Brilliant fish and chips also clean and tidy and as long friendly good value for money and cheap as chips and great service in the restaurant

It is a great chip shop I go in two times a week keep up the good work and good service and friendly bunch of people and loads of people come in to eat

Worst chip shop ever. Way too expensive. using cheap potatoes, not propper chip potatoes. tastless. I go to Superfry around the corner. much better and cheaper. Avoid Salt and vinegar.

Shock horror, these are not the best fish and chips! But they are the best value. If you want to pay £25 for two people and have lemon slices and rosemary, then this is not for you. If you want good honest valiue and great fish and chips, then i can highly recommend this restaurant. Fast friendly service, whats no to like? Well, if i was gonna moan, i would say its a shame they dont serve haddock!

While shopping in Rotherham, we decided to call in the Salt & Vinegar fish & chip shop, be it every time we call the food on offer is very good. We decided to eat in the restaurant section due to the weather outside raining, we had fish& chips, with peas, bread & butter with tea, which were excellent. The food is always good when we call, whether eating outside on the forms, or in the restaurant section.

Good little chippy in the middle of town. Good portions, freshly fried and not greasy. Not the best in town but still good.

Always like to eat here when shopping in Rotherham. Pensioners special great value and enough of it. Nice staff.

We like to call at the fish shop a least once a week, when we go shopping in Rotherham, buying the special offer of small fish & chips for £3 each. We like to sit outside on forms to eat the food, there is a inside area for eating take away meals, & also the fish n chip shop have a sit-down restaurant area. Well worth a visit.

We always call for fish n chips at the Salt n Vinegar fish chip shop / restaurant, nice to have them open & sit outside, be it there is the sitting area for anyone who likes a meal inside, really good fish & chips, they do a very good special of a small fish n chips, the size of the fish is better than some other fish shops normal fish, the special is £3 so a bargain. We normally call every Tuesday lunchtime, well worth the visit when shopping in Rotherham.

When in Rotherham town centre we like to visit a fish / chip shop, called Salt & Vinegar, they cook lovely fish & chips, along with other foods. The fish shop as a restaurant seating area, to which you receive waiter service, also they have a take away service, but provide a long bench seating in the take away area, also outside the fish shop there is seating, provided by the local council. The fish shop do special offer's, for example a small fish, with chips for £3, which is a bargain, the fish are a nice size, with plenty of chips, on Saturday 17th October, me & my wife, went to Rotherham shopping, & called at the fish shop for lunch, we had the small fish / chips for £3 each, to take away, sitting on the forms outside the fish shop, nothing nicer than sitting outside with fish & chips. Well worth a visit. !

Always call at this fish & chip restaurant when visiting Rotherham, whether sitting outside or dining inside, good quality fish & chips. They do specials in the dining area for pensioners, being fish, chips & peas, bread n butter, along with a good mug of tea, for £4.50p per person, regular fish, chips & peas etc for £5.50p, or extra large fish, chips & peas etc for £6.25p, very good value for money.
