Let's sushi in Sheffield

This is such a really nice place to grab fresh sushi 🍣 They offer the takeaway price which is more affordable more than eat in, so I just quickly grab a sushi and then take home to enjoy. I didn't expect that the taste is so nice even I keep it outside for more than 1 hour🍣 Thank you for making such a delicious food ever in my lifeee!!!!!🥰🥰

I was given cold and stale chip and the chicken was not fresh at all, very disappointing just wasted my money. I’ll never be coming back here again

This used to be one of my favourites to get really tasty food for a decent price. But it's dropped drastically now. The sweet and sour tasted nearer to tomato soup and the teriyaki wasn't that great either, I'll be trying the other Asian food place a few doors down next time.

Very very disappointed!!!! I have eaten with my family here we have payed over £50 and the rest of the food we wanted for home but the bags cost £0.10 and i didn't have any cash and the minimum for pay by card is £4. The staff couldn't give me a solution. I got a bag from another shop for free even if we didn't take food from them!

I ordered for the hot spicy box. It’s a mixture of chips, nuggets and spring roll. This lady just poured only chips in the box, I saw just 3pcs of spring roll and 4pcs of nuggets. Asides that I requested for a chilli sauce and I got curry😩. Nah, they’re becoming terrible by the day. They less care about the customer’s request and interest.

I wish I could leave no stars. The service was awful, I was charged extra for sauce that came with my meal just because I wanted it on the side. I also couldn't choose the same thing twice in the choose three things meal option. The food was bland and has left me and my fiance both with upset stomachs (still even after 24 hours). I would not recommend this place at all.

Just pass ingredients being used on their Pick x dish meal.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this place. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was artful. The menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to all tastes. The service was impeccable, with knowledgeable staff who made great recommendations. The ambiance was both inviting and elegant. I can't wait to return for another delightful sushi meal!

The staff have no idea about dietary preferences so I would be cautious. The “tofu in black bean sauce” was labelled vegetarian and didn’t contain any dairy, asked why it wasn’t vegan they said because they fried with the fish?!?! So it’s not vegetarian then either , surely? They said that vegetarians eat fish so couldn’t understand what the issue is and said they refuse to do vegan food?

I usually love let’s sushi as I go to the one in Fitzgerald street in town. I was in Medowhall today with my family and we thought we stop here for the usual delicious meal we are used to get. Unfortunately the food is completely different, more comparable to dog food to be honest. Did not like it at all. We had All in one which is all brown food, the beef taste like cardboard all the rest is mainly fried stuff, Ramen not tasty and sushi bland. Will definitely not come back to this branch and I would like the owner to re think about his brand standards. Did not spend a crazy amount of money but still that’s not the point as I am happy to pay for quality

Grabbed a quick bite. Decent price. Went for the 3/4 items meal. Can choose any toppings (i.e. salt and pepper chicken, chicken katsu, chips, sweet and sour chicken) and rice or noodles. Curry sauce to top it up👍 You can choose more items and there are also sushi available.

I used to eat here and was very happy. But lately two things I was buying, the sweet and sour and the sweet chilli have dropped TOO much in quality. To the point I feel it is disgusting. They made the pieces so small that there is no chicken in them. It is like eating jelly. Absolutely awful and I think this change is about for the last one and a bit months or so. Really bad and the last time I eat there. From now onwards the Chinese place a few metres further.

Bland, under-flavoured food, and the ‘hot’ (spicy) food is *not*. If you like your food with a bit of a spicy kick, you’ll be very disappointed.

Fantastic portion at a decent price. Went for lunch after a browse and got the 4 items meal deal and a drink for £7.20. Plenty of tasty food and enjoyed it greatly.

People just sit there on their phones. Can't get a seat.

staffs were friendly and helpful. She explained how is the meal works and recommended me a vegetarian dishes. Highly recommended and food delicious.

Just came to Meadowhall for shopping and decided to grab some food. I was attracted by this shop as the food looks very nice and also the decorations outside the shop. I ordered the meal with 3 toppings which were delicious and just enough for me, especially the chicken skewers will be one of my favourite! The price is reasonable, very quick service and staffs were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to have a quick and delicious meal in Meadowhall. Will definitely come back with friends of mine!!

Tried the chicken katsu hun meal today. Bun was okay on outside but rock hard towards middle. Which I hadn’t noticed until I bit into it. Basically was a plain piece of chicken with mayonnaise and a bit of cucumber. No flavour at all and crammed into a bowl with cold dry chips. Not very nice and don’t recommend.

So when taking out food they won't charge you for that price but the price for eating in and then when you do order food it will be rock hard, not what you ordered, overly sweet and when u ask for a refund they will only give you a partial one... Never again..

Staff was extremely rude, the food was dry. Overall the experience was shocking, I definitely won't be going back.

Food here is so delicious. There are plenty of options to choose from and they are all delicious. You get a large amount for your money which is already not expensive and it's very easy to choose what you want.

Value and food are great, way above the norm, but the customer service is lacking. Should you not be able to eat everything and afterwards ask for a takeaway bag they will charge 10p, which is fair and all, but if you only have a 5p coin in your pocket in this day and age of cards and digital payments, they will send you away to get cash. Food's good tho, best asian fast food around imo.

Nice place for a mix of sushi and other Japanese food

It is extremely tasty, not even expensive. Personally, I had chicken with teriyaki sauce and it was very tasty. I didn't manage to eat it with chopsticks like I wanted, especially the rice, but I tried anyway. In the end, I still ate it with a fork. It's just that the rice itself wasn't made in a way that you could eat it with chopsticks. I will definitely stop by to eat there again. Worth it not even expensive.

don't buy the big portion. they put everything on top of each other and you can't taste anything. everything becomes one taste

Fab food fab staff and plenty of veggie and vegan options

The Let's Sushi in Meadowhall, Sheffield serves very nice food at a cheap price. We love to eat there whenever we visit Meadowhall. The sauculent sweet & sour chicken, the chicken balls, the prawn fries and rest of the food there are just delicious. I have not found other Let's Sushi franchies this good. Highly recommended if you ever visit Meadwohall.

If u want sushi get it fresh upstairs further round meadowhall but has same chinese disheds as yantzee but here is better fresher

Bought a £8.00 meal deal with a bit of everything and a green tea. Shared with wife and still could not finish. Best value for money. Came to £10 . And hot food as well. Worth the money

Yummy fast Japanese food, usually I like to order the chicken ramen as it's in a authentic broth but I didn't have the time to wait on this visit so I picked a meal number 4. You get to choose 4 items from the ready made hot selection. I went with noodles ,salt and chilli chicken, a piece of chicken and some battered tiger prawns which was very yummy. If you love ramen it's definitely worth the ten minutes wait while they make it to order !!

I had heard about this place recently and last week while I was going for some shopping in Meadowhall I decided to try this place with some friends. As the place serves both Chinese and Japanese food, I decided to go for the Chinese option as the chicken was halal and this was my first ever time having Chinese food. I ordered noodles with sweet and sour chicken, fried chicken balls, chicken katsu and salt and pepper chicken. The service was relatively quick and the staff were friendly. The food was of excellent quality and even though the salt and pepper chicken was slightly disappointing it was still nice and the other chicken made up for it. Overall I really enjoyed this place and would definitely come back and have it again.

Fast and I love the sushi they have. Good prices too.

I visit regularly with my friends when we're out in town on a shopping trip. The food is very reasonably priced and tastes wonderful. The staff are also very helpful and lovely. The portions are quite big so if you don't eat a lot they're good to share too. When I last came it was during the lockdown and they are very clean and organised.

Good portions, average quality, not too expensive. Main issue was my partner had seafood yaki soba and it come with one prawn, she wasn't impressed.

Approx 5pm today. All the labels said ask at the counter for allergies. Asked the staff and neither knew what gluten was. Walked away... wish there was a zero star rating as I can't eat there!

Ramen tastes awful and costs 7 pounds.

Honestly was blown away by the staff there. They were so understanding when I stupidly ordered something with Chicken in and on realising was horrified. Not their fault at all, totally mine. I told them first how much of an idiot I was, followed by asking to change my order to something veggi. The staff were so understanding and honestly there aren't many places that would have done something about it. They did, and for that I am thankful. Also, the food was top notch. 100% Recommend their Tofu Udon :D

Only discovered this place recently due to the large queue at Yangtze but what a find as the food is better value and really delicious so we now visit here at lunchtime instead...

Tried this place on my last visit to Meadowhall. I had Chicken Yakisoba and i also got Salmon Nigiri. The portion size of the yakisoba was great. The salmon Nigiri was fresh and was really nice. Price was good for the quality of the food and the staff were friendly and helpful! I also bought Daifuku which was delicious I will definitely go here again when i next visit meadowhall

Really unpleasant smell from the chicken Ramen and chicken looked like it had been frozen and reheated in the microwave. Really really unappetising. Will not be eating from there again

Everytime I went to medowhall I'd eat this. It was delicious and overall my favourite food. I liked it a lot. But one day. I bit half the last chicken ball and noticed it was not cooked. Unfortunately that was the last one, so I had eaten all the rest. After I felt ill for 2 days. I wouldn't eat there again!?

Love their food - the Tofu katsu curry is amazing!

after ordering 3 meals, kids, meal 1 and meal 2, I went to pay she quickly told me the price which I thought id miss heard to then have my card quickly taken from my hand as I held it up thinking she would have a card machine or show me where it was and could check the cost. She grabbed the card out of my hand and quickly scanned it for chip and pin without showing me how much she was charging or even giving me a chance to see what she was charging. told my partner to check what we had paid and surprise surprise we'd been done! Be very wary when paying and hold on tight to your cards. I wonder how many people this has been done to that don't check? Update... lets sushi got in contact and gave me a refund of the over charge and assured me they will offer further training to stop staff taking the customers card off them. The after care I was very pleased with and definitely redeemed their selves.

Love love love this place . Salt and pepper chicken is my favourite and it’s delicious. I can assure you the food is fresh as a daisy as I’ve seen the staff bring out fresh food. Noodles are delicious everything is ..I just wish that instead of rice or noodle option for children it could include chips then plus another hot food.

A food inspector need to visit this place. The food is tasteless. The customer service is so poor. At present they are serving sticky flour for salt and pepper chicken. I went there today thinking that if I but this time in the morning maybe my experience would be better. The sweet and source chicken is overnight food. I'm a cook so I know. I have taken pictures so will post them. When I said it to the girl she smiled as if she did not understand. The manager need to be aware of this and do something about it.

Bought the £7.50 little bit of everything tray at lunchtime whilst on a shopping trip.. Started eating my piece of chicken and absolutely disgusted to find it raw in the middle..took it back and was asked if I wanted to change it!! Wasn't interested at all didn't seem to care not even a sorry... Shocking service, disgusting food will never eat here again.

Asked about if their tofu curry was vegan, was told “no, nothing is vegan”. I asked about the tofu sushi’s & other seemingly vegan/vegetarian products. They said they didn’t know what was in them, but their boss had told them nothing is vegan. They then said that they were fried in the same oil as meat/fish/seafood. I asked how they have these products labelled as vegetarian if they are frying them with meat/fish/seafood. They said it depends on if the customer is ok with it or not, however nowhere on the signs does it say anything about this. Extremely misleading & probably against the law. Some of these products should easily be vegan e.g. miso soup, inari(sweet tofu & rice). The explanation from staff was inadequate. They were unable to provide accurate allergy information or tell me any of the ingredients in their products. AVOID if you have any allergies or dietary requirements!!!

I gave 5 stars for this be because I love salt and pepper chicken, and have got to say Let's sushi do a great one, everytime I take someone there they get obsessed with it 🤣 and keep going back,. Loads on offer, they also do set boxes where you can mix them up, well worth the money.

We love the chicken katsu from here for the price. Cheap and cheerful, curry sauce is delicious and plentiful. But why have the chicken portions halved in size?? Gone from getting 4 pieces to 2.

Yesterday me and my boyfriend had a pumpkin curry from let's sushi we asked if any of the dishes were vegan friendly and the lady who served us pointed out that even though the pumpkin curry said it was vegetarian it was also safe for vegans. Luckily I only had a couple of mouthfuls it was very nice but then 15 minutes later I felt very I'll, I got home 20 minutes later and yes I had diarrhea and sickness. Later speaking to a health care profession they told me I had food poisoning and if i had eaten the full meal I would have ended up in hospital and even now I feel very I'll. My partner this morning emailed let's sushi and asked if anything on the menu was vegan and the reply was no. I feel for other reasons disgusted as I am a very strict vegan and this has really impacted me. I think your staff need training in what a vegan is.

It's a good choice to grab a quick bite, specially if there is not a long queue. Their lunch deal of the day seems to be the same for every day and that's what I went for: a big bowl of noodles with chicken for £2.5 and it was filling and tasty. I can't complain at all.

Great food at brilliant prices and the staff are always super friendly. They're even happy to swap out pieces from the sushi sets if you order online and ask in the special requests section. You also get a 10% discount for ordering through their website before picking up/delivery.

Lovely food but does not smell good late at night

Tasteless, bland, beige not words I’d normally describe my favourite meal with so when I saw let’s sushi I was excited. WRONGLY my wife and I both had ramen, seafood and veggie. Both had no flavour and if anything it wasn’t a nice taste. My seafood was rubbery and the tofu was like fried cardboard. I’d avoid and head to yo sushi instead.

The food not as good as expected at great value though.

Good size serving at a sensible price. The specials aren't bad. Forget what I ordered in the picture but it wasn't great as the chicken was dry and was generally bland.
