Salut Coffee House in Blackpool

Found this little gem whilst on holiday in Blackpool. Just wow. Staff were super friendly, really helpful and lovely to chat to. The food is outstanding. Fresh, tasty and cooked to order. Very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Blackpool. 10/10. Superb.

Lovely little friendly cafe. Chatty atmosphere, full of local people. Cafe serves excellent range of cakes, can particularly recommend the apple pie and the fruit cake.

Felt compelled to add my review here after the rude 1 star customer comment. We were there that day & witnessed just how rude the couple were. They sat complaining before getting up & complaining very loudly before flouncing out very dramatically. They obviously felt very entitled because the cafe was full upstairs, downstairs & both gardens back & front with only 2 staff on. It's funny how we all managed to get a menu from rack opposite till ourselves, then go to till to order all by ourselves. There was a note on large blackboard above ice-cream stating clearly to order at the till. But apparently this didn't apply to them! Nobody else left, everyone ordered without instructions & everyone else was happy to wait a little longer seeing how busy it was. Food came fairly fast with apologies for any wait. What more is expected? Appalling to rant when it was your own fault for not getting off your bum like everyone else. Most of us look around & watch what others do when in a new place or go to till & ask but guess they needed instructions like at school, but after witnessing their childish behaviour it figures!!! My actual review is... Friendly accommodating staff & owner who go above & beyond to make sure you have everything you need or want to eat & drink. I had bariatric surgery in August 2022 so as I was recovering I had to go through different stages of food from liquid, pureed, mashed to solids. The staff at Salut blended my food & made sure I got the variety I craved. They even for a short time got in things they don't normally stock to ensure I wasn't left out of eating with friends & hubby. We became firm regulars pretty much from the start of our discovery of this quaint niche coffee house. The ambiance is second to none. It definitely is a place where you meet new friends every day. We chat to many new faces as well as catching up with all the regulars. It's a must do on anyone's bucket list but is highly recommended to be your new hang out...bring all your friends. Love the venue, love the staff, love the regulars, love the food & drink. 10 out of 10...my husband & I highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Also Dog friendly inside or in both gardens.

I have friends who are enthusiastic about Salut so thought I would try it with a visiting friend today. We went in and here was no one guiding us as to what to do. We sat at a table but it was completely bare with no menu or instructions. A lady sitting at another table told us someone would come to us. We sat and waited but no one did. We eventually decided we had better go somewhere else. As we were leaving someone finally said was everything alright but by that time my friend was out of the door. We went to another cafe where we were welcomed and told what to do as we entered.

I’ve been coming for years with friends and solo, and have never had a bad experience Incredibly friendly owners/staff, with great food/drink for good prices Can’t lose at salut.

I go here ALL the time. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Support me sitting and working here which helps me focus better than working at home. I always get so much more done and they keep me in supply of drinks, cans with ice or mochas. I love the toasties with soup shots and often just get the soup it is so good. They even let me take it away. The staff are lovely. Emma, Pete, Eleanor and Isis. The owners Pete and Donna are always friendly. Will continue to visit to do work, and also take my children for bubble waffle treats as rewards and also family lunches when relatives are visiting. Decor is lovely. WiFi is adequate to get work done. Beer garden is lovely, upstairs is comfortable. A great all round cafe. Great for meeting friends or getting stuff done. Presentation is always great too. I’m yet to try an afternoon tea but I’m always jealous when I see them going out.

A unique and fabulous venue. Staff are efficient whilst also being fun. Make a detour to Bispham Village and get to Salut.

I visit Bispham annually and have got into the habit of popping into SALUT for a take away or stay coffee. The coffee is lovely but it is the service that is outstanding - nothing is too much trouble, a really nice manner and a sort of place that puts you in a better mood than when you first came i. Very special and a big shout out to the staff - wish there were more like you!

We come here all the time. The children love the bubble waffles, I love the toasties and soup for lunch, the breakfast offers. The staff are so friendly. Emma is a delight. The owners are thoughtful and diligent. We just love it here. Great for taking a friend out for lunch, your child for a treat or your significant other for breakfast/lunch.

Lovely, I’ve come here a few times with friends and my partner, friendly owners who are always up for a chat, great food (incredible waffles) and the atmospheres is great, you can do work on your own or just catch up with whoever your with, the affordable prices are a bonus 10\10 spot

A wonderful place to come for coffee, breakfast, lunch. Amazing service by the most friendliest of people, Pete & Emma in particular. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. This place is truly a hidden gem and my husband and I love to visit at least 2x per week.

Best cafe around the service is super good, emma and Pete always deliver service with a smile 100% recommend :).

This really is a hidden gem of a coffee shop located within the heart of Bispham, just a few seconds walk from Bispham Village shops. Salut is elegantly decorated and has friendly, approachable staff who offer a dine in or takeaway service. Salut has an extensive selection of drinks ranging from freshly ground Barista coffee, hot chocolate, milkshakes, tea and the ‘speciality’ Flora tea. There is also a variety of milk choices available, whilst I adore the fact that my latte, can be made with skimmed milk and to my individual taste (weak!), my husband loves the Flora tea, watching as the flower from inside the packet, comes to life in his drink. Just like the drinks menu, there’s something for everyone on the food menu with my personal favourite being poached eggs on toast. I simply adore that the eggs aren’t served on the toast but at the side, meaning I don’t have soggy toast! For those with a sweet tooth, there’s a wonderful selection of cakes with staff more than happy to box them up to be taken home. Salut is the part of the ‘Chatty Cafe’ scheme, which means you’re never alone, sit at one of the designated ‘natter’ tables and staff/customers know you’re happy to chat and would welcome the social interaction. There’s also a ‘Suspended Coffee’ scheme in operation, simply buy an extra hot drink, the empty cup is placed on the board and is then ready for anyone who needs it. As well as the beautiful indoor seating area, there is a small seating area to the front in which to enjoy your refreshments and a larger terraced area to the rear which is licenced and enables customers to take full advantage of all the food and drink available. After saying all of the above, I think what I love the most and what makes Salut stand out from other Coffee House’s is the fact that everyone from owners/management to staff really care about everyone who comes through through the doors each and every day.

Popped in for a take away sandwich as parked in the public car park and it was a lunch on the go kind of day. There isn't an enormous choice, around 4 or 5 , pretty basic in fact according to the menu, with options like ham, chicken mayo etc. I opted for chicken mayo, and asked if they did take away soup too as it caught my eye that eating in you could opt for a small bowl of soup with your sandwich for another £1.25. The lady who served me said it was potato and leek and as I do like that I opted for a cup. The service was reasonably quick and I was given a choice of white or brown bread. The sandwich was ok, perhaps a little too much mayo for my liking but the bread was fresh and tasty. The soup which came with a spoon although I used the vessel as a cup, was piping hot and tasted as I imagined it would being home made, and it didn't disappoint. An enjoyable lunch on the whole, even if it was consumed on the go. The only disappointment being the VERY expensive price I paid, which has to be an all time high in the Bispham area and one that has left a somewhat bitter after taste. £7.50 is excessive for a take away soup and sandwich and although I have given a four star rating for above average food, the price paid leaves me somewhat reluctant to visit again.

Best coffee shop in the area and it sells several flavours of Wallings ice creams, what's not to like? Would recommend.

iv been in several times lately mainly because the coffee is so good the food looks excellent too .the surroundings are pleasant also nicely done out with a seated garden area at the rear with large umbrellas so you can sit out if its raining...

Here for my fiance's birthday x went in for brunch x I had avocado on toast with a poached egg and Tony had a bacon sandwich x absolutely delicious x highly recommend this place

Have been a few times now, cannot fault the service and quality of food and drinks. Super friendly staff, food and coffee to my taste and I’m fussy with coffee orders- lovely surroundings - have sat both inside a d out.

The best coffee house in the area. Very friendly staff. Wonderful atmosphere. Food freshly prepared, very tasty and I highly recommend. I hope more people will support this family run business and give it the support it deserves.

Best Coffee in the area. I love this coffee shop, with its funky, friendly atmosphere, freshly prepared breakfasts and snacks and they offer a great range of cakes, ice-creams and milkshakes. What's not to like? They are a really community focused business as well and...

Stayed at the neighbouring Premier Inn but didn’t fancy their breakfast, so tried here. The coffee was the best we’d had in some time and the bacon sandwiches were really tasty too. Would highly recommend.
