Unfortunately, my friend and I were made to feel very uncomfortable throughout our dining experience at Cicchetti Manchester. From the moment we walked in the door, we had staff members pointing at us, laughing and whispering to one another. As two 22 year old girls who were excited for their first visit to Manchester, this is not something we expected from a restaurant claiming to be ‘exceptional.’ We really enjoyed the food so to have our evening ruined by the staff was very disappointing. For this reason, we wouldn’t return.

Quite simply and without exaggeration, this was the best Italian meal we ever had. Authentic Italian, the food prep and taste was just perfect. We are from Toronto and have eaten Italian in NY, many places. The service was excellent and if we could have eaten the same meal twice we would have. The location is easy to find, the decor charming and server very polite. My husband and I will be going again before we leave for home and also going to go to one of their other locations, San Carlo in Alderley Edge.

Extremely busy restaurant. Extensive menu. Hard to decide what to order as all the food looked good. Went for the 6 Oysters and they were beautifully presented. Very nice indeed. All the food was very nice. Excellent service as well. Worth checking out if in Manchester..

Staff are pleasant and accommodating. Food fast Came on a dirty plate Kitchen looks dirty. The hot plate has a layer of grease facing the dinners. Chef not washing hands in between handling raw food and toast. Overpriced

Despite booking a table, we were made to wait 30 mins to be seated with very little communication as to why and how long we’d be waiting. Staff were openly admitting the restaurant was purposefully overbooked. No compensation was offered for the wait. Avoid this restaurant, as their management are clearly greedy and arrogant.

We had a friendly waitress ,, however £15 for 2 pieces of ravioli rather excessive ,, £15 for a 1/4 pizza ,,, ? Tasted nice but overpriced and had to ask twice for the bill and were ignored then asked for my coat twice and in the end we just got up . My coat was then handed to me very rudely by the head waiter ,,, like it was road kill Lots better service and value for money elsewhere which is where we should have gone !

This is a nice space inside Kendals with an extensive menu but I felt it was sadly lacking for vegetarians. The special risotto was off, the arancini had beef ragu in both would have been great if vegetarian. I had the avocado and tomato salad and at £8.50 was pretty horrified to see one tomato and 1/4 of an avocado in the very small bowl. The cheesy garlic bread was tasty as was the aubergine parmigiana but the roast potatoes at nearly £5 had about 11/2 small potato’s in there. With deserts at £8.50 - very tasty deserts - it just all felt very overpriced. Staff were lovely and service good.

A properly relaxed dining experience --- food fresh and tasty, staff unobtrusive but always available. And -- despite the plush interior -- relatively very reasonably priced. Excellent espresso too, which is a bit of an acid test for a proper Italian. You can easily bring in a bill for the same amount at some entirely forgettable high street chain restaurant. Been dining here on and off for 6-7 years and it never disappoints.

Lovely small plates, the gnocchi is to die for! The interior is classy and the atmosphere is great. Don’t forget to try their dessert platter to share!

Food was nice, service was fine. Certain drinks were very expensive- my husband ordered 2 glasses of Malbec, which came to an eye-watering £31! So £15.50 a glass. According to the staff when we questioned the bill, it just happened to be a particularly nice wine, although this wasn't really my husband's experience. My Pinot Grigio was £7 which I'd say is pretty standard. You have been warned!

My first visit here for several years but I won’t leave it so long until next time. Our service was excellent, food was good and ambience most enjoyable.

Both the food and service were exceptional. We ate Parmigiana, Ravioli, Sea Bass and Lamb chops - all beautifully cooked and delicious. Service was friendly, discrete and calm! A truly lovely meal and experience. Not cheap but very happy to pay for this quality of food and service.

I was travelling solo and had an unfriendly and unwelcoming vibe from when I walked in. Whilst I waited to be seated I wasn’t acknowledged by anyone. Staff behind the counter busied themselves with ignoring me before eventually asking if I had a booking. When I was shown to a table I was given the menu with no explanation - it was my first time in the restaurant. I wouldn’t have noticed except a couple who came in after me got a full explanation and attentive service. The burrata and fried zucchini were delicious, unfortunately the scallops were over cooked and swimming in grease with a chewy breadcrumb. The server let me know one item on the dessert menu was changed but didn’t tell me it was full of nuts, not great for anyone with allergies. Lovely decor in the restaurant but marred by the sadness of the toilets. I always judge a place on its loos and these were less than mediocre.

Cannot fault the staff, service or food here. We have been visiting since the restaurant first opened and have always had a great experience. Attention to detail always on point, fresh ingredients and good bar and food menu. Highly recommend a beautiful setting and overall lovely experience.

Very expensive and far from great. Food was mediocre at best, the fried mozzarella balls were the best bit (and not far off what mcdonalds will sell you for a third of the price). Don't know what was Italian about the breads or the tiny little cheap butter packets you get with it, it was rock hard and not even warm. Still unsure why an Italian gave me half a poppadom? The carbonara was OK. Cold and tasted a little similar to a tin of macaroni cheese. The pizza was essentially a pitta bread with some toppings thrown on. They then have the audacity to charge you 12.5% as a service charge for the very uninterested staff. Couldn't reccomend this place less I'm afraid and we won't be back to any of the san carlo chains. 1/5, must try harder.

Having eaten all across Italy and indeed Veneto and Venezia I struggle to see the menu here having any resemblance to actual cicchetti. MASSIVELY over priced for truly average food. Soggy calamari, 6 spicy prawns in a bland sauce for just short of a tenner....not spicy. Polpette average, maiale ok. These are not cicchetti dishes. Where is the baccala, the sardine in saor, the risi bisi, the polpo? An embarrassing menu cooked badly to appeal to the English masses served by oddly overly confident Italian staff that should be embarrassed by the offering here.

This is a nice restaurant attached to the House of Fraser store. It is centrally located. I went here for breakfast. It has lovely decor and has a relaxing atmosphere. It is not cheap but worth a visit for the ambience.

Went for dinner a couple of Sundays ago with some friends, although the restaurant wasn't busy we were sent to a have a drink at the bar. After 15min we were showed our table, it wasn't great to be honest, considering that they had plenty empty tables on the sofa, we were given one right by the shop entrance.Food was nicely prepared and very tasty, also the staff was polite, professional and friendly.Overall it's a nice tapas restaurant.Just one advice to the manager, don't force people to have a drink at the bar if they don't want to, as might ending up loosing guests this way.

I was told San Carlo Cicchetti at the House of Fraser had one of the best breakfasts in Manchester. I tried it. And it was Good. Everything was there (apart from fried bread) on a large oval plate. Delicious, well cooked ingredients can't say more than that. I've not been in at night to try the main menu but now I have tasted their food I will probably be visiting soon. Bizarrely, they brought my fresh orange in a tall glass full of ice with a straw. Didn't want ice and I'm not SIX! Plenty of other breakfast choices on the menu. Could just walk in without booking. It's a smart, modern, bright and very busy place overlooking the main San Carlos restaurant. Smart, posh looking people both eating and serving (seemed like a lot of business meeting going on). Service was excellent, the waiter was very helpful in setting up my tablet to use their free wi-fi. Highly recommended.

I stumbled upon San Carlo while googling restaurants to dine at on our last day in the city and I'm glad I did. It was a busy Sunday (the last one before Christmas) and we stopped for a late lunch. We started with the scamorza (I could have eaten this tasty morsel without sharing), then we had the tagliatelle with truffle and a rocket/parmesan salad. It wasn't a lot of food, but it was just right. The tagliatelle was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious. The service was excellent. My only regret is trying to figure out the tipping arrangement in England. I fear that I didn't leave one and feel badly about that!

I do like this place very much but today the service was terrible. The English waiter greeted us: "hello guys". He needs to learn to greet customers with respect The food came at different times and just dropped on the table. Unfortunately we will not come back. We will go to Carluccio's

Really can't fault this restaurant even though it is in a department store. We decided to have our Xmas night out here and what a delightful evening. Food was just perfect. We were in town for 2 weeks on work and came here twice. Plenty to choose from on the menu. They recommend 2-3 dishes each per person and 3 each was actually a lot of food. I enjoyed every one of the 6 dishes I tried over two visits and there was comprehensive coverage of the menu across that. Great place, great vibe. Very effusive and direct waiting staff, which I liked very much.

I came here alone for lunch and was seated promptly and thoughtfully by the head of house, on the bench rather than on a table on my own. Unfortunately the waiter and barman were not as friendly and made me feel uncomfortable. They were abrupt and did not engage at all.I ordered two dishes which were ample for lunch and with wine and coffee, the bill was just under £30. The menu choices were excellent and the food was tasty. If the waiters were more friendly and engaging, this would score excellent.

The food is so tasty and really good for sharing between a few people. The service was fast and efficient and all the staff were very friendly. It is not possible to book a table but there is a nice bar where you can enjoy a Prosecco whilst waiting for a table

Despite some negative reviews here, I've always found Cicchetti a great spot for coffe or lunch!We stopped by fo a coffee on a recent Manchester visit and no complaints!Great americano and flat white served quickly and with a smile! What more could you ask for?These reviews won't stop us continuing to go!

From the minute we walked through the door of this restaurant we realised our mistake and should have left right then. The staff were rude and dismissive and obviously wrote us off as low spenders for having the audacity to order only two plates (patronisingly asked if we were aware that the restaurant was based on tapas, hinting that we were expected to order more), and wine by the glass. This was a late (3.30) shoppers lunch for us, so it was adequate, and the restaurant is after all in a department store. It took ages to get the bill, even longer to get someone to come and take the payment. We asked a Maitre d' to take it eventually who without even acknowledging us clicked for a waiter - clearly we weren't 'Cheshire' enough to warrant making eye contact. We had to put our coats on and make for the door before a waiter instantly materialised to take our payment. It's a great shame, because the food was actually excellent, but wild horses wouldn't drag me to this restaurant again. It's exactly the kind of snobbish establishment I detest, and there are so many fabulous eating places in Manchester, why would I repeat this dismal experience?

I have been to a few other San Carlo/ Cicchetti restaurants and I have always been impressed, unfortunately can't say the same for this restaurant. In all fairness perhaps it wasn't so much the actual service but the vibe of the place. It felt more like we were in a bistro/glorified pub, no dress code, people dressed in jeans etc waiters shouting across the restaurants to each other, once meals were bought, shouting out the meals like you were at a cafe.... Once our meals were brought over I asked for a clean glass and the runner replied bluntly "please ask your waiter", perhaps I would have, if I knew who this person was...perhaps I just wanted a drink in a clean cup and he could have facilitated this.Food was ok, we had the cannellini and minestrone soup followed by some pasta which was fine, the soup itself was very good.Essentially, we have visited other restaurants belonging to this chain and always had excellent service in a polished and refined setting, that's what we expected when we visited this chain, sadly not what we received. Will avoid this particular location in future.

We were shown to a table and left there. We were not asked if we would like a drink or given menus. We waited for a while and then I caught a waiters eye and said "Could we have some menus please?" He glared at us and said "sorry?" It was as if we had asked him for something he had never heard of and it appeared to be a really big deal. A really really bad attitude. We were actually astounded. Meanwhile, another waiter was angrily talking to himself whilst working at a nearby till. We were told that they stopped serving breakfast at 11.30 and that lunch started at 12. I asked what there was available between 11.30 and 12 and was told that we could have a drink or something! They basically did not want to know - so we left and will never be back. Be assured that we will spread the word about our experience.

Cicchetti is an interesting place to eat. It's got a real buzz to it. The location, clientele and staff make it very entertaining , especially if you're a people watcher. You can while away a few hours and quite a bit of your bank balance just sat at the bar drinking wine and eating the delicious tapas on the menu. We stop by quite regularly and for the most part we really enjoy it. Our experience has always been positive - the food very good and swiftly delivered by attentive and cheerful staff. Will we go back? Definitely.

My husband and I visited with 2 other couples which was great We could order plenty to try on the menu. Portions are small a little bigger than tapas. We continued to order whilst eating and dishes kept on coming. We had lovely cocktails everything was delicious. Bill was pricey but we did order a lot of the menu and drank plenty of cocktails.

This has to be one of my favourite places to go to every time I visit Manchester it's not a complete trip without a stop here for lunch while shopping. The food is amazing, so fresh and high quality with excellent flavours, service is excellent. The concept for this restaurant needs recognition especially for those on a time frame.I'll be back and will continue to be until (although unlikely) I'm disappointed.

we met friends for drinks at Cicchetti in manchester who have never been before and it was everything we had told them it would be. We had to wait about 20 mins for the table but that would be normal as not booked and the service, table and food where excellent. Cant fault these guys always deliver and not a bad price either.

Went for a shopping day in Manchester and decided to pop in for a spot of lunch. I am a regular visitor to Manchester and enjoy eating out. We ordered three main meals which came, first the pizza, 15 mins later the lamb and it was a further 15 mins at least until the mussels arrived, which when they came were the wrong ones. The establishment showed no care for our dining experience and we will certainly not be revisiting the restaurant in the future and would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed to say the least

We couldn't go to Manchester & not come here for lunch. I had the calamari to start which was the biggest starter portion I have ever had! It was delicious. My sister had the Parma Ham & melon.We both had veal in breadcrumbs with French fries, French runner beans & spinach for our main courses. We finished off with a creme brûlée & the fresh fruit pavlova.The staff were very attentive & good at their jobs. We would recommend here to everyone!

Food not bad first visit, went to ladies toilets and appalled by how dirty they were. Ie: Not flushing,bins dirty and the sinks & top disgusting..

I wasn't sure I wanted to go here, as we'd always gone to the other San Carlo across the road - however I'm a convert and now much prefer this restaurant! It is like Italian tapas, you choose lots of small dishes that arrive as and when they are cooked - and the they were wonderful. The place was busy, full of atmosphere and a great place for lunch. The staff are attentive but not fawning (San Carlo across the road take note!) and the whole experience was great.

Went for dinner to escape the rain. On first impression we thought we were in for a lovely meal, decor was lovely and seemed to have a nice romantic atmosphere, but ended up quite disappointed. We were seated at a table next to two bins despite the restaurant being close to empty, which the staff carelessly threw used napkins in throughout the evening as if they were playing basketball and congratulating each other when they got one in. There was little communication between the staff as we were asked if we were ready to order immediately after we had sat down.Food was very average, the 'special' of gnocchi with truffle and cheese fondue was three lukewarm gnocchi on a plate with what tasted like a jar of cheese sauce mixed with mustard. We asked for the bill before the fourth plate arrived - three plates, a glass of wine and a bottle of sparkling water came to £30! Outrageously expensive for what it was. Very disappointing service and overpriced, average food from a place that seems to pride itself on being better than the average high street restaurant. Will not be returning.

We have been several times here and recommended to many people, as other people have said sometimes the service is hit and miss sometimes the staff insist on changing your plates in between courses which is superb but then other times you have to ask for fresh plates and this happens when they are not the busy.Having said all this it is still up there in my top 10. I crave their food so that's good enough for me far better than some other footballer owner Italians. They have cornered the market so PLEASE guys just drill it down with the service and u will bite you the best again .

~Arrived before 11.30 am, on Saturday morning and signalled to the head waiter that we needed a table for two. After some ineffective rushing about he sat us down at an empty table. Another waiter arrived with plates and cutlery and said he would get the lunch menu. We said we only wanted coffee. The head waiter returned and told us that breakfast service was about to finish but we could order from the breakfast menu, which he went to get us, if we were quick as he needed the table. We ordered coffee and wholemeal toast whilst he hovered. The coffee arrived and tasted very good, along with jam and butter. 15 minutes went by and we asked a waitress if she could check on our toast. She snapped back, without investigating, "its on its way" . After another five minutes we called over another head waiter and explained that we had ordered toast with our coffee and been told we needed to be quick, yet no toast had arrived. He called over the first head waiter who went to the kitchen to find the toast. The second waiter mumbled about the restaurant being busy, we pointed out that another table had arrived and been served a full English breakfast in the time we were waiting. Another waiter then arrived with a portion of white toast! To be told to be quick and then for it to take 20 minutes to serve toast is poor, however a better attitude from senior staff could have made this mistake unremarkable when in fact their attitude made a poor situation unforgettably worse.. Went to Harvey Nichols for lunch and Manchester House for afternoon tea, the experience at these two places was infinitely better.

Been 3/4 before had some super food here, this time did not get the chance, the service terrible, was welcomed inn ok sat at out table, order taken ok , then wine was given and water ok 10 minutes after our order my meal came and was just drop at the Side of the table and he walked away, , we sat there expecting my husband to come , nothing my husband called the wait her over asked. Went here for a spot of breakfast - one of the best full English breakfasts around. Not greasy, 2 and 2, black pudding, interesting little hash brown thing and toast. Add a cup of loose leaf tea or an orange juice and you still come in less than a Little Chef. Other breakfast options were nothing amazing but ok.

We have visited San Carlo Cicchetti a few times when we visit Manchester. We have been in the evening and for brunch and we will definitely visit again to try afternoon tea.To remind anyone who visits San Carlo Cicchetti is an Italian tapas restaurant so the food at dinner time arrives in tapas size. All food we have tried in the restaurant has been delicious and we have never had any complaints. The staff are always accommodating and polite and the wine menu is excellent. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is always full of people - because the food is so nice! The only critique is for bigger portions just because the food is divine. We recently had brunch at the restaurant and the big breakfast is the nicest breakfast I have ever had. The meat was great quality and the sausages were delicious. I have been told the pancakes for breakfast are very small so if you are wishing to try the pancakes I would order something else too!

Food here was absolutely amazing :) spoilt for choice on what to pick. The ribs are lovely, didn't get much meat on them but still very good. Prices were OK and staff were friendly. The resturant appeared lovely and clean and had a nice ambience. No complaints

I ordered the chicken wrapped in pancetta with a side dish of tomatoes, red onion and spinach, along with ravioli and another dish of cheeseballs. Watch out for the menu as it states in tiny writing and in brackets that the dishes are ‘medium and to share 5 /6 dishes’. Admittedly we chose 2 dishes each but with the price of £8 for the chicken we thought the portions would be OK. It didn’t actually state ‘tapas’ on the menu.The food came in a disjointed fashion and when we politely asked where the chicken was the waiter was rude and shrugged and said “it’s tapas – it comes whenever it’s ready”. If it is really food to share then how come they put the plates in front of the person that had ordered that dish? Very confusing.When my chicken arrived I had to check it was the dish I ordered, which the waitress confirmed it was. I have never seen anything so tiny in my life - about 4 pieces of tiny chicken on a skewer separated by a bit of onion. It was so disappointing and I think for £8 is disgusting. The ravioli had just two pieces of ravioli and was covered in chopped tomatoes. My side dish was just chopped tomatoes with nothing else really – where was the red onion and spinach? It wasn’t even tasty after all that. I was asked by a senior waiter if everything was OK. I pointed out the tiny portions and he said sorry and then another guy came over who was clearly the manager - he did apologise, however, it was very insincere and patronising and his attitude was that what we got was just how they serve it and that is that. I replied as politely as possible to him that it was “disappointing”. The only saving grace for this place was the lovely Polish waiter who brought the bill and had a chat with us about the weather and was just lovely and an asset to the restaurant.I can't remember the last time I went home after a meal out and started cooking! It’s laughable really but avoid this place unless you have money to waste – and are on a diet! :-)

Waited about 5 minutes at the door before even being acknowledged never mind shown a table, overall the food was nice but service was poor and as the waiters were constantly arguing amongst themselves (even while taking our order) and so the atmosphere wasn't very welcoming, don't really want to return

I've been a few times and each time I am never disappointed. We decided to try find the best breakfast in Manchester trying one each week. This is one of the best and at a great price. Definitely recommend.

My first visit to Cicchetti but certainly not my last. The whole experience of eating here was exciting and exhilarating. The staff were brilliant and very attentive. The atmosphere second to none. Food was to die for - so much choice. I really cannot wait to go back and take family and friends.

We visited San Carlo Cicchetti for breakfast last weekend. We've been several times before for both breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was quiet at 9am but people soon started to come in so it didn't feel empty or busy- just right. The breakfast was ok! Unfortunately that's as positive as I can be. The sausages were nice but we felt they were a bit undercooked. They skimp on the beans, the cheapest thing on the plate and yet the smallest portion I think I've ever been given. The toast is too ponsy! Small flimsy pieces. The service was passable. If u really needed something there was someone around but you aren't made to feel welcome or that your experience is of any consequence to them. I feel the staff need to remember that without customers they wouldn't have a job. I've loved this restaurant in the past- their deep fried calzone was to die for but I'll be giving Cicchetti a miss from now on.

The room is light and airy. Service, always excellent, and food very good too. I always go on mine, and my friends birthday's. Always happy with the meaL.

I went to San Carlos for a romantic Saturday night eating out but turned out to be a very poor choice. First thing I've noticed on my way in was that the restaurant decor looked really nice and stylish, which was good. But then I head to the bathroom to wash my hands where the toilets were looking disgusting like they had not be clean since a day ago. We ordered some plates and some wine with a waiter that barely spoke any English. I had read online that this was a small plate restaurant but the prices there for each plate were such that it didn't seem that it was for small plates. More precisely we ordered a ravioli dish for about £7-8 and what it came was a plate with 2 ravioli! And also a chicken dish for £7-8 and we ended up with a small skewer of tasteless chicken. Anws you get idea. Small portions, really expensive, not much better food than what you would buy from Tesco. And also it was taking for ever to get the attention of the waiters.

My friend and I went for a pre-theatre lunch. The restaurant claims to give a “new experience in eating “ when all it is doing is over charging for small portions of so called Tapas. The manager is arrogant and patronising. Admittedly the expensive bite-sized piece of fish was tasty, however the overall experience was poor and we will not be returning.

Had a business breakfast here. First time in this restaurant. The Full breakfast was fantastic. Location was open and airy and the staff were attentive. Good value for money. I would go again for breakfast

A very disappointing experience . We have been a number of times but not with these friends and none of us will be going again . We had to ask Twice for some water( 10 mins wait )and 3 times for our bottle of wine 15-20 mins from sitting down . The bread and olives arrived quite quickly whilst we chose our food .There seemed to be a lot of staff but some of them were only there to clear tables and not take orders etc. We know the routine but this time for four of us we had served to us in the following order ....pizza , rocket salad , sea bass came reasonably quickly then after a wait of a few minutes two plates of chips then a crab pasta , then a further wait and two plates of roast potatoes then after about 10 minutes a plate of chilli beef ...then when all the food eaten the last dish for my friend ...chilli prawns was served approx25 to 30 mins after the serving of the first plate .we complained at various intervals of course but they were not interested ...they asked on more than one occasion " have you been here before " as if it was our fault ....I don't know how you can be served 4 plates of potatoes but only one protein dish ( sea bass ) so by the time friends prawns arrived she had to eat them without salad ,bread or potatoes as these had already been eaten .....also we did order battered zucchini which didn't arrive ( but nor was it on the bill ) The maitre D ...if I could call him that ....was not really interested and although he gave us 4 drinks ? ...port ? and the coffee we would have preferred just better service .Having said all the the food we did have was very fresh and very good . Likewise the bottle of Merlot was excellent . We didn't have dessert but I know from earlier visits that they too are very good .Very disappointed ,especially as it was my friend's birthday ....so whilst the food is good the stressful occasion spoiled the meal for all of us . On leaving the Maitre d got my friends jacket for him but just thrust it at him as he marched past at speed .I have had experience of this Maitre D before and when he appeared ( MDs changed a few minutes after we sat down ) I said to my friends ..I wasn't keen as he was sharp and grumpy ......he was the same this time .There are plenty of other good restaurants with much better service .

We eat out very regularly, but this restaurant is without doubt always the highlight of the calender. We absolutely love the atmosphere at Chicchetti. the staff are second to none. Particularly enjoy it when Cesari and Claudio are working, nothing is too much trouble for them. you don't get this type of service in some so called top class restaurants. We always tend to sit at the bar to drink and then later we eat as and when we feel we need a bite. special mention too to Leonardo the pizza maker. I've never seen him without a smile on his face and its great to spend a few hours sat there seeing how a real restaurant functions. the food is always excellent, and although we are not mega foodies, some of the dishes we see appearing from the kitchen look absolutely magnificent. Great atmosphere, fabulous food and , in our opinion, the best staff we have ever experienced. they all without doubt , do everything they can to ensure the night is a special one.It's without doubt our favourite eatery in Manchester, and its far more personal than its big brother across the road (San Carlo).So keep it up guys, we will be down to see you again on Saturday evening. Looking forward to another fabulous evening.

Vi bestilte en kjøttrett med noe chilli. Smaken var helt magisk. Litt tapas-aktig restaurant der man heller bestiller mye forskjellig og deler på rettene. Litt treg service til tider.

Met a dear friend here for an evening meal on a Monday night. Not crowded and the service was wonderful. We selected starters and mains off the menu and shared. Things don't necessarily come in the order they should, which adds to the fun. Good wine, selected by our friend. Attentive service. Good food. This is a really good place to meet after work. We'd definitely go here again.

I ordered calamari fritta and it came overcooked and too much flour coating. I have eaten this before here and it has been excellent. I also ordered the lemon sole which was pan fried with asparagus and clams, this was again overcooked and mushy. A very disappointing lunch which is a shame as it normally is very good. I did ask if they had changed the recipe but I was told by a very unfriendly waiter that nothing had changed. I will go back but I will order pasta and salad.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was quite busy but we had our orders taken and were served in good time.The food was delicious, we ordered six dishes to share between the two of us. I particularly recommend the beef carpaccio & lobster risotto. We didn't order any pizzas although I wish we had as the table's next to ours looked great. The Rioja was great too. I would definitely return.

Bit disappointing if I'm honest. Lemons on the table was a puzzling touch. Dishes were small, few of them were very special. Not an unpleasant experience but not somewhere I'd rush back to.
