Booked Beju for a belated valentines meal. A lot of tables were offered water on arrival but unfortunately we were not. Both tables beside us were served before us, despite us arriving 10 minutes before. Starters were quick to arrive and were nice, however there were issues with the mains. The steak was rare, however we requested medium well. One of the sides that was ordered did not come to our table and we had to go to reception to ask for it, as no staff members were in our area of the restaurant, and when we tried to get their attention we couldn’t. We also requested plain chips and received chips with spices. A staff member (who I assume was a manager) asked for the booking name to confirm we arrived at the table (despite us already confirming at the entrance). Despite us being asked 4 times for our booking name, we were charged £20 on two separate occasions for not arriving for our time slot - however this was kindly refunded. Atmosphere was nice, however restaurant was quite cold.

Loved the food and the service was spot on! Neco was an excellent waiter the guy deserves a pay rise was very efficient and welcoming been before but this waiter went above and beyond! And made my 1 year old child happy with his bubbly personality

I originally had a Groupon for a 2 course meal with a drink. I booked and got ready to go here with my friend and then got turned down because I hadn’t rung up to tell them I had a voucher. This was extremely disappointing and I felt upset by the experience. The guy who was wearing a suit with brown hair was quite rude but rearranged the meal. We went back. It’s a very cold place especially the toilets. There was a very polite waiter who wore glasses. He was polite and passed us the menu for the set meal we were having. There was only one vegetarian option on there for the main which was noodles. They were extremely spicy and I did not enjoy them. The vegetarian gyoza was lovely but when the waiter brought them to the table he said they were chicken. Then changed when I told him that I ordered vegetarian ones and told me they normally have a sticker on but they are the vegetarian ones. The bathroom has cold water to wash your hands and the bins were full. I will not be returning to this place.

Nice location and setting, although quite dark inside but I guess this is the atmosphere of the restaurant. This was a Birthday celebration. The food didn’t blow me away but was pretty decent. We were given sparklers which was a lovely touch. I would visit again.

Our visit to Beju turned out to be incredibly disappointing. We went as a group to celebrate a friend's birthday and had been eagerly anticipating the experience. However, the service, especially the management, was extremely poor. •Upon arrival the restaurant was freezing and we requested twice for the heating to be turned up. •The food was brought to us at different intervals, spanning over 1.5 hours. •Some guests waited for over an hour without receiving their meals, while others were served sides after finishing their main courses. • Some items never made it to our table. • The lack of organisation and communication among the staff was evident throughout our meal. •The ambiance of the restaurant, which we had heard so much about, was overshadowed by the chaos in the service. The manager's behaviour was unpleasant and unhelpful, he was rude and obnoxious; despite our complaints, no compensation was offered as the manager didn’t agree that the service provided was unacceptable. Seeing our friends special day ruined by a disappointing dining experience was truly disheartening and the overall feeling of disappointment lingered even after we left the restaurant.

We visited Beju for a birthday occasion and Amir was absolutely exceptional in the service he delivered. He made the occasion extra special and he went the extra mile. We had a fantastic experience all thanks to Amir! Thank you Amir we loved everything! :)

This experience was awful. We had numerous issues which included (but was not limited to) - The wait - 1hr 10 for our mains. The manager tried to say this was because of the style being “tapas” but 2 of our party were eating way after the other 9 of us. There was a 30 min wait for edamame beans. - I asked for a meat free dish. The waitresses were checking the dishes for meat by sight because they didn’t know which was vegetarian - while stood at the table in front of us. - The wait staff repeatedly tried to take our plates away from us when we hadn’t even had our mains or the rest of our starters - A pescatarian option was given as “no prawns just chicken”, despite it being the opposite. - [Other starters were called as chicken, when it was actually beef. - It was extremely cold in the venue and we had to ask 3 times for a change in temperature. - One starter of prawns was dropped all down one of the group - one member of the party was served the wrong drinks order for vodka - A Pina colada was called out but it was actually a mock tail causing more confusion for one of our group who doesn’t drink - Mid walking downstairs one of the panels fell away from the step causing trip hazard - They were missing core menu items including Pravha, Thai green curry and Katsu curry. We weren’t told this beforehand so we didn’t know before ordering. We then had to amend order last minute. - One member of the party asked for draught beer and was served bottled beer. - Squid was ordered and never came - There were wires at both ends of the table causing trip hazards - The men’s toilets sink is overflowing We spoke to the manager about all the above and he said he would sort it out - he then sent 2 bottles of Prosecco to the table for 11 of us. This was unacceptable. We didn’t want any extra drinks as by that point we wanted to leave. When the bill came, no money had been taken off and there was nearly a £50 service charge. We spoke to the manager again and were told this was because we had been sent prosecco. The food was nice but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant when we were spending so much. Do not go here.

Food is bland , cold, service is super slow , staff sitting around chatting and watching whilst you eat. Uncomfortable vibes.

Came here for my birthday. Staff seemed like they were trying too hard to be nice but I could see them getting annoyed. And please let’s not even talk about the FOOD! My bao buns tasted like gloopy glue, they were cold and the filling was awful. All the food we ordered was horrible. It’s a shame because the decor is beautiful. It’s true that the places decorated all boujee have the worst food. Sorry but the food needs improving asap and maybe new waiters? We spent over £100 and was gutted at the food and quality

Woahhh first time trying this place out as it was my gf birthday. Got in it was quiet as we went on a monday, but the place was beautiful, the led trees and everything was so beautiful i could just feel nature around. It was fantastic. If i could give 20⭐️ i would. The food - delicious, appetising & tasty. We had got a couple starters & a couple mains. I was actually delighted to taste them all. To be honest. We loved it. Worth the price. Service - good service the staffs were really nice. My names Mo and i thank you so much for giving us some shots (non alcoholic) and the smoke in a treasure. It was awesome & he deserved a £5 tip. I will be back another time. But i rate this place. For everyone who wants to go to a boujee place and take pictures. This is the one for you. Thank you. Mo checked in 05/02/24

Lovely food. However we were blatantly lied to by the front of house on arrival. We had a meal booked for Sunday dinner and was told they had run out of Sunday dinner. They then continued to serve Sunday roast to guests that had arrived after us. When we confronted the gentleman he said they had only 2 left and as we were 4 people he did not offer it us. We then saw even more Sunday dinners coming out and then he said that he had told us, it was only the beef that had run out. This was not true and a blatant lie. I had no idea why he did this but we were very disappointed When confronted again he could not respond and didn't apologise.

Overall poor- not worth the hype. TikTok convinced us to make the hour journey- Not. Worth. It. Extremely Over priced food, sour mocktail Saw a comment earlier regarding microwaved food and completely agreed- bao buns were very tough, stale and the meat inside was cold. We had 1 bite each and didn’t touch the rest. We hate wasting food but they were inedible. Service was average- staff spent most of the time in one corner talking to each other. No one asked how the food was and no one really cared. The place was very quiet too which speaks volumes. Very disappointed.

Really liked this place. Asian fusion food. We ate tapas-style and all the dishes were excellent. The sharing fondue was labelled for two but fed four of us no problem. £50 each including drinks. Lovely staff. Definitely recommend.

Do not honour vouchers. Was given a Groupon as a gift and was told on arrival (and despite booking in advance) that they didn't accept them in that 2-month window. Given that they only serve bottomless brunch on 1 day a week, this is a big chunk of the year. So, it was a wasted trip, wasted time and a wasted gift. There was absolutely nothing on the voucher stating that the booking date was not included in the deal.

Where do I start, location is ideal, situated at the heart of Sheffield City Centres night life district. The ambience and decor in this venue is incredible and finished to a high standard, the quality of drinks and cocktails at the bar are top quality, I’d give it a 10/10 and food is delicious. I visited in December as a party of around 6ppl and our waitress Grace handled us with care, she was extremely friendly and helpful. Her customer service was amazing, she assisted us with the menu and delt with our various requests promptly. Absolutely recommend Beju !!

Absolutely brilliant. The customer service was extraordinary and the food was delicious. A bit on the pricey side but worth it 100%. It was my birthday and they brought out sparklers and waffles with chocolate and ice cream(as shown in the photo). Dylan our waiter was absolutely fantastic. No complaints whatsoever. 5 stars all round. 10/10 would recommend. It was also halal.

The waiter / so called manager I think had trouble with his listening skills & understanding English. Not only did our staters not all come out at the same time and around 10-15 mins apart but more importantly it was cold. Re mains - when they came out, it turned out that he didn’t order the 5th dish. When questioned he was adamant he stated he repeated the order & would not accept that’s it was his fault. Sadly the 5th dish was my daughter’s whose 16th birthday it was. Sadly it was a such a terrible experience we had to leave as my daughter ended up in tears. The manager was so COLD & HEARTLESS, he didn’t even offer any form of apology!! More importantly, he didn’t even wish my daughter a happy birthday even though it was on the booking form. Not even a gesture of goodwill was offered A very poor experience & the Manager really needs to learn some basic compassionate customer service skills. How he is the manager, I am truly amazed!! What a miserable, cold person. Genuinely folks, Pls don’t waste your time & money

Awful experience. £140 for a meal I couldn’t even cut through, poor service, absolutely freezing, filthy. When I asked for a steak knife and said it was incredibly tough I was told “if you don’t like it, don’t eat it then”. After such a bad experience the waiter had the audacity to be annoyed because I didn’t want to take a photo of the cocktail he’d made. He stopped himself and said “why’ve I just taken all of” All of that what? Time? For me. Not social media. The cocktail is for my own enjoyment 💁🏻‍♀️ I did contact management, they replied to say they’d call and didn’t. Save your money.

Ebi and the staff were all utterly amazing and really accommodating. The only reason I marked the atmosphere down a star is sometimes the music is just too loud and you can't hear each other talking, but apart from that a great place with by far the best staff I have had the pleasure of being with!

The staff look at you like you are aliens there’s no politeness They gave everyone sparklers on the whole floor and handed one each to each individuals and left me and my sibling out because we was the only Asians sat there!! DISGUSTING RACIST BEHAVIOUR ! We travelled 1 hour 40 to get here and like I said I did not think Racism would exist in 2023! AWFUL AVOID! Absolute disgrace !!! WOULD NEVER STEP BACK HERE!
