Met a friend here for lunch on a Wednesday and ordered the jacket potatoes. Sadly I couldn’t eat mine as it was too hard. I went to get coffees and I told the young girl on the counter. She said ‘oh I’m sorry about that’. That was it! Nobody came to check my uncooked spud or offer a replacement. I’m not impressed. It’s a really nice cafe with lovely coffee and friendly staff but it was busy and thus quite noisy. Plus we had a very shrill dog barking just behind us so overall, not the best experience.

Loved this place and will be returning in the future. Super busy when we arrived shortly after opening and the queue to get served was long, however our drinks and food arrived promptly and was a delight as well. Only slight niggle is it could've been hotter but I'm sure on a different day it would've been perfect. Service was great and the team were constantly floating around making sure tables were clean, tidy and ready for use. Whilst still finding time to be very helpful and answer any questions. The seated area outside is one of a kind, although we didn't use it due to it being a little cold and we had an 18 month old with us but look forward to having a seat there on our next visit. We had the large breakfasts x 2 and 2 coffees. Plenty of choice and food on the plates and the coffees were perfect. Even the cups used were lovely and help tie the experience altogether. Thoroughly recommended experiencing this place and we will be back again.

3 times I have tried to eat here and have failed on 2 of these occasions, first time I came for breakfast and was turned away at 11.30 am as it was apparently too busy, even though there were multiiple empty tables, eventually after a conversation allowed in for cake and coffee only. 5 minutes later the next arrivals had full breakfasts. Second time again turned away as to busy same scenario although this time no backing down. Finally today even though online states open till 3.30pm at 2.45pm turned away as apparently closed. Not a great way to run a business.

Thought we'd give this a try, had a full English, produce used was ok but was really poorly cooked, most of it was cold. It took ages to arrive as well. Wouldn't return personally as there are so many good places in Norwich and surrounding areas for a breakfast. May have been a staffing issue but other places seem to manage just fine.

Very good food, large portions, but not very clean. Even pots and glasses were filthy, many tables just waited to be cleared and cleaned. Spoilt a bit the overall impression.

So the workers there are clearly passionate and were all full of smiles. The food... I go to a different cafe once a week to see which is the best in norfolk... so far I have to say this is 1st place! The only thing which was disappointing was the sheer wait for not only to order the food but for it to come out! And also I'd recommend having like a kids activity pack to keep the kiddies occupied!

We just had baps which were quite nice. Staff were lovely and helpful, the only let down was I asked for tea for 2 and we got a large teapot but was only just half filled we only got 1 cup each. There was unfortunately a lot of wasps flying about, the lovely young man that took us to the table did tell us about it and apologised.

We stopped here for breakfast just after opening following a tiring dog walk on the hottest day of the year. There was plenty of space in the car park but I'd imagine it might be busy at lunch time. The shop has local produce and art downstairs and the cafe is upstairs. There are stairs both inside and outside round the back, but a lift is also provided. Dogs are welcome and have their own menu including sausage, eggs, bacon and ice cream. We ordered 2 vegan breakfasts, some bacon for the dog and 2 cold drinks which came to around £30. We sat outside on a very comfortable and shaded terrace overlooking a small campsite and orchard. Staff were very friendly and efficient and our food arrived really quickly. All food was thoroughly enjoyed, especially the bacon! Would definitely recommend.

Having seen photos we went for brunch, the staff were amazing, the place was lovely but sadly that's the best part. Two of possibly the worst but most expensive cooked breakfasts we've ever had. The sausages are good but everything else was overcooked and dried up. The bacon and toast were inedible, I didn't even insult our dog by offering them to her. A large soggy tepid field mushroom, crumbling black pudding and greasy hashbrowns. A very sad state of affairs.

Not a great first impression! Greeted at the top of stairs and asked if we wanted to sit Indoors or outside. We opted for outside and were told to take a seat and order when ready nothing else.. my boyfriend went in to order for us and returned a while later (was ignored at the counter for a while) saying they had no baps available! Could have been told this when being greeted. I then went back in to order another option. Returned to the table where our food arrived shortly after but while tucking in I watched a member of staff walk across with two breakfast Baps for the table next to us… A member of staff told me she was sorry apparently they didn’t have any Baps but they’d gone down stairs and brought some… glad the customers who ordered 30 seconds after us were more important to receive this treatment. Maybe should have brought them first thing or at least tell staff to advise customers. Doesn’t seem overly fair to me!! The place is in a nice setting and food was ok. Not sure I’d rush back :(

A delightful place to eat. Ordered Jacket potatoes. They were piping hot , soft & buttery & had plenty of filling. We chose Chicken & bacon.. delicious. The side salad has a very tasty dressing too. We had tea for two & the teapot was huge & came with mugs. You definitely get value for money ! You can choose to sit on the veranda overlooking woodland or inside. Although inside of a big barn , with low music playing in background, the place didn’t echo. Service was fabulous from start to end. We will definitely be back.

Really friendly place with good accessibility. The balcony area is lovely with good views and is covered. We were greeted in some way by every member of staff we came across. The cakes were tasty and the meal we had on our last visit was delicious. It can get noisy when indoors if full due to echoing structure so if you don't like a lot of noise don't go at peak times. Would thoroughly recommend and we will be returning.

Disappointing. Food was cold/tepid. For the price I would expect a choice of toast not just inedibly hard cold white processed loaf. Although the views are pleasant the cafe itself is noisy and echoes like a school dinner hall. The fact you have to order your food at the counter doesn't help.

This is the second time I visited the ‘Farmers Market’ and Cafe. Both of which were ‘good’. The cafe has some fundamental staffing issues, felt on both visits. The fact you are so busy is fantastic, but it feels as though you need to half in size and learn to look after customers before expanding when you are ready. On arrival, several tables of four were available, but we shared the waiting area instead for 5 minutes with two other couples awaiting a table of two to become available, this despite having a baby with us and requiring a high chair and larger table. Once seated, we established (by ourselves) that the food was to be ordered at the central bar, in joining our second queue, we ordered and returned to our table. Really quickly a good quality plate of sausage, eggs, bacon etc arrived at the table next door, after watching the food disappear back to the kitchen we all established this was our food, this despite ordering with a table number. The food returned and tasted great. Half way through the meal our patience for the drinks was wearing thin and so we returned to the bar to discover our hot drinks order had been lost and so we had to return to our table empty handed to await the drinks, which eventually came and once again were good quality. During our wait times we saw three tables receive the wrong order, two tables have to request their missing drinks and also a table stand up to order whilst gone another guest being seated at their table by mistake. From the host at the top of the stair to the waiting staff, there is a distinct lack of any organisation here, everyone looks and feels overwhelmed. If you can get past this though, the food is great, this review stands for both visits 👍

Had to try this fairly new place for a breakfast as I do like a good breakfast. Only 3 stars from me as I ordered the large full breakfast at £13.95. Plus £2.95 for a pot of tea . High prices I think but as long as it is very good I'm happy to pay. Unfortunately it was not. We visited on a Friday and was very busy. Just be aware the breakfast are not cooked to order except the eggs and are cooked en mass for any busy period and kept warm . Hence bacon was rock hard, 2 mediocre sausages absolutely cremated, awful black pudding etc. Yes I sent the sausages back and asked for freshly cooked bacon too. So very poor value and I won't be back. If you want freshly cooked breakfast at the same price there are other better places to visit. If you want value for money and better quality ingredients go to Sunny side up at Hall Road. Far better.

I ordered the Greenhouse breakfast (£11.95) and my friend had the Big Barn breakfast ( £13.95). My friend also had a tiny pot of tea for one. (£2.95). We found the food to be of very poor value and overcooked. The avocado was turning brown, and the SINGLE mushroom/ tomato on my friend's plate was tiny. The bacon and sausages were hard, and the beans were dry. A piece of shell was found in my friend's fried eggs. It was supposed to be a 'birthday treat' for my friend. The place also felt cold, and we kept our coats on throughout the meal. Is there no heating? It was the first time that we had visited and were extremely disappointed. Maybe it was an 'off day' as the staff did not appear too friendly or approachable either? I didn't want to spoil my friend's day by complaining at the time, but for nearly £30, we were expecting an edible and better quality breakfast!

Do not Moor here, owner is the rudest lady I have encountered for some time, considering we were customers to her business. We had our 2 pugs with us off lead (but well controlled) as we had not seen any signs to disallow this (we looked afterwards and they were along the river not near where we had not moored) The lady shouted at us for this, we apologised and put them on leads immediately. She continued to shout, repeating herself and accused us of being in 'her back yard' even though we were standing by the shop entrance. No wonder place is for sale!
