Salt & Vinegar Takeaway in Southampton

Loved it, but to my knowledge, it has closed without notice for months now... Does anyone know what happened and why? This was kinda my favorite restaurant...

These guys are not good. The food in not cooked in the the proper chippy fryer sitting in the front of the shop but out the back so you can't see what is going on . The chips were ok, 5/10 but the batter for the fish very substandard soggy and not cooked properly though and the fish was very small definitely not cod god knows what fish it is??

Nice experience. Very amazing foods, exactly my cuppa tea.

Ordered two fish and chips with mushy peas and the vegetable gyoza. The staff were extremely kind, and the portion sizes were very big. The cooking method needs to be changed slightly for the fish and chips (hotter oil maybe?) as they were still a little firm. Really love the place and the people though so I will return and hope for improvement!

Absolutely awful, ordered a vegetable chow mien, the oil it’s cooked in Is disgusting. The veg was huge and a rotten mini carrot. In the bin.

Amazing food, big portions and fresh. Friendly staff, will definitely buy from here again.
