If this is the best Sainsbury’s can provide with a shop of fresh produce, they are taking the piss

Lovely friendly staff, good food for a very reasonable price and good service

The cafe staff at Sainsbury's deserves a raise, or at least a lifetime supply of free snacks – they're the real MVPs keeping Sainsbury's reputation intact, like gastronomic superheroes in aprons. But hold the groceries! Rumor has it that management decisions are turning cafe staff into endangered species, making the cafe look like a scene from a 'Where's Waldo?' book. Are they aiming for a cafe without coffee or camaraderie? And speaking of top-heavy management, it seems the cafe might be drowning in a sea of bosses. How about swapping some of those top-heavy managers for key workers? We could use more coffee wizards and fewer managerial Gandalfs making decisions that leave everyone scratching their heads. After all, a cafe without its key workers is like a day without caffeine – a true disaster! Rumor has it the Sainsbury's cafe is on a one-way ticket to Cafe Heaven, thanks to some perplexing decisions by management – it's like they're playing a game of "How to Make a Cafe Disappear." And, surprise surprise, Crayford is on a similar caffeine-free rollercoaster. Are they trying to start a trend in cafe vanishing acts? The confusion among cafe customers is reaching new heights – they're scratching their heads so much it's starting to resemble a poorly choreographed dance. The puzzled looks are so intense; they might as well be rehearsing for a "Cafe Closure Ballet." The cafe staff must feel like they're in a coffee-flavored episode of 'The Twilight Zone.' It's like Sainsbury's and Crayford are in a competition for the most head-scratching, eye-brow-raising cafe mysteries. Maybe they're secretly auditioning for a reality show called "Vanishing Cafes: The Brew-tal Truth." But hey, as they say, you don't know what you got until it's gone – who knew cafe drama could be the next blockbuster? Grab your popcorn, or should I say, your espresso beans!

Excellent place to go to eat the food and drink with big windows for bird watching.

The best Harry Ramsdens fish bites and chicken... piping hot and very reasonably priced ..Great service ...thankyou!

Always crowded, food and drink nice but customers don't always clear away the tables that they use so the staff has to clear the mess on the table when they get chance..

Always seem to be out of something fairly fundamental to the menu. On my last visit- no baguettes ! !

Cafe ok but the tables need cleaning more regularly rather than customers doing their own.

They need to have a radical overhaul of how it's manned and managed. There are not enough staff to cope with a busy cafeteria in a large supermarket, and although meals are cooked to order, there are unacceptable delays. I accept that there can be odd slips in service but on three occasions I have had cause to comment or return meals.

Nice cafe, big floor to ceiling windows. Afternoon snack, latte and a scone. Very nice.

Better than most supermarket cafés, not outstanding but very tasty adequate food.

Waited ages for a sausages and mash meal, though it was 3pm on a Saturday and tasty when it arrived

Even though staff are very helpful and polite the waiting time for our food was 15 mins ended up being 50 mins

£2 for a bacon sandwich that is made with bread so thin it falls apart, one bit of raw bacon and enough cheap margarine to render a wall

Just below average for me I'm afraid, the chocolate cake was lovely with a classic lemonade but by the time I was seen too my mum probably did half her weekly shop. I only had 3 people infront ordering a drink n bun each and a nice family let me go ahead thank goodness, 37 weeks pregnant I just wanted to sit down :( shame for a weds afternoon. Will give it another go but I'm in no hurry.

This cafe is limited on the food offering. The music can be loud particularly in the evening staff in the café have no control. According to the signage it appears that they may be doing a refit sometime. Order at the counter and take your drinks and cold foods with you, hot foods brought to the table be sure to display your order number clearly otherwise your food may arrive cold.
