We called in whilst visiting Heysham. Super coffee at very reasonable prices. The cafe and toilets were immaculate. Super kind and helpful volunteers who look after the cafe. We went for a walk and then called in again for another coffee before leaving Heysham.

We love our visits to this gem of a cafe. We are always made to feel very welcome. I have a registered assistance dog who sleeps under the table while we are there. The hot chocolate is delicious. The building is warm and cosy. The toilets are always clean. There are gifts and cards for sale. Some very talented people. Lovely walks from the cafe door. The walled garden with access in the churchyard is a must to see. The people serving in the cafe are warm and welcoming. A must visit if you are in Heysham.

We were visiting from Manchester and called in to the cafe as been before and knew they had items to sell for charity as once bought a couple of knitted dogs. There were some people sat outside abd the doors were open so we went in. A very rude lady shouted we are closed in a very offhand manner. I said I just wanred to look at the items for sale snd again she said we are closed in the same manner. In a church cafe thus was very surprising. Needless to say we would never return. A polite explanation would have been preferable.

We were passing through from Glasgow earlier in the week and went for a walk in the old village. This cafe is in a beautiful location. The coffee, tea and cakes are delicious and I can't recommend them highly enough, and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. You'll also be supporting what is clearly a wonderful parish community. The history of the parish and the views and quite incredible. Please support businesses like this.

Saint Peter’s church cafe is a great little place opposite the church where you can enjoy inexpensive snacks. Run by family and friends of the church, the cafe has a lovely dining area and very friendly atmosphere.

Wow. Terrible service. Booked a table online but they seemed not to know we were coming. 3 of us but shown to a table with 2 chairs and left to find the third for ourselves. Expensive 'mocktail' spilt but no offer of a replacement. Food order lost, starter finally arrived 1 hour 30 mins after time of table booking. Then left staring at empty plates while staff dusted bottles on the top shelf and cleared empty tables elsewhere. Decided to cut our losses and leave, hungry, instead of waiting an age for main courses to arrive. Terrible evening. Real shame. I really can't suggest its worth going.

This is a great Britstop for Motorhome’s and campervans. Electric hookup as well! Very friendly pub with great service and lovely freshly cooked food to order. Will definitely be coming back here as it is so easy to get to straight of the M6.

Not impressed. Arrived for a pre-booked lunch on Saturday, but not welcomed at the bar and left standing for some minutes. Was seated in a dark room with no heating and only given one of two possible menus. We told waitress the room was very cold and she simply replied 'yeah, it is'. Left to pay for the 2 drinks we had as decided not to stay and eat, and again left waiting while 4 members of staff chatted near us. Had to specifically ask to pay for our drinks and wasn't asked at any point why we'd decided not to stay. Left and ate in a nearby garden centre, which was a much better experience all round. Won't be visiting the hotel again, at least not to eat.

Used to be the best place in Lancaster by miles. The Goliath with tattoos is the most iconic failure of customer service you could ever encounter. so rude and abrupt, had the pleasure of the previous staff that were the polar opposite. The place is dead these days, I still go in hoping to see the old guard but alas still the scowling Angel that can’t be arsed.
