to order and explain how much heat is in each one.

Curry was ok , rice was watery and tasteless and naan wasn’t cooked was like eating dough.

Disappointed . Curry was bland with no flavour . It was a chilli masala with no chillis It’s a shame this place used to be a nice curry .

Great tasting Indian food at a reasonable price. The food is noticeably nicer when eating in the restaurant rather than when delivered. Staff are fantastic.

Amazing to find a dedicated vegan menu with such a large choice of starters, mains and sides. Brilliant!! My only gripe was the confusion over which site to order from online. The one from the printed menu seemed to work but nothing could be added to basket. Google suggested an alternative site and the online order link from there worked fine.

Used to be good, poor takeaway tonight. Won’t be ordering again. No sauce or popadoms, no salad. Really disappointed with tonight’s purchase. Tut tut Sanam.

Ordered two king prawn Balti and was very disappointed due to it being mostly sauce, also leaving a greasy taste in your mouth.

We ordered a takeaway from Sanam last friday and it was probably the worst we have ever had from anywhere. Order was wrong to start. We ordered egg fried rice and go two fried rices. We also ordered two chicken tikka mains and they both came with no salad / mint sauce. While they did send someone out with the missing bits, the chicken was so dry it was hard to physically swallow. The rice, while it looked nice, was tasteless. The rogan joh main looked like some no descript curry that was some tinned tomatoes thrown into it. The mint sauces was also pretty weird, thick and or some reason yellow in colours Considering the mistake with the order I would have expected a free bag of chips or a few poppadums. Truly awful experience.

All items was cold, had to reheat. Chips was undercooked.

Both myself and my partner had ordered a chicken dish but neither tasted like chicken. Very large chunks of meat .Possibly pork ! Strange.

First time ordering. Unfortunately driver dumped food on the drive and got back in his car, no I didn’t leave him waiting, I found this so rude and disrespectful in honesty. Rice and chips were barely warm but lovely. Real potato for chips, lovely surprise. Masala was amazing. Mushroom rice had just a few ultra thin slices in, not really mushroom fr. Will use again as masala was worth giving them another go

It was my first time here but my partner has been a few times the atmosphere is good friendly and very attentive if you take your own drinks you can drink them there as well I will be going back and would recommend to anyone

Been having a take away from here for quite a while, i always have a tandoori dish which i normally get mint yoghurt, onion salad and a popadom, tonight had none. Is this the norm now?

Very very nice food tonight for delivery, reason for 4 stars is the tikka masala sauce is a little bit bland and watery , needs more flavour but with the masala fries it wasn’t a major issue. Cheese naan was very nice, rice very nice flavoured and masala fries are to die for!!

The food and service were both excellent, would definitely recommend this place.

Had yet another family celebration here. Wonderful food, wonderful service as always.

Ordered an order of over £90 and we were all really disappointed. The curries tasted of nothing, naan breads were hard and chips were cold and stale. We ordered a masala without gee and none stated this on the package so they had to not eat it incase it contained it as it makes them violently ill.

Marvellous food and very tasty. I ordered Chicken Tikka Massala but got a slight alternative that contained Keema. Didn’t mind. It was excellent.

Lolvey and quite for the two of us in the back, lovley food we had the tawa combo and I wil be completely honest and say it's probably the best indian food I've eaten ever period. We changed a few things for milder Currys but regardless of that, the fish we had was so so nice I could of sat there all night eating more and more was so stunning I would recommend there fish to anyone. Thanks again sanam. Best indain in Cannock nothing more to be said.

Starters were very nice, delivery driver, exceptional. However, where this restaurant is letting themselves down is the main dishes. It was very bland like it was watered down. I’ve had tastier supermarket meals unfortunately.

The chicken Balti was really bland and watery. So bad it didn’t get eaten. Fries were poor, actual chips would be better from an Indian rather than fries. Won’t be ordering from there again.

Food barely warm due to ridiculously long delivery time (22 minutes after delivery time that was on Just Eat). Food nice once we heated it up.
