San Antonio in Lichfield

Had an absolutely fabulous meal Saturday night with my family celebrating my 70th birthday! The restaurant is lovely and the food, staff and service amazing ! Cannot rate this fabulous restaurant enough! Can’t wait for another visit !

Booked tonight for 8pm got there door locked staff inside ignoring us so went over road to pasha for Indian that was brilliant. never going back to that Italian

My first impression was of a glass fronted restaurant in a row of shops, and to be honest I thought it's not looking very authentic. Well how wrong was I. It's not huge inside I can't remember the exact number of tables but if you intend to visit then I would book in advance. From entering the restaurant we were met with a smile, seated and given our food and drink menus. The food being served look great and smelt amazing. And that's exactly what our meals were like. Well presented, extremely tasty. The service was excellent too. The Italian restaurant is an absolute Gem set in a row of shops an absolute must if you like Italian food.

They need to explain that you need to ask for chips as an extra, but when your paying £10 for a piece of chicken which seems expensive to not include chips and veg The place is clean and staff are friendly

Looks small from outside but inside, Beautiful food, fresh fish, friendly service and good value for money, can’t wait go back

We hd the pleasure of enjoying items from the 'Lunch' menu today. Everything was fantastic and Sylvia, manager (?), owner (?) not sure, was a delight to sit and chat with. I had the chicken breast pepe, which is a chicken breast in a peppercorn sauce, quiet nice and I would definitely order that again. I also enjoyed mushrooms with cream sauce, a real taste delight, and the side of spinach with garlic ... one word ... delizioso!!!

We went for our wedding anniversary tonight, and the food was superb, piping hot! We have been a few times before and never had a bad meal,there. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work, and they always have time for a chat!

Overpriced , poor quality , poor service , m&s Italian meals are miles better !! Very disappointed would not recommend to friends or family !!!

Friends treat , half a pint bottled beer over £3 , starter £10 give or take (cheap prawns) brochette burnt Bread !! Mains three chicken dishes all same sauce , one with peppercorns , two with tinned asparagus and mushrooms , fatty lamb chops !! Wine over £20 a bottle !! Sides £3.95 each .. total rip off not worth the money !!!!

This place has opened in the last few weeks, my friends have tried it and raved about it, so myself and my wife went tonight. Impressed or what. A little jewel, I am so chuffed that we have another great little restaurant on our doorstep. It is family run, the service is 1st class, the food is a delight and the wine list has a Chianti Reserva to die for. 1st class, I cannot speak more highly it was great to see local families out enjoying good cuisine and being served by lovely people. Well done guys, I will be back.
