Amazing as usual - decided to try some of the cold sushi mix boxes this time rather than the usual hot food that I order, and even they were top notch - not only the taste but the presentation of the food in the box too. The driver was very polite and friendly. Always good to have sushi with a variety of world drinks to choose from, including alcohol.

I feel like I was ripped off by a sushi restaurant whose owner even wasn’t Japanese. So please never trust a restaurant like that.

I got a text saying the food had been dispatched, it arrived 25 minutes after the app said it would. Resulting in the food being cold

the rice was completely unseasoned and bland, and some grains of rice in my sushi were uncooked and hard. the Korean chicken and gyoza were great, the sushi was honestly really gross as a result of what I mentioned above.

Delivery was late, food was luke warm. I have a sign on the front door and put on the delivery notes to come to the back. Driver came to the front and by the time I got around was getting back in his car. Had to shout after him to get my food. Actual food was delicious and buy again based on the quality, probably not for delivery though. Such a shame it wasn’t hot!

The best Japanese restaurant in town.

Wow - what a fantastic restaurant and apparently the first Japanese sushi restaurant in the City - I would guess it it probably number 1 for quality and range of foods. Loved the amount of vegan on the menu which meant no hassle for me and my partner and I then just totally indulged with a range of foods from the carousel and table service. All the food was so fresh and the serving team were great - even though the place was quite busy.

My fiancè and I absolutely loved our dinner at Sakushi! Great selection of food and sushi. The vegetarian menu is separate and clearly labeled. We will be stopping by again!

Ramen was missing ingredients and prawns were not cleaned- could see the bad stuff Bao buns were good

Needless to say that the food is always brilliant from here - and they are one of the only places near me who deliver alcohol.

I tried the tempura aubergine. It was very good. Light, crispy batter not too thick with a steamed slice of aubergine in the centre. I have been to Tokyo and eaten in a 2 Michelin Star restaurant that focused only on tempura. I was surprised to find that I enjoyed the version of tempura aubergine in Sheffield more !

The order was delayed twice resulting in cold food which was sub par at best, the delivery driver didn't come to the door he just sat in his car on his phone and made us come out to him. The experience as a whole was abysmal and for the price point of the food I expect A LOT better. I don't think I will be ordering from this establishment again. Absolutely shocking and utterly appalling.

The staff are really friendly, I came with my boyfriend and we ended up staying 30 minutes after closing time. As we came quite late there wasn’t much on the conveyor belt so we decide to order beef udon and pork Raman. These were nice, the beef udon >>>> pork Raman. We also go a pikajuice mocktail and a PJ martini mocktail. They okay but tasted like melted ice lollies and you didn’t even get much from the PJ martini. It needs to be diluted as it was way too sweet. We didn’t pick up anything from the conveyor belt as we realised it’s way too easy to pick up what you see and the price of your meal will build without being able to comprehend the amount you spend. Other than that it was a nice meal and the staff was accommodating to our allergy.

Value for money non-existent. “Sushi” with bland fish, rice so cooked it’s cement, all of that has excessive prices. I absolutely do not recommend.

wow!!… this was incredible. I ordered two different bao buns and the rice teriyaki chicken don, which is always my go to at wagamamas but this was much more flavourful. The katsu chicken bao bun was so juice, not a dry bit of chicken in sight. Will 100% re order from here and recommend to others!! Amazing service in every way!!

Ok we only have 13 of 14 items we've ordered. As the food was far from we have expected it's har to say wat was missing. I think It was California rolls. £137 order really disappointed. Really....

The Ramen was kinda bland and does not have a genuine rich broth that you would see cooked for hours. The Korean Chicken was full of Sesame oil and soi sauce. The only great think was the plain fried chicken pieces that was in the ramen. Totally not worth £26. First time and last time

Absolutely gorgeous food. Have ordered previously but wasn’t sure they would deliver to my new address is Chapeltown, was so happy when I realised they did!!

We had booked a table, when we arrived we asked for a booth, we were told no as it takes too long to clean, even though we said we could wait we were told no. Then 5 minutes later a couple arrived that had not booked and they were given a booth. The service was ok although it was a little slow as she was mainly on her own and busy. The sushi was very plain and tasteless. We ordered some food from the kitchen, the poke bowl was good but the gyoza was greasy and inedible and the squid was also too greasy Overall the sushi was low quality and over priced

Placed our delivery this is our 2nd time ordering. We tried something different with this order! What a huge disappointment! Food was awfull. Starters cold & bland. Main course so salty it couldn’t be eaten!

The ramen was cold and the soup was bland……A disgrace to Japanese cuisine, and it is overpriced!!!! About £17 for a bowl of subpar ramen!!!!Wouldn’t recommend for anyone

The service was friendly and the waiter did a good job. We ordered duck donburi. It is advertised as shredded duck. It was large chunks of overcooked fried duck with lots of fat on. The vegetables served were minimal. The rice was overcooked sushi rice which was very hard to eat. A simple wagamamas would have been better and cheaper. It wasn’t as advertised, and it was objectively badly prepared food. The gyozas were ok.

Some sauce had spilt into the bag, therefore asked for a little compensation. Ended up getting compensation for my whole meal and more, including the wine I ordered.

Thanks to the lovely guy who was serving me he was nice and welcoming 🙏🏻 I had kinoko Udon ramen in a large bowl 🍜 for the first time so i have nothing to compare it with but I enjoyed it 🍲 The interior of the place is just not the vibe I enjoy all black and red.

Asked for Dr Pepper but was given Ginger Beer instead. And delivery was late. Otherwise food quality is excellent. The best Japanese food I’ve eaten in the UK so far - and this is feedback from someone who visits fine dining restaurants in and around London regularly.

The driver was a bit rude, didn’t ring the doorbell and just meant that we needed to sort our number out. Phone number is working and the house has it’s number one it. The food was good. We hoped for more veggies and sauce ratio to amount of rice. Rice/Meat/Dragon fruit portion was good.

Driver “couldn’t find address” went to wrong house. Arrived late. When I came out from my house to find the driver he became abusive saying he had knocked three times. How he was knocking when claiming not to be able to find my address is clearly contradictory. Noodles were ok, sushi plate was VERY small and very expensive. I don’t like leaving bad reviews as I know it’s difficult running a business but I’ll not order again.

Beautiful food, restaurant quality not your normal takeaway. Smashing sushi, fresh and clean just how it should be. Be warned though, if you order the chilli miso Raman, get the ice cream ready for after. It’s beautifully hot & spicy….

One of the best Japanese restaurants I have eaten from.

Food was at least 30 mins late. Unexpected from a restaurant that has won an award. Get your act together otherwise I will never order from you again, and spread the news that you do not deliver on time.

For the price the Katsu curry was very bland in flavour and quiet flat. Also came with shredded cucumber not mentioned on the menu (which I can't eat). Sushi rice was nicely seasoned and sushi overall was quiet nice though.

Everything here is great and i couldn't possibly complain but i feel like as a Japanese restaurant there could be more vegetarian dishes, im not vegetarian myself but i do enjoy them every so often.

Have been disappointed on my last few orders. Beef used to be without fat and properly slow cooked. now it’s just chewy and with so much fat still left on. I pay for extra and feel as if I was given all the dodgy pieces.

Came here for a friends birthday. On arrival was a little dubious as it appeared empty on a Friday evening. Inside was very dark and lacking atmosphere. I also found the menu a little overwhelming very colourful but a lot to read through. On the other hand the food was good. Would I go again? Honest answer I don’t know.

Last time i ordered the miso itself had no flavour. All over times it has been amazing though.

Absolutely atrocious 2 orders in a row now have been late and cold, this second order was missing items as well I am appalled. I have requested refunds for both orders and still have not heard anything back yet this customer service is abysmal

We were only told that they couldnt serve rice based meals (like 50% of their menu) until after we had ordered and received our drinks. Which meant at this point we felt like we were unable to leave. Had we been told before we might have chosen a different place. The only other veggie option I liked the sound of was the yasai sweet teriyaki noodles. At £15 you think you are going to get good food, but it had no flavour, just noodles and stir fried vegetables. The tofu was soggy (I dont know if it was meant to be or not). I left half as it was not enjoyable to eat. The sushi is fantastic though and they gave us 10% off without asking for no rice being available.

We ordered a delivery which included gyozos, bao buns and a 30 piece sushi platter. It was delivered on time and the food was absolutely lovely leading to a perfect Saturday evening meal in my favourite place….home!

We got the sushi platter number 4, the Eel dish, the spicy beef, The chicken katsu. The food was good but not the best in my opinion. I really wasn’t amazed by the food but it was edible and decent. The atmosphere of the place is cozy with some music in the background but doesn’t get too loud. The service was just okay. I really don’t have much to say about this place because it was a very mid experience.

First time eating here and all I can say is: Oh. My. God. The food was beautiful, the portion size was perfect, the flavours were spot on. The staff that greeted us and took our order was polite, helpful and very well mannered. We'll definitely be coming back very soon!

Items missing from order and delivery guy didnt read the notes at all, i have covid and requested he knock at the back door then leave the food on the doorstep (and wrote it about 8 times so it couldn't be missed), instead he knocked at the wrong door then proceeded to bash on the right door as hard as he could until i had to open my door as risk giving him covid. Food was ok albeit, pretty plain but also way way overpriced for what you get.

On my first ever order (a delivery) the food was incredibly late but still fresh, and I received a call letting me know I'd get a full refund (from the reasturant directly, not just eat). That set it for me that I'd come back. Many lovely visits later, I still highly recommend this place. A little on the pricey side for food in the area, but worth it.

Delicious as always! Had the Osaka Poke Bowl, salmon avocado roll and lychee Bellinis, all really tasty, fresh and yummy! Good music, good atmosphere.

On an absolute session with the lads and it started off in the best fashion with a taste of Japan at Sakushi. Closest I’ve been to Japan was when I met Junichi Inamoto at a football game. Sitting on the tram on the way into town, I was that hungry my vision was starting to blur. After a few Asahis, we were served with Bao Buns, Gyozas and Yaki bowls. It was as if the meal was served in Milton Keynes Bowl, and the noodle crowd was going crazy at the chashu pork headlining act. The only downside was that I accidentally pressed the 20% tip instead of 10% so I’ll have to go to Aldi for me food shop tomorrow. All in all, a cracking meal and you’d be silly to miss this.
