Visit often and have either the ‘Big Breakfast’ or, after 11.30, the more economical ‘Bigger Breakfast’. Some members of staff can be a bit lethargic at times and for a supermarket cafe to ‘...run out of sausages’ seems ludicrous. Apart from that, a good variety of menu items very reasonably priced. Drinks are a bit expensive.

We went as a family for a late lunch one weekend. Long queue to order from not very welcoming staff. Eggs on veggie breakfast came almost raw (despite having asked for them “burning to a crisp”), sent back and grateful to be offered a whole new meal but when it arrived it was the meat version of my original veggie order. Kids sides never came either. Only order they got right was a toasted tea cake! We gave this place 3/5 as they gave up and offered a full refund without my asking.

Visited sainsbury's cafe today with my grandchildren, had the roast Easter dinner everything was rock hard and also had beef baguette that couldn't even be cut in half it was that hard. They also forgot to bring our chips that we had also ordered. They either need to change their chef or retrain them.

The cafe at Sainsburys is variable, sometimes quite good sometimes poor. It serves the purpose when in need of refreshments and sustenance. The staff are pleasant enough most of the time.

Long wait in the queue to be told there is a 30 minute wait. This turns into an hour wait. To pass the time I got the honour of listening to the foul mouthed assistant in the back everytime the doors opened. She needs a bar of soap for her disgusting mouth. If she doesn't like customers she is in the wrong job. The food was terrible. Sainsburys, you have lost a once loyal customer.

Did my food shopping with my disabled mum and we decided to treat ourselves to lunch in Sainsbury’s cafe. Bad idea😉. It wasn’t busy so got Mum settled and went to order. One person on service! Slow or what🤔. To be fair she seemed more flustered. A young girl was slowly moving in and out of kitchen bringing food to tables. No smile, no nothing! I ordered a panini and some chips. And 2 glasses of water. Water was Luke warm! The food took 25 mins to arrive. I was about to go up to find what was delay when the shuffling, slouching girl came out with the food. She handed me the plate. She forgot to say plate was hot and it took me by surprise. There was no apology, just a ‘oh, the plates hot’. Chips were hot but the panini was not fully cooked. Should have gone back to say something but at that point I had lost the will to live. As I watched, the shuffling slouching girl was so miserable and rolled her eyes on several occasions. Lost 2 customers here.

So Mum fancied a breakfast and I fancied a Jacket potato, Breakfasts finish at 11:30 when Lunches start. I order Mum's brekkie at 11:29, and tried to order mine but was told I couldn't ordered lunch as it wasn't 11:30 and I actually had to go to the back of the queue and queue again for the sake of less than 1 minute. Jobsworth. Terrible lack of vegan food, Jacket potato, that's your one and only choice.

If you are aiming for a quick coffee and something to eat before or after a supermarket shop then what you see is what you get. It's convenient, pretty quick and does not offend! Coffee was good, service was fine and my lad was happy with the food. Enough said!

My husband and I have been visiting Sainsbury's café for the last year on a regular basis, but the food and service have been steadily declining. This week we visited on a Sunday for breakfast as usual, I chose the toasted t cake which was fine and my husband chose the bacon baguette, "bad choice" the baguette had been cooked till it was inedible...very very dark and very very crispy, without butter I must add, so after attempting to eat it ...and failing...he left most of the baguette and ate the bacon. Also by the time the order came, possibly 15 minutes after ordering our tea was cold, can they not do what other cafes do , take your order and serve the drinks with the food? it's not rocket science! I suggest just visiting for a drink and a cake as they are served together. Anyway, needless to say this is our last visit till they buck their ideas up. One other point, some of the staff uniforms looked like they needed washing and ironing, no excuses as the café had only been opened for 1 hour.

Decided to have lunch here with the children. Not the cheapest cafe I have ever been to for the type of food you receive. I don't know why supermarkets don't make a difference and actually put on better facilities and food. Not much to be said about this place.

Come here once a week with my daughter and food is all ways nice, the staff who work the till are all ways very nice but there is one man who I think dose the food and sometimes brings it out he needs to smile more it's not hard also today when we came there some staff eating in the corner acting like kids and left there table a mess just did not look good. I would say the best staff member you have in the cafe is Lamin he all ways has a smile and is all ways very nice top man top job.

No me impresionó.

I did not expect much from a supermarket cafe, but I must admit, the food is nice with friendly service to complement. Although, do not expect restaurant quality service, any missing condiments or other issues you will have to go to the till. The place can be busy at times and their coffees are also good.

I'm at a complete loss as to the decent reviews this place is getting. The tables are filthy, the staff uninterested, and the food bland and overpriced. I ordered a veggie meal, and was given a meat pie with no explanation and little apology when I pointed out the error. Never going here again.

Husband & I decided to try a breakfast in Sainsbury's cafe last weekend & we were not disappointed. Polite, friendly service, quick & very enjoyable. We both had a full English breakfast, accompanied by large cappucino (for my husband) & regular latte (for me). Food was piping hot, tasty & the drinks were good too. Particularly in the case of the latte I'm please it was a latte rather than a very strong coffee, which seems to be the case in some other establishments.A very enjoyable breakfast for a very reasonable price.

I've been to the café on many occasions for breakfast, the menu is quite limited but it's very good value for money, the one criticism I have is the food is not very hot, in fact on a couple of occasions I visited it was only just warm, this is when I decided that this place was no longer for me as I like my food nice and hot!!

Great place to stop for a bite to eat before you shop. Good selection of food, homely and honest. Gets busy and on the day we were there no one seemed to be clearing tables. I put all the crockery etc on a tray and took it back to the counter politely and didn't complain, but was greeted with a 'look'. Really if you want people to eat your food you need to clear tables for them. Nice little place to meet and I would say normally clean. Most of the staff were nice and friendly, would go again.

We eat here when we do our main shop once a fortnight, it is always good value enjoyable snacks, breakfasts or main meals, tea and coffee and soft drinks all fine, friendly and polite staff and newspapers to read if you require one. We think its better than the average cafe. Also childrens meals are available.

My daughter and I went to Sainsbury's Cafe minutes after opening on a Friday morning. The cafe was extremely quiet, but all the staff were on hand ready to help. We ordered at the till and even though we made choices that were not on the menu board the lady behind the till accepted the order without any problems. The cafe was very clean, and daily newspapers were on hand for anybody wishing to read. Our food was served shortly after the order was placed, the bacon, sausage, and eggs were all cooked well. Only the toast was a slight let down.Good cafe for a quick bite to eat!

Having special dietary requirements can be a challenge when eating out however Becky who has recently started running the pub went out of her way to ensure my requirements were met without the quality of food being affected and remembered my needs for our return visit which was an added personal touch to excellent customer service and attention to detail. Excellent freshly prepared food and lovely local relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with dogs allowed in part of the pub.

It wasn’t a great experience because I got kicked out for entering the pool area when I was underage but I didn’t see why we couldn’t play pool but some guy shouted at me for it but in my opinion what is more dangerous , drinking alcohol or playing pool?
