Mr Miyagi Revolving Sushi Bar in Sheffield

So many different options great for snacks or a full meal they do different deals every day for example I went on Snacks Thursday

I got the samurai ramen, it was very bland and the chicken was weird, the ramen was like overcooked spaghetti and the prawn was very strange

So many vegan options that I've never seen before at sushi places! I had the vegan crab stick maki roll and vegan king prawn tempura. There was a lot of choice for mains as well.

I recently visited this Japanese sushi restaurant and was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. The salmon used in salads did not taste fresh, Additionally, the king prawns tempura had an overly thick batter that was not cooked properly, leaving it undercooked and unpleasant to eat. Overall, I cannot recommend this place.

Lovely staff, amazing vegan and vegetarian selection 😍 we had the kimchi, salt and chilli fried tofu (so yum!), seitan 'ch*cken' Katsu platter and vegetarian box platter all for a great price. We left stuffed and happy!

We ordered well in advance for a specific time but the delivery time given was set later, however our food arrived earlier than this. Main portions are huge, gyoza and aubergine teppan were really good

I do like the food, and service usually really good eating in. But terrible delivery management. For example, yesterday we ordered from just eat at 7:40pm with no indication that the delivery will be longer than 40 minutes. At 9:45pm the food has still not arrived or any indication of when it will arrival. No one was picking up the phone when we tried to ring. Eventually, the food arrived at 10pm, nearly 2.5 hours after we ordered, and the food was only luke warm. Really disappointing, as they should have closed for new orders if they are struggling. We could have ordered from elsewhere if they were honest and stated there was a significantly long wait.

I came here with my family yesterday at 8.15 The food was good but the service was disgustingly poor I was made to feel that our presence was a burden/ an inconvenience to you Constantly being rushed so you could close. £126 for five isn’t cheap and left feeling dissatisfied

Even on busy days, the service has always been super friendly and fast and the food is consistently brilliant and really well priced! Highly recommend

While the sushi was exceptional in quality and taste, the service provided by the staff was unfortunately lacking in professionalism and warmth. Additionally, the gyoza was overly oily, which detracted from its overall enjoyment. I hope this feedback can be used to improve both the dining experience and the quality of the dishes for future guests.

Ordered the miso soup, king prawns, kimchi beef soup, chicken gyoza, king prawns were covered in batter, the prawn it self was cooked yet the batter wasn’t? The kimchi beef soup was literally the only thing eatable but even then little to no beef just mainly soup, and the CHICKEN gyoza was FRONZEN on the inside and well the miso soup you can see for your self… unless you want salmonella id probably say don’t order from here.

Fantastic place in Sheffield. Been here a couple of times, definitely recommend the bento boxes. Always massive portions for a cheap price. Sushi is delicious too.

It was missing part of my order so I wasn’t happy after waiting over one hour for my food unfortunately

Tried this for takeaway sushi as Edo was closed. The quality of the food was poor. The sushi all tasted the same. Full of cheap crabsticks and covered in mayonnaise. We threw most of it away. Will not be returning.

Come here a couple of times. Food used to be perfect, and it has gone downhill recently. The chicken broth for the ramen is tasteless. The service is very poor. Staff seemed to be annoyed all the time. Not a pleasant visit this time. Good size portions for the price.

Everything was absolutely delicious! I can’t believe this was all vegan!The yakisoba was exquisite and the katsu curry was amazing! I truly am impressed !

I've eaten here many times but on my most recent visit unfortunately the quality seemed to have nose dived. I had the ramen as usual and found the pork fatty and the chicken broth really bland. It's a shame they don't offer tonkotsu broth with the char siu ramen. The service was also pretty poor, the staff just chatting whilst I waited to order and nobody cleared my table, I had to get up and pay when I was finished. I haven't tried the sushi so maybe that is better!

AVOID!!! We ordered through Deliveroo and had to wait 2 HOURS before cancelling our order as the restaurant wouldn’t answer phone, and when they eventually did, they refused to cancel until they were literally forced to as they were closing. Therefore our order was left sitting all that time. No surprise this place bad reviews and notes of food poisoning

Absolutamente repugnante la masa de tempura estaba cruda, podía oler el pescado malo en el personal de sushi era grosero y estaban tirando cosas en la mesa, tomó la orden mal y se negó a tomarlo así que tuvo que pagar completo. La tempura de cangrejo podía oler a nevera en el cangrejo ha estado allí durante siglos. ¡No vuelvas!

I ordered a katsu curry but ended up receiving a katsu don, which I assumed was a mix-up. Unfortunately, the dish was extremely disappointing. It didn’t look appetising at all—the egg was extremely undercooked, which made me feel nauseous. The chicken was so rubbery that I couldn’t eat it and ended up giving it to my partner, who also found it inedible. I could only manage a few bites of rice before stopping altogether. I struggled to keep from gagging in the restaurant, trying not to be rude, but the meal was just that bad. Really disappointed, I’ve ordered from here before and it’s been fine but slowly going downhill.

Absolutely love ordering from this place. Always get a poke bowl and make it my own and it’s always absolutely delicious as well as healthy.the food is always so fresh and delicious and well worth the price too. If vegan, they do vegan options as well and definitely recommend it.

No el más grande. Me encanta el sushi, es mi favorito pero no este sushi. El arroz no parecía muy fresco y no comía mucho.

My daughter took me for lunch here as she and her uni friends usually call in for lunch. We ordered off the Lunch meal deal menu and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and when my food came I was blown away by the portion size. I had to ask for a takeaway box. I can definitely recommend a visit here.

Most of the footfall was in collecting takeaway orders. The seating at our table for 6 people was a fixed bench, which was difficult to get in/out of. The waitress was good, and correct, that we were ordering too much food. When the food came, one chicken meal had so much fat on the chicken that it was unpleasant to eat. However, when we mentioned this, after discussion, it was deducted from our bill.

This was the worst ramen I've ever had. Tasteless, looked like dishwater, tinned sweetcorn, no fresh vegetables and the strangest chicken (lab grown?) with no chicken taste. More noodles than 'broth'(aka water). I left 3/4. No one asked how the food was, but when I paid they were utterly bewildered why I did not wish to tip. I feel underwhelmed and ripped off. Won't be back.

Our favourite sushi place in Sheffield. We've been coming here for years and have brought our daughter since she was 1 - thanks to Mr Miyagis we now have a 5 year old obsessed with sushi. Can't fault anything about the place - always so fresh, yummy, fast and with great service and lovely staff. Thank you!

This is a lovely Chinese restaurant that offers dine in and take out services. The food was really tasty. I had the noodles with beef and shrimps and my partner had the ramen noodles which was fantastic as well. They also offer sushi which seem to be a popular choice among other clients we met at the restaurant. The restaurant has its name from its revolving sushi bar which is aesthetically pleasing to the sushi lovers. The portions were really good and it was value for money. Customer experience was great, our server was polite and helped with recommendations. The restaurant also accepts reservations as the space is not very large. By the influx of delivery bikes outside the building, one can tell the restaurant is really popular. It's a nice place for a date, friends and office hangout.

Food was great, we went as a family food. Breast feeding friendly. There’s no baby changing facility’s but there is a toilet. There’s a lot of vegetarian and vegan options and a revolving sushi bar. We had a veggie mock chicken bento and miso soups, pork don and pumpkin croquets and agadeshi tofu, green tea, ice tea and my partner had a kirin beer. We could not fault the servers or chefs the device was friendly and fast.

Amazing find. We were hungry and saw a bunch of deliveroo riders in this place which immediately told us it must be good. And it was. Huge portions, great taste.

The only downside is the door being constantly open for just eat. Was cold when we went, they all kept leaving it open. So don't sit by the door! The food is great...

Very busy little place, clean, good food (large portion sizes,) friendly attentive staff. Very pleased with our meal, would definitely recommend if you like Southeast Asian cuisine.

A great value fast food location its all made fresh but really quickly the atmosphere isn’t really one to sit and chat the staff can rush you sometimes or appear a bit rude/abrupt but if you get takeaway thats usually better but does cost a bit more sometimes theres lots of choice and big portions especially the bento box, noodles and ramen and donburi katsu curry too i haven’t had a bad meal here and will carry on coming back thanks

Lovely place, very tasty and has good vegan options!

Delicious freshly prepared meals. Unfortunately too much going on in the restaurant with takeaway delivery drivers constantly popping in and out, take out meal bags are everywhere, spoils the atmosphere. If you don't mind all that then a great place to enjoy Mr Miyagi's sushi.

The food was absolutely amazing. I can’t fault it, the food came out fast. Brilliant service from Manny, and the atmosphere was perfect. Manny checked on us and even talked through menu. Tried as much as we could between two people. My only complaint is I wish I could have more in one sitting! The prices were very very reasonable, the portion sizes huge. And the chicken is halal, which is always a bonus. Can’t believe I’ve overlooked this place while being in Sheffield for almost 20 years. Brilliant food and will be coming back without a doubt.

Day off with my young son, he loves noodles so when he saw this restaurant he wanted to have lunch here - his choice. He spotted Katsu curry on the lunch menu, never had it before so we both had it. Wow! Delicious. My son gives this 5 stars, and i couldnt argue on the food alone. Service was also great. Will definitely be back again!

Unreal food and made to order! Had a lot of sushi from lots of places and this place still is one of the best!

Lovely, busy little eatery with a great choice of freshly made food. Had sashimi, maki, 3 different kinds of roll, yakitori octopus, tempura prawns, gyozo and more. Each and every dish was excellent. Decor, lighting, seating etc all very basic, but clean and tidy. Attentive and helpful service, will definitely return.

Probs my favourite place to eat. The portions are yuuuuuge. So much variety as well. Chicken Kimchi Fried rice is my go-to. They do a mean ramen as well.

Best place for having a good meal in Sheffield. The portion sizes are big and the prices aren't bad and the staff are nice and helpful. This place can get a bit busy during rush hours and meal times, so if you really want to eat here, try to call them and book a table in advance. I go here very often, with friends and family. You can dine-in, takeout and get delivery from this place.

Since the management changed the service is really poor. This restaurant used to be my favourite to the point that my two children ask to have lunch there. Sadly, on the weekend we were not welcomed. We bought a take away and then changed our mind so we wanted to eat in. We had a 4 yo and 2 yo with us. The manager spoke in Chinese saying we could NOT eat our food there. Later in English we were told that. I don’t mind following the rules, if they wanted us to buy more food it’s ok. They have their rules and I understand. What really pissed me off was the negative attitude and manners the personnel had with us. They treated us as if we were begging for food. It was really a bad experience. After being loyal to the restaurant for more than 6 years we do not plan to buy food there anymore.

had a takeaway from the vegan miyagi menu, best japanese food ive ever had!!!! such massive portions for the price i couldnt even finish half my main so saving it for lunch, delicious so impressed🥰🥰 will be ordering again. even my dad whos not vegan and never would be tried one of the drumsticks and said it was nicer than real chicken!!!

Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Food was lovely. Good value. BUT... I found a large bug (roach sized) on my table crawling around, that was it for me I'm afraid, I didn't finish my food. Could only happen to me. Such a shame but it's put me off a return. Genuinely gutted! *edit * Have to say it hasn't deterred my daughter. She still dines here and has never experienced what I did. I won't go back but I'm glad she enjoys it.

The mock cod fish and tofu panko bento boxes were very good. The mod cod tasted quite fishy and had a great texture - quite impressed. It even fooled my cat, who begged for some (in vain).

Brilliat service, good price and massive portions! The veggie menu is amazing and very tasty (had a mock duck udon ramen), can only recommend! 🌞

Wonderful food lovely staff and generally great

A low-key and an underrated place. Excellent value for money. We went for a quick meal before going to the movie and ended up with a takeaway box each since no one (not even the always hungry teen) was able to finish their massive portion. We will be back 🙂

WOW! The best Japanese restaurant that I have been to! The food was super delicious and filling. The staff was very friendly and efficient. One restaurant that I will always go to when I'm visiting my friends in Sheffield.

The food is very pricey. I ordered ramen and it was not tasty, I visited them again and ordered other things again, all my orders was disappointing. I visited many japan restaurants such as Tsuki, it was big difference in everything. I did not recommend to visit at all.

Ordered two chick katsu currys and the amount of chicken in them was laughable. The chicken pieces were extremely thin, like 3mm. Was like they deep fried a slice of chicken from a supermarket packet. It was 90% batter, nothing like the picture on the menu. I've tried to upload a pic but its not working. Also it tasted v unpleasant. I have katsu curry a lot and it tasted more like a gravy than a katsu curry.
