Sammy's Kebab And Burger House in Swindon

Mam who cooks speaks broken English but really hard working man and lovely smile, the food isn't so bad, but need more staff and proper ordering system, silly young girl should just stop saying your order will be 15 minutes, and 35 minutes later it arrives, cold and barely edible and she has cheek to say thank you for waiting GTF if I knew proper tike to be served the crap I was given I would have walked away

Popped in for a fresh kebab meat was cooked to profection and the salad was fresh.brilliant food and service Came from Birmingham will eat there again if in the area .

Well will never come here again, food was cold, and had burnt taste to it, mayo was poor quality and salad was old stock, poor will not return.

Wanted to try for some time mainly because of good reviews, for me it was ok but nothing amazing like everyone raves about, it was an overload of meat and a little bit of bread, from a serving point of view massive but quality of Kebab not that great, quantity over Quality is never a good thing.

I'm from Southampton and was visiting my boyfriend this is his usual place so I ordered a chicken shish omg! It was amazing!! I have food allergies and fast food effects it but this was cooked amazing not fatty or oily and was delicious the staff were super friendly and helpful with my choice. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Swindon. If I could put 100 stars I would

Burnt Donner meat,and I mean burnt meat! they can't cook kebab meat and there a kebab shop!!!!! Gone downhill big time, will not be going back. F@cking rubbish!

Absolutely dismal. In all my life have I ever had such rubbish. £4.50 and it didn't even fill the tiny box it came in. Burnt and cold. Twice now so will never go back. Would rather go hungry than visit again. Shocking.

Have used sammy's for many years, reliably tasty, reliable value, reliable cleanliness. However for the 1st time tonight, very unhelpful, for the 1st time unable to provide allergy information which means if you have an allergy DO NOT VISIT if you have an allergy otherwise you will empty handed like me

Excellent late night food. Fast delivery. We where staying Hilton Garden Inn and the restraunt was closed. Fast and delicious delivery wraps. Will definatly order again.

The only place in Swindon, we will go to for decent munchings. Welcoming, fabulous staff, who are always up for a chat.

Stopped in here on the way to a night shift having driven by for years. Glad I did. Tried the chicken donner.... Never going to win a Michelin star but a fine example of a dirty chicken kebab. The salad was fresh and looked really good. The place looked good and clean and the lady serving was very friendly. What more can you ask for from a kebab shop.

Head and shoulders above any other mobile fast food places I’ve visited. Really friendly staff, spotlessly clean kitchen, fresh looking salads and meats, HUGE portions, and decent prices. I just wish I lived nearer so I could stumble there after a few pints.

Our favourite kebab place, so being Mothers Day decided to treat ourselves. Sorry, it was a disappointment. The garlic mayo wasn't as strong as normal and I could hardly taste the chilli sauce. Then to make things worse, they couldn't even be bothered to split the pitta bread. The point of having a pitta is so it can be split and then the filling be placed inside. Sorry, not happy.

My partner and I were passing through (in his hgv) and were looking for somewhere to grab something to eat. We both had a chicken shish and dinner meat kebab- it was really tasty and a huge portion. Good choice of fresh crisp salad too. The guy who served me was lovely too. Would definitely come back if we were in the area.

Popped in to order some children's food. The lady couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Left the order while waiting to fetch the adults order from the local Indian. Got back and all ready! It was cooked and presented lovely. Chips were also lovely. Recommended!

This used to be the best kebab place in Swindon now it's just a shadow of its former self. I made a telephone order and literally 15 seconds into the call I was told to "hurry up "as he was waiting to serve someone in the shop. I was told the food would be 20 mins so I drove up to the shop and went in. I had ordered a large chicken kebab with salad and chilli sauce. Also a large chicken kebab with salad but no chilli sauce. Also burger and chips. While I waited for the chicken to cook i noticed they were over cooking the burger so I asked if I could eat the burger now as I thought it would be black by the time they cooked the chicken. I ate the burger and it was like eating card board . Not hat I've ever eaten card board but I'm sure it would taste better than this burger. I collected my food paid the £18 and went home with the food. To my surprise there was no salad on one of the kebabs. Well that's what comes from telling your customers to hurry up after 15 seconds on the phone. Either I didn't explain the order correctly because of being told to hurry up or as I suspect based on the rest of my experience with the 2 young clowns in the shop they just couldn't be bothered with taking a telephone order. I was told Sammy's had gone down hill but I chose to ignore the negative comments about Sammy's . Now I know better won't be going back there again.

Great choice of kebab, chicken, dinner, shish and kofte. Burgers etc also available and meal deal options. Lovely fresh meat and salad. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble.

This place is excellent for food burgers,kebabs,chicken fries my favourite fast food restaurant very friendly staff and the food is top notch.

Great place, order a tasty kebab and 5 minutes later eating it, i had indigestion. Its not a real kebab unless you get indigestion, love it.

Ordered many times; the best Kebab shop in Swindon in my mind. Some good vans around but if you want to order for delivery. First choice everytime

Have been going there for years, never disappoint. Really good prices and the best burgers around! Should open another shop in the centre of town as would do really well at the weekends after nights out.

Wow what a surprise, I stopped off for lunch and had the chicken kebab with chips. All cooked fresh to order, it was spot on.... along with first class friendly service, what more could you want......will definitely eat there again.

Was passing through Swindon and wanted some thing tasty and fast . We spotted this Kebab house and thought we would try it , although this is not our usual thing to do .The place was spotless and the staff we friendly . I couldn't make my mind up what to have so I let the owner make me his choice which was lamb Kofta . So glad i had this . Will defiantly go there again .

Called for a order to be delivered was told 1hour wait he took my order then said he couldn't take a card payment..I cancelled..10mimtues later the boss rang back and said his staff was not trained to take cards he's sorry place my order food will be twenty mintues..45later food comes...freezing cold !

I Stopped off for lunch midweek.....I ordered a chicken kebab and chips, the food was cooked fresh to order and very tasty, the service was fast and friendly. Top nosh I'll definitely be back. :)
