Love love love it here, try to come at least twice a month, never had a bad meal, and the portion sizes are great, especially when the prices are so low

This is a lovely Chinese restaurant that offers dine in and take out services. The food was really tasty. I had the noodles with beef and shrimps and my partner had the ramen noodles which was fantastic as well. They also offer sushi which seem to be a popular choice among other clients we met at the restaurant. The restaurant has its name from its revolving sushi bar which is aesthetically pleasing to the sushi lovers. The portions were really good and it was value for money. Customer experience was great, our server was polite and helped with recommendations. The restaurant also accepts reservations as the space is not very large. By the influx of delivery bikes outside the building, one can tell the restaurant is really popular. It's a nice place for a date, friends and office hangout.

Food was great, we went as a family food. Breast feeding friendly. There’s no baby changing facility’s but there is a toilet. There’s a lot of vegetarian and vegan options and a revolving sushi bar. We had a veggie mock chicken bento and miso soups, pork don and pumpkin croquets and agadeshi tofu, green tea, ice tea and my partner had a kirin beer. We could not fault the servers or chefs the device was friendly and fast.

One of my absolute favourites in Sheffield. I can never get enough of their food and will forever recommend this place! The food comes out so so quick as well and the service is super kind. Must try in Sheffield!!

The only downside is the door being constantly open for just eat. Was cold when we went, they all kept leaving it open. So don't sit by the door! The food is great...

Amazing find. We were hungry and saw a bunch of deliveroo riders in this place which immediately told us it must be good. And it was. Huge portions, great taste.

A great value fast food location its all made fresh but really quickly the atmosphere isn’t really one to sit and chat the staff can rush you sometimes or appear a bit rude/abrupt but if you get takeaway thats usually better but does cost a bit more sometimes theres lots of choice and big portions especially the bento box, noodles and ramen and donburi katsu curry too i haven’t had a bad meal here and will carry on coming back thanks

Delicious freshly prepared meals. Unfortunately too much going on in the restaurant with takeaway delivery drivers constantly popping in and out, take out meal bags are everywhere, spoils the atmosphere. If you don't mind all that then a great place to enjoy Mr Miyagi's sushi.

The food was absolutely amazing. I can’t fault it, the food came out fast. Brilliant service from Manny, and the atmosphere was perfect. Manny checked on us and even talked through menu. Tried as much as we could between two people. My only complaint is I wish I could have more in one sitting! The prices were very very reasonable, the portion sizes huge. And the chicken is halal, which is always a bonus. Can’t believe I’ve overlooked this place while being in Sheffield for almost 20 years. Brilliant food and will be coming back without a doubt.

Day off with my young son, he loves noodles so when he saw this restaurant he wanted to have lunch here - his choice. He spotted Katsu curry on the lunch menu, never had it before so we both had it. Wow! Delicious. My son gives this 5 stars, and i couldnt argue on the food alone. Service was also great. Will definitely be back again!

Unreal food and made to order! Had a lot of sushi from lots of places and this place still is one of the best!

Lovely, busy little eatery with a great choice of freshly made food. Had sashimi, maki, 3 different kinds of roll, yakitori octopus, tempura prawns, gyozo and more. Each and every dish was excellent. Decor, lighting, seating etc all very basic, but clean and tidy. Attentive and helpful service, will definitely return.

Probs my favourite place to eat. The portions are yuuuuuge. So much variety as well. Chicken Kimchi Fried rice is my go-to. They do a mean ramen as well.

Best place for having a good meal in Sheffield. The portion sizes are big and the prices aren't bad and the staff are nice and helpful. This place can get a bit busy during rush hours and meal times, so if you really want to eat here, try to call them and book a table in advance. I go here very often, with friends and family. You can dine-in, takeout and get delivery from this place.

Since the management changed the service is really poor. This restaurant used to be my favourite to the point that my two children ask to have lunch there. Sadly, on the weekend we were not welcomed. We bought a take away and then changed our mind so we wanted to eat in. We had a 4 yo and 2 yo with us. The manager spoke in Chinese saying we could NOT eat our food there. Later in English we were told that. I don’t mind following the rules, if they wanted us to buy more food it’s ok. They have their rules and I understand. What really pissed me off was the negative attitude and manners the personnel had with us. They treated us as if we were begging for food. It was really a bad experience. After being loyal to the restaurant for more than 6 years we do not plan to buy food there anymore.

had a takeaway from the vegan miyagi menu, best japanese food ive ever had!!!! such massive portions for the price i couldnt even finish half my main so saving it for lunch, delicious so impressed🥰🥰 will be ordering again. even my dad whos not vegan and never would be tried one of the drumsticks and said it was nicer than real chicken!!!

Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Food was lovely. Good value. BUT... I found a large bug (roach sized) on my table crawling around, that was it for me I'm afraid, I didn't finish my food. Could only happen to me. Such a shame but it's put me off a return. Genuinely gutted! *edit * Have to say it hasn't deterred my daughter. She still dines here and has never experienced what I did. I won't go back but I'm glad she enjoys it.

Wonderful food lovely staff and generally great

A low-key and an underrated place. Excellent value for money. We went for a quick meal before going to the movie and ended up with a takeaway box each since no one (not even the always hungry teen) was able to finish their massive portion. We will be back 🙂

WOW! The best Japanese restaurant that I have been to! The food was super delicious and filling. The staff was very friendly and efficient. One restaurant that I will always go to when I'm visiting my friends in Sheffield.

The food is very pricey. I ordered ramen and it was not tasty, I visited them again and ordered other things again, all my orders was disappointing. I visited many japan restaurants such as Tsuki, it was big difference in everything. I did not recommend to visit at all.

Ordered two chick katsu currys and the amount of chicken in them was laughable. The chicken pieces were extremely thin, like 3mm. Was like they deep fried a slice of chicken from a supermarket packet. It was 90% batter, nothing like the picture on the menu. I've tried to upload a pic but its not working. Also it tasted v unpleasant. I have katsu curry a lot and it tasted more like a gravy than a katsu curry.

Really disappointing. Spent £40 on the order. Two of the items totalling £20. Neither turned up and were replaced by a selection box worth £8.50. Asked for refund for those items and phoned restaurant but no response. I’ve ordered from here before many times and even recommended to friends so really disappointed that this has happened with no contact or compensation. Will not order again.

The chef has good cooking skills. Can tell from the silken texture of stir-fried beef and perfectly cooked rice. The food portion is also good. The major issue for me is that they are EXTREMELY salty, the "have you got a spare kidney" level of salty. Also, it is 0% Japanese-style food but 100% Chinese. I can tell because I lived in both Japan and Taiwan and am capable of cooking authentic dishes from both genres.

This has quickly become our favourite sushi place in Sheffield. It isn't just sushi; the menu is vast and includes all sorts of hot & cold options. Each day has a special offer on different types of dishes, but everything is available all week long if you have a hankering for a particular dish. You can get a cheap ice tea with any meal, but there's a wider drinks menu available too. There's also a separate section of the menu available which makes vegetarian options clear, which is good for veggie friends. Service is quick & friendly, although they're very popular for delivery too, meaning that a number of seats in the restaurant are often taken up by an overflow of Deliveroo bags instead. Can't penalise them for being too popular though, and I'm more than happy to wait or come back for a seat at busy times!

Really worth it. Each day of the week they have discounts for a special type of meals. I went on Tuesday and there was Ramen for £8. Also, the amount they put is huge and I couldn’t finish mine. I will come back for sure!!

Ordered vegetarian noodles on delivery, never had any issues in restaurant. It’s taken over two hours to arrive and my partner was told it would only take half an hour on the phone, can’t contact the restaurant back after this initial call at all and they’ve sent me crab stick noodles instead of vegetarian I’m pregnant and can’t eat what was sent and I paid a tip in advance for this awful service. Im now having to bin the food and cook. I ordered through their app as well and there’s no way to contact them directly on the app. Really disappointed.

I've been here for both dates and work socials, and Mr. Miyagi just never misses. ⭐ The chicken ramen is my go-to, and I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't sure what to order: it just ticks every box. The seating area is a little tight, there's only a couple of larger tables for groups, otherwise you may be sitting side-by-side around the conveyor. But whether you're eating in or taking away, the food is great quality and in very generous portions, you'll love it!

Usually never had any issues with Nr Miyagis, I’ve been several times and it’s been okay. The same can’t be said about last night. I ordered the mock Chicken Katsu Curry Don through Uber eats. I have had this a few times , I received the wrong food completely. The food I was served was actual meat and also had an egg in it. I tried to call them up several times and had no answer so I had to physically go to the store to ask for it to be remade correctly. Rather than apologising, immediately three people came and checked what my food was, argued amongst themselves and then told me I was wrong and that the food was what I ordered…when it so clearly wasn’t. I showed them my order through Uber Eats and what I ordered, but they wouldn’t admit they had made a mistake, instead they told me it was my fault and they wouldn’t remake the food. They literally humiliated me in front of the entire restaurant and were treating me like a child. They weren’t listening at all and violated my dietary requirements! VEGANS AND VEGETARIANS AVOID!

I had the vegan cod bento. It was really good, the fake cod tasted just like real fish and the portion was really good for the price. They also offer a student discount. The vegetarian and vegan menu was also separate which made choosing a meal easier

Terrible attitude of the middle aged server lady. Ridiculously rude, shouts at customers, doesn't accept her mistake. The place doesn't have any regard for food allergies, vegetarians/ vegans.

We went last night and overall the food was nice, however a member of the group has celiac disease (can’t have gluten). despite telling a member of staff of this dietary restriction and being informed that the ramen could be replaced with rice noodles, they instead gave them udon noodles. these are made from wheat flour; as a consequence this person has been very sick and unable to eat anything when she runs competitively. we thought we could trust this restaurant with allergies but obviously we couldn’t. We will not be returning

Regular visitors to Mr Miyagi, been regular diners for as long as it's been open. Due to a change of evening we ended up here at 9pm, later than normal, from the moment we entered it was a race to get us out, told we close at 9.30, removing our menus, clearing plates whilst still eating, cleaning up around our chairs!! We left at 9.30 feeling rushed and not eating what we normally order due to the staff staring and intimidating us. Bear in mind, the Just Eat sound was still ringing at 9.30 so the kitchens must still be open. I realise the staff want to go home, but that's not the idea here, it's a restaurant, the close time is always variable due to customers. Cleaning should be done when the door is closed for business. Please note this customer feedback, next time I shall call Mr Han & Kim direct.

Best culinary experience I had in a while. Online it is stated that the restaurant opens at 12.00. So we went there early because my friend had to return to work at 1pm. We got there at 12.05 and started to realize that they would not be able to serve food any time soon (they told us the kitchen wasn't ready at 12.20. So we decided to get takeaway instead which cost us the eat out help out benefit i.e. we had to pay double the price. What followed afterwards is that we were first waiting outside until my friend had to leave. I then waited inside the restaurant (after asking for the food) while everybody who got there later than us was being served their food, deliveroo drivers came and went and got their delivery, whole families were being served. I then got our two dishes which we ordered at around 12.10 am at 13.07 without an apology or even a hint at that it took them too long. I love the fact that we payed double the price than everybody else at the restaurant for this humilitation and that the food was cold. I can only recommend this experience and would go there again! But only if they put the bill into my food the next time too!

I have been here in person with friends many, many times as well as ordering food to be delivered both solo and with friends and my partner, and I am never disappointed! I usually get ramen but have had sushi on occasion. The sushi is nice, but as with every sushi restaurant, I'm the world - quite expensive, though this is not something I care about as it isn't any more expensive than any other sushi restaurant. The ramen, though... it is soooo delicious! I usually get the Coconut Curry Laksa, which is so so so good! I have also tried other ones which are also very good! The portion sizes are insane, both in person and as a takeaway! In person, it is basically a bucket full of ramen, and when I get a takeaway, I have to eat it out of a saucepan there is so much of it! It's only ~£9 - £11 per portion depending what type you get which for the size of the portions is exceptionally good value, it often lasts my friends and my partner two meals there is so much and again, the taste is amazing! If you go in person, it is also such a lovely atmosphere in there and all the servers are lovely! By far my favourite ramen place!

What is it with conveyor belt sushi?? Personally I prefer freshly made sushi rather than mass production on a belt… anyway MR Miyagi has several daily offers which need to be taken advantage of,… I recommend the set menu with the side dishes of sushi, you can’t go wrong with it… my go to is the tonkatsu (pork in breadcrumbs that’s deep fried) udon dish and then choose your own sushi, again I recommend the seared crab stick nigiri (rice balls) the cost is £14 but you definitely leave feeling full up. Straying away from the Japanese cuisine, my partner gets the laksa (Malaysian dish) which has a good authentic t home cooked taste, we travel 45 miles to eat here… they have many dishes in the menu and I reckon you won’t be disappointed on any dish, we come monthly and have yet to try something bad, although we usually stick to the same dishes lol, great food, good service, very clean establishment and definitely a lot of staff which can only mean one thing? Busy evening services… great for a quick lunch, yet to try and evening dinner.. thumbs up Daniel-san….

food is so good and the staff are really friendly and kind:) my boyfriend and I always come here and order the same thing because it tastes so good and we love it, I get the salmon platter and he orders some beef udon, he loves the udon it’s very flavourful and I love the salmon platter, the salmon tastes fresh and fantastic and the rice is perfect. I also had the temaki, both salmon and salmon and avocado and they tasted great, the avocado was creamy and there was the perfect amount of sesame seeds and mayo in the rice. it’s reasonably priced so we never really spend over £15-20 and the drinks are so good too!! my photo makes it look like i’m missing a few salmon rolls, i’m not, i was given five and by this point i’d eaten three already haha

Had a brilliant birthday date with my girlfriend here. Loads of leftovers that were still delicious when reheated at home. Amazing value for money!

Ordered vegetarian ramen because of dietary and allergy reasons but it contained crabsticks and fish in the miso soup (despite being advertised as vegetarian and vegan) which caused an allergic reaction. Won't be coming again. I get that there are fish/meat products being handled in the same kitchen, but other restaurants I have been to have managed to avoid this issue. Shouldn't be advised as suitable for a specific diet if care can't be taken to avoid cross contamination. Or a better understanding in regards to specific diets and allergies should be known to the staff as fish is not vegetarian.

A lot of options to choose from, the menus is huge filled with delicious flavor combinations. The Korean fried chiken is amazing! Not the best place for sushi rolls i would say though.

Best Ramen I have ever had!! I had the grilled chicken ramen. The portion size was perfect, I liked the variety of ingredients, and everything tasted excellent. Definitely a new favourite and value for money.

Incredible food, massive portions but the price does reflect this. However, they're arguably similarly priced to Let's Sushi but you get more food. Very friendly staff and a fast turnaround 🙂

Not recommend. Poorest service I’ve ever experienced. You can’t expect a waitress to give you good service if she is even so rude to her compatriots. The following is specially written in Chinese to open the eyes of Chinese people. The Chinese clerk in this store is really stupid. There are so many other disgusting tricks. To be honest, they are all Chinese and I really don’t want to curse them. And because they are Chinese, I gave them the greatest tolerance. In the end, I still I ate in the store, but this store has challenged the bottom line again and again. Not to mention that I looked as bad as Sima from the beginning to the end. The clerk started acting weird from the moment I entered the store and asked about the payment method. Is it impossible for you to speak in a normal tone with your mouth? Because I didn’t bring enough cash, I went to the cashier to ask what was in the dish so I decided to order. The woman didn’t say it directly to me, but in front of me, she asked the person next to me who looked similar to A girl about my age asked her three times in a row to take her to her seat and yell, and her attitude was extremely bad. What did this mean? Who was she showing her face to? Why do you want to be in the service industry with this quality? I want to be a father. If your store doesn't want to accept Chinese people, just stick to the door. No one will take the initiative to seek bad luck. The girl who came to serve me later had a very nice attitude and explained to me that she was a bit busy and couldn't make it. Don't take it too seriously. At that time, I wanted to forget it, but the friend who came to help me pay said he went to pay at the cashier. The two people in Taiwan have been pointing fingers and being so weird that even now I feel sick when I think about it. I write in Chinese just to show it to the Chinese people. The Chinese staff in this store have such a disgusting attitude towards Chinese people. After reading past reviews, this store might have a better reputation without the staff. Everyone, please avoid lightning as soon as possible. There are so many Japanese food restaurants, no one is as disgusting as this one. The food is not so delicious that you have to eat it. It’s not fun to spend money to find it. 🤢The level of the store staff is still good Working in the service industry is an unsolved mystery in the world. There isn't much I can do, that is, tell the people I know not to ask for trouble. If you don't want to serve, we won't cause any trouble.

Cute little Japanese outlet. Octopus skewer was delicious, however the batter of the tempura was undercooked and more like English than tempura batter and the ramen was tasteless and the noodles were clearly out of a packet. Apart from the octopus, the rest of the food was bland and unappetising. Also not child appropriate and no menu items suitable or specially designed for young children.

DON'T GO unless you wish to spend your money on the worst ever service. I went there with my local friends. I am Chinese and I speak Cantonese as well, therefore I understand every single word the staff said. A lady kept walking around to take away empty plates, but what annoyed us was that every time when she wanted to do so, she just said ‘finished?’ with an extremely impatient tone of voice. It was like we had put her in a very bad mood, but I can swear we didn’t do anything wrong at all. After around 45-50 mins here came the most ridiculous part of the story. She told a girl to throw us out because we had been sitting there for a long time (she speak in Mandarin and unfortunately I heard and understood it, and I guess she dares to do so because most of the customers might not understand Mandarin or Cantonese). I really wonder if 50 mins was a long time for 4 people who had ordered 7 dishes when there were still two tables available. Her acts and words literally made us feel so offended. At the beginning I thought maybe she just had a problem with us, but later I found she nearly judge everybody eating there. Is this a kind of culture of this restaurant? I even want to give zero star to the service. Actually I used to order takeout from this restaurant frequently, but due to what I have experienced, I won’t be its customer any longer. All I can say is DO NOT go there if you don’t want to be judged by a person you don’t know.
