Hi, my wife & myself went into sainsburys cafe , she had a piece of cake & i had a all day breakfast. I picked up the staff were a combination of incompetents & plain useless!!!!.. we waited half an hour and i gave up & walked out. I realky dont know what has happened to this country. We truly cant run a bath & serve a breakfast.. never again sainsburys you have become another on the list of hopeless!!!!!

Wasted over £8 on tea - no pots just a tea bag floating in a thick mug, add your own milk. Two slices of thin cheap rubbery ham, two rubbery eggs, pale under cooked chips, all lukewarm and swimming in grease. First and last visit, the Harvester opposite would have been a far better choice.

Ordered a all day breakfast, the food was terrible, my bacon was barely cooked, the mushroom was soggy, toast was only toasted on one side, I also ordered a mocha to find all the contents in dry lump at the bottom. I would not recommend this cafe at all.

I chose to have a Jacket Potato with Baked Beans and Cheese. It was served with a very generous salad garnish, and despite the prompt service, the Jacket Potato was cooked thoroughly. So, good quality food at reasonable prices.

Came here with my son , we had a lovely slice of carrot cake each & coffee which was really nice , the prices are really reasonable, can be a bit noisy there but you expect it in a cafe within a supermarket.

Popped in to have a quick lunch and was very disappointed! Normal Hunters chicken is Chicken breast with cheese and bacon with bbq sauce, with coleslaw and chips if your lucky. Not at Sainsburys - dried up chicken with bbq squirted all over with peas and a few chips! Very disappointed no cheese or bacon!! Definately won't bother next time.

Well that was interesting......usual sub standard service from the slow moving and uninterested staff. Maybe this is what’s its like watching the extras practice walking like zombies for The Walking Dead before hitting the make up department. The breakfast came out.....I was afraid there may be some flavour left in the bacon ....nope that had managed to cook that all out of it. The fried egg was broken.....useful tip.....try using a slice to remove it from the frying pan , because it looked like it had been punched out of the pan. I know presentation won’t be looking like it’s been cooked at Rick Steins in Sandbanks......but this looked more like Rik Mayall cooking in The Young Ones !

Most times there are only two staff up front, one making drinks and the other on the till, but there is rarely a long wait. The menu includes a few dishes not on most average cafe menus, eg Salmon. Coffee is made using a professional machine and it is better than many places that charge considerably more. Whilst not haute cuisine, it is good food for the price.

After shopping in Sainsbury's or before looking around we stop for a drink and sometimes lunch, but most of the time it is a coffee or a diet coke, with a shortbread biscuit. The staff are very helpful and friendly, as especially to me, as I am severely Sight Impaired, which mean blind. After ordering my drink and paying for it they take my cup over to the table, if I have nobody else with me at that time. There is always a table, however, it does get busy at lunchtimes, so it is difficult to find a round table. It is nice and bright and comfortable.

Burnt toast, a baguette with no butter on (that I was then asked to pay for). Very dismissive service all round. Cheap and cheerful is one thing but you will find no cheer here...

Cheap and cheerful. You literally get what you pay for. I find the food very hit or miss. Service depends on who is serving you. Half the time you get the staff that just can’t be bothered and really don’t want to serve you and the half of the time you get the ones that will smile at you whilst rolling their eyes and huffing . The cafe is good for a last resort.

went to Sainsbury's Cafe for some Lunch with a Friend, use this restaurant quite alot as I do my weekly shop in the store, I had a Bacon & Suasage Baguette as I added Sausage, My friend requested a Big Breakfast however is not fond of Tomatoe so I asked for this to be removed, the response I was given "can't do that it comes the way it is" I asked the lady why the tomotoe could not be removed "we don't have the facility to do that", now as a restaurant manager myself I understand the picking and swapping isn't always necessary but I wasn't asking for a swap I was asking to take it off the plate, because there was a button on the till this was not possible?, what if someone had an allergen request? your'e saying they can't have that dish at all?. So you can't walk to the kitchen and go ask the chef for a request?.

The latte at Sainsbury's is okay but the hot chocolate is poor and it shouldn't be because the Sainsbury's own chocolate drinking powder is fine the problem is how they are making it. The bakery make a delicious fresh raspberry éclair and a nice Portuguese tart. Sainsbury's at Ferndown do a very nice omelette it should be as good at Alder hills Sainsbury's but its not. It is not as big or tasty. My partner had a full English breakfast at this Sainsbury's it looked really gross.Today we waited forty five minutes for omelettes that is not good.

Often pop in when going shopping. Love their toasted tea cakes, really tasty. Have tried other meals, ham,egg & chips were good but the proper main meals not so good: not hot & veg over done! So stick to tea stuff: toasted sarnies/paninis. Some of the staff are very pleasant. A couple (on Saturday) were pre-occupied with their own chat & seemed not interested in their customers.

I ordered a breakfast. Then a coffee. I got instant. I asked why. I was told the machine was broken. You tell the customer first then you serve them. The breakfast arrived. Burned toast and one of the sausages looked as if it had been sacrificed to some higher power. The bacon was so fatty I recommended it joined weight watchers.I love Sainsbury's but this isn't good enough. Your restaurant should reflect the quality of the produce you sell. Yours doesn't. I won't be eating at the restaurant again. I work hard for my money as do you dear reader. Don't waste it.

Called into this cafe about 3.30pm for a late lunch. There is free parking outside for the supermarket of which the cafe is a part. There was a choice of sandwiches, cakes, hot and cold drinks and hot food which is all listed on a board. There is a limited choice of hot food and it includes the usual things like sausages and mash, fish and chips. You have to take a tray and queue up and order at the counter. I ordered a hot drink, Earl Grey tea, which the lady made for me, I also ordered a cottage pie with vegetables and was given a number for my food order.I found a table and was also pleased to find that there were free newspapers to read and the cafe has its own toilets which are in addition to the toilets in the supermarket. You also have to help yourself to cutlery and any condiments which are in an area away from the counter. The food came quickly and was hot and tasty. Total bill just over £9 which was fine for what I had.

Friendliest people serving great food with a smile. The most amazing breakfast baguettes, only thing I'd say is I'd love fresher bread but it's still my favourite sandwich shop

I've been a regular customer to hortons over the years, but today's service was so bad I won't be using them again. I get a 45 minute lunch break.. 15 minutes of that was spent waiting to order because they had a family of 5 place an order before me and clearly couldn't cope with a group order. After finally ordering, 5 minutes goes by before I'm told they can't do my food so I said no problem I'll just have the milkshake then that I had ordered... another 15 minutes goes by and I still don't have my milkshake. At this point I have 10minutes left of my lunch break, so I proceeded to walk out and and quickly ordered some food from premier bites opposite. I never did get my milkshake from hortons or able to get a refund as no one was attending the till even after I had ordered and collected a hot panini from Premier bites... Hortons has gone down hill ever since the kids took over. On the other hand I can recommend premier bites opposite. Lots of love the RJ lift engineer.
