Bangkok Mami in Gravesham

Food used to be really good quality. I had an order delivered and was really disappointed 😞 thai fish cakes were inedible as was the chicken on skewers. The satay sauce was nice. I did contact them via the website but I haven't got a response from them. I rarely have takeaway so it was a treat but I only ended up a couple of things from my order.

For one there are only 2 types of meat not the 3/4 advertised. Also, the rice was mushy and

So we use to like this place until a rude man answered after we had a wrong order we wanted pang nang and we received a red curry he said it’s a different chef that’s why but it was not we love Thai and we know what we had and he refused to deliver the correct curry but now we use issan thats in strood and omg it’s amazing we won’t look back any more

We have been ordering food from here for about 5 years+ now, however, on the past two occasions, we have found a 1 inch metal wire on the food within the container, it had completely put us off the meal! The App is not allowing me to upload photos images. I notified the place immediately , and was told I would have to wait another 45 minutes for the delivery driver to arrive with a new dish. I can empathise with the reviews left by other customers, who had found hair particles in their food. Also the aggressive driver, slim build male, with a light small moustace, and heavy accent: I also found him aggressive and very rude, however, I think he no longer works there hopefully. We will not be ordering from here ever again, as the service is no longer what is used to be. Also, noticed a change in staff, implying possibly negative experiences are due to new and poorly run management.

This place is NOT Thai food. Tom kha soup was just Tom yum. Jungle curry was just Chinese curry and not even remotely like jungle curry. Again another Chinese restaurant labelling dishes as Thai to win custom, yet serving Chinese food though that people in this country are all idiots that wouldn’t know any better. Thai fried rice again just Chinese fried rice!! Extremely disappointing and don’t order from here if you want real thai food!!! If you want bland Chinese or think all Asian food tastes the same then go for it and waste your money

Unfortunately I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken balls, (10) but when I opened the bag there was only 8 balls. Hence only 4 stars for quality! Apart from that everything was fine.

We have ordered form you many times and the food came to us was cold and the taste was not up to scratch. I was was very disappointed haveing been a loyal customer from day one

I don’t really know what to say. It was quite awful. The pad Thai was a congealed lump and everything else was barely edible. Really quite awful.

The dishes labeled spicy are not spicy at all. The masamam lamb curry is very nice however the spicy beef noodles which sounded like some nice dressed up Thai inspired noodles should have just been labeled as chow mein as that's all it was. Pieces of chicken in my basil and chili stir fry were too large and smelt a bit

LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR 3 YEARS, ABUSIVE DELIVERY DRIVER - NEVER AGAIN They’ve hired an abusive driver he came to my door after buzzing up complaining that I hadn’t answered my phone? Anytime Uber eats delivers they always buzz up and come upstairs this weirdo was just too lazy to walk upstairs expecting me to meet him at the door so he didn’t get out of my car! Started raising his voice and wouldn’t back down after I said he’d only buzzed once? Doesn’t matter if you tried calling me you are a delivery driver I have no obligation to meet you at the front of a building!!! Called up Bangkok Mami and they refused to take my side or apologise, I said I’m never ordering from you again your driver is a weirdo they said that’s fine! So to all you women/families ordering from here BEWARE the driver was aggressive, abusive, slim build moustache + heavy accent.. I was genuinely scared luckily my mom was with me! Disgusting

We have been a loyal customer and we loved their food but the customer service we experienced today was appalling! 1. There was a miscommunication with the order and when we called to rectify this the lady on the phone started to yell and say it was our fault. 2. They were having issue with the card reader in the shop and said the drivers will be having another one for the card payment, once the drivers arrived they told us the shop is falsely promising customers they can pay with the card when their system is completely down. The lady on the phone was pretty much yelling and accusing us for lying, even if we have been their loyal customer and would not of wanted to cause any trouble at all. Don’t bother ordering from this restaurant, don’t waste your money!

Very small portions and very expensive. 5 pieces for 7 pounds... The food was burned. I bought it often but no more.

I found hair in my food which is disgusting I will never order again from this takeaway.

Ordered via just eat, delivery late so called restaurant, told delivery person attempted delivery, he didn't as I have CCTV showing no one turned up, then told I was called several times but no calls on my phone. Given the complete run around with a terrible service for food that never arrived. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Possibly the worst Thai food I have ever eaten.

The service is at Bangkok Mami is APPALING. I wouldn't trust this place with my money. I ordered through their website which had a £5 discount for a first order. Total cost on checkout was £19.90, I opted to pay by cash on delivery. When the delivery driver arrived, he said it was £24.90, and he showed me a receipt saying the same. I called the restaurant, and the lady on the phone told me that I still had to pay £24.90 even though the website total told me £19.90. She even said this has happened to people many times before as the website is 'glitchy'! If they know it's a problem with the website, surely they should honour the price at checkout? She refused! She told me she had spoken to the manager who agreed I should pay the £24.90. I asked to speak to the manager, and then magically the manager (who she had JUST spoken to) was 'not there'. I decided to give the food back. I then got a call 5 mins later saying that she had spoken to the manager again who said I could pay £19.90. What kind of nonsense is this? You can't just make up prices once someone has already checked out and then refuse to honour the price! I won't be ordering again.

AMAZING pad thai cooked to perfection. Came in for a quick bite, served in minutes, lovely staff; taste perhaps even better than Rosa's Thai and Royal Siam (pad thai dish). Now my no. 1 spot for SHRIMP PAD THAI!!!!

Food near on cold when it eventually arrived, told it will be an hour but waited 1hour 45, food was too salty, crispy aromatic duck was as crispy as a soggy cornflake just dreadful

Just plain dreadful. Limited menu when compared to other Chinese restaurants. The food that I ordered was not the food that was delivered. We were told 1 hour, which became 1.5 hours. Food was like warm and stodgy. Worse Chinese I've had. Plus, I thought this was the Jade Garden which was once a good restaurant. Now it's the Bangkok Mami! Poor girl on the phone was put in an awful position when I had to chase the order. There are far better options in Gravesend.

I specifically said no nuts due to my husband having a severe allergy. His face was swollen after having just one bite. They clearly added crushed nuts to the pad thai. When we phoned to complain we were told "sorry these things happen"...It really wasn't good enough, the lady couldn't care less. She refused to refund the food. She took my phone number and said a manager would call, I'm yet to receive that call. People can die from allergies, it's really not acceptable. Will never eat from here again

Fresh, good portions, great flavours. We tried it for the first time today and will be definitely ordering from this place again. Unsure of all those low scores I can see on reviews but from me personally 5 stars. It was delicious.

Terrible. Waited 2 hours and no explanation as to where my delivery was. Asked to cancel the order and they refused.

Tried this for the first time. Sauces were delicious. The chicken green curry sauce was amazing. The Chinese beef curry was very tasty. Rice went very well with both sauses. Will definitely be ordering again. Also. It was delivered on time. 🙂

I've yet to taste the meal as it was estimated to arrive yesterday at 8pm, a day later and nothing still. . No contact from the restaurant and their number has been stuck on busy. If you can't deliver on NYE don't show that you're available on the apps. I got a full refund from ubereats but the restaurant still didn't contact me. I ended up ordering from thumbs who I'd ordered from before. Being "busy" on NYE isn't an excuse if I ordered from thumbs 2 hours after these guys and they delivered

Pre ordered at 6pm for delivery at 8pm. Currently 10.30pm and order still has not arrived. Tried to ring restaurant but no answer. Have called 593 times but continuously busy. Would never order again. Absolutely horrific customer service.

This out new go to Thai/ Oriental takeaway. Decent value for portion size. Only gripe is that the fried rice is extremely bland. So bland that we have to give the chef instructions on how to make itI and don’t mean this in a fussy way either. The beef in black bean sauce is the best I’ve had anywhere. As I said, shame about the rice! Otherwise an easy 5*

First time ordering from this restaurant, have literally just finished our meal and had to write a review! Absolutely loved it, tastes amazing! Recommend the calamari. staff are professional and the place had high standards of hygiene. Will be definitely ordering again!

Dont mind this place at all... food is good, and nice customer service... I think their location let them down a bit otherwise they would have smashed it by now, still sure they will but might take a bit longer to get going.

Our first order tonight and won’t be our last, the quality and taste of the food was excellent, panang curry was lovely, pad Thai tasty and plenty of it, accompanied by sticky rice, duck spring rolls and spicy prawns. Delicious 😋 . One of the best takeaways we’ve had in a long time, can’t wait for the next 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We ordered here as a last minute thing. We had aromatic crispy duck which came all diced up... we prefer to shed the duck. They supplied us with 2 dishes that we didn't order which was very kind. One was sesame prawn toast which was amazing. The other was a soup which was neither here nor there for us. We also ordered King Prawns in oyster sauce which was ok. Then special fried rice which was totally dry and tasteless....no sauce. Just plain and drab. We also ordered King Prawn Pad Thai.... it was so awful that I couldn't even separate it and ended up chopping it into pieces just to get it out and make it somewhat edible. I wouldn't recommend this place although maybe some of their food may be edible. On the positive.... our foxes had a good feed on Thai and I'm positive that they didn't care what it tasted like.

Our first visit here today and we had a very good experience. The decor is very lovely and vibrant, and good customer service. Now, the food is very lovely.
