Perfect place to enjoy a coffee & cake while your toddler/child play in the games corner. Cafe is located at the back of the Arts Centre,a former old church maintaining design inside which makes this a special place. Fresh food and also very convenient for any pre/post event in the Arts Centre.

Me encanta comer, beber y estar allí

There is so much to see and do in the arts centre, it is a lovely place to just drop by for a cuppa and a cake, watch a film, see a play, a band, some comedy, get some lunch or even pp in to see some of the fabulous art work

My four year old daughter won't walk past this place if it's open; we have to go in! A beautiful setting in an old church, you're surrounded by the original high ceilings and beautiful stained glass windows. There are regular "live lunches" where you can eat your lunch while live music is played from the stage, and there are usually brilliant art exhibitions too. Food and drink are good quality and reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful. The toilets are always clean and well maintained as well. My daughter mainly wants to visit because they have cupcakes that come with a little pot of sprinkles to decorate for yourself, and there's a box of children's toys to play with!

This isn't a review as such as we never got to eat there. On a trip to Salisbury we planned to eat here having checked the website. The opening times suited us and the menu looked great. It is a little out of the centre so once we were getting hungry we walked over there. However, the cafe was closed. When there is an event on the cafe closes because of noise. It doesn't say this on the website. So, we didn't get to try the food!

Beautiful setting in an old church with stunning stained glass windows in place to stream the multi-coloured lighting. I popped in on a warm sunny day and it was a cool and calm comparison. Lunch menu has a variety of sandwiches, baguettes and jacket potatoes. I had the bacon, brie and cranberry served on a warm white baguette - it was mouth watering and under £5. Drinks are classic café with tea, coffee and cans of soft drinks in the fridge. A restful and well worth a visit.

I've stopped by here a number of times, usually for a hot drink and a treat to keep me going if I'm busy in town. Homemade cheese scones, flapjacks and chocolate tiffin are all wickedly good. The atmosphere is ultra-relaxed, people have meetings over coffee, Mums with youngsters meet for lunch or a cuppa, there's plenty of space, the menu is affordable and everything is tasty and fresh. Can't beat it.

went here for catch up with friends and family - really nice. good food and reasonable prices. friendly, helpful staff. it was a wee bit cold so maybe put heating on higher?!? it's good because there's lots of space and you don't feel penned in on all sides.

One Saturday we walked by and saw the doors open and walked in - to find a live music performance being offered as free accompaniment to lunch-time food and drink. A really attractive venue with a wide variety of offerings, it's well worth a look.

What a beautiful venue! This is a deconsecrated church so has fantastic acoustics. This was my main reason for choosing this venue over others and it was a great choice. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the pre-gig meal was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the gig here and will definitely go back in the future, if there's a gig there that I would like to see, even though it's hundreds of miles from me.

Went here for lunch, but I'm unlikely to go again. The soup was only just warm and in the draughty surroundings it quickly went cold. No decaf latte or cappuccino available either. On the plus side they do offer gluten free bread with the soup. I couldn't see any gluten free cake though. Service was slow at the counter as only one person working it. If a menu was visible at the beginning of the counter one could have decided what to eat before getting to the front.

Live Lunch Sunday 1200-1400. If your fed-up with your usual Sunday roast then this is the venue for something a little different. The music was awesome, The Paper Trains, they played and sang lively and fun songs throughout the meal. The food was simple, presented well and delicious...And a fair price!

This place introduced me to the delights of the tuna melt! One of the yummiest lunches I've had with delish cajun coleslaw (never normally touch the stuff) - so big I couldn't finish (unheard of for me!) The waitress was really helpful and changed my filter coffee for a cafetiere at no charge when I discovered cafetiere was available and apologised for not having given me a choice. Never had service like that in my home town lol! I'm definitely going back and recommending to friends. Seemed like a really cool place and good to bring kids to as they had lots of toys to play with. Lovely gift shop but they need to invest in a better payment system. All in all a little gem!

Lovely cafe with large selection of cakes, sandwiches and decent coffee. we stopped here to refuel whilst riding King Alfred's Way. Friendly staff, clean toilets, sensible Covid precautions and next door to a little Nisa shop for anything else you need

Stopped on a trip from Cinderford to Romsey , have driven past many times but never had time to stop, husband and son had ‘small ‘ breakfast and I had toast and jam, the breakfast was a great size, quickly served and tasted great, really good value for money . Toilets and rest of premises are really clean and can’t wait to visit again

Food was lovely, my boyfriend and I haven’t enjoyed a meal as much as that in a while. Food and drinks are low price, especially considering the portion size. Service was good; they were fast and they made sure everything was okay. Definitely coming back☺️
