Excellent breakfast, helps with the preperation to doing the weekly shopping!

The service was the best bit. Really pleasant young woman, friendly and smiling and talked and chatted whilst getting my order. First class. The eggs and ham not so good very disappointing. Next time I will try the beer battered fish and chips. I hope Jess is there again, she was superb.

Menu reduced due to shortage of ingredients but there's a lot of this everywhere. Had a enjoyable big breakfast meal though.

Managed to find breakfast on Sunday morning...

Ordered toasted teacake...with tea, wasn't happy to see the member of staff at till handling money and handling my food....teacake without gloves.

Christmas dinner, ran out of stuffing, offered no replacement and no deduction off price - poor. Also how can a cafe in a supermarket run out of anything. Very poor.

Cannot fault the food or service this morning, Mondays are generally unpleasant but the staff have helped kick start my week for sure. Thanks ladies!

Honestly, the cuisine is passable for the most part. Every time I visited, my family and I ate the same dinner (full English for 4). The dinner was cold and had an unpleasant taste when I went this time, giving me a stomachache. Food amount decreased while food costs increased. Even though we tried to negotiate with the staff for something besides bacon, like a tomato, they didn't have any sausages, so we received bacon instead. Another thing is that there should have been a notice stating that there were no sausages available so I could have ordered something else, but many customers were complaining about the meal not being adequate, including a lack of roast chicken, sausages, and even silverware, ect.

had two brownies, 1 cola and a coffee and it came to £8! not good value for money - brownies were dry, coffee was weak

Went to the store on Thursday only went in for 2 plates of chips and they got the order wrong !! Chips were cold just very poor quality they looked so pale just rubbish !!!

What has happened to Sainsbury’s cafe, Melton Rd. It used to be a lovely cafe to eat and drink. It seems to be running now with hardly any staff. You have to wait while one person who is serving is also having to make the drinks. It’s not fair on the one person behind the counter. Come on Sainsbury’s get more staff, no wonder the place is half empty.

Food OK but nothing special. Service fairly good and didn't have to wait long for hot food. Expected to be busier on a Sunday!

Painfully slow service. In queue for 15 minutes and then another 20 minute wait for 2 breakfasts after being served. Clean and tidy and food ok but not worth the wait for a supermarket breakfast.

Half an hour wait for a child's jacket potato. Complete joke

Its ok, this was the bigger breakfast, which wasnt that big at all for its price, and the service was terrible. Ordered this and was waiting for the second persons for a while, when it arrived it was not correct so it took a while for then to sort it.

Staff were nice but their cafe is understaffed and they struggled with demand. Food was nice though.

Love to shop here, store has everything you need even clothing

Only wanted coffee and doughnuts but coffee machines were having maintenance so service was slow.

Love the serving staff but im afraid the food is dismal i ordered an omelette which resembled a yellow piece of rubber the baked beans were cold and stuck to the plate i sent it back and was given fresh beans but ill stick to coffee and pastries from now on

Lovely surroundings, nice atmosphere & happy friendly staff 😃 Kids meal - good value for money. Jacket Potato was luke warm but okay. Sausage & Mash pretty good. The range of gluten free products in the supermarket, not reflected in cafe. Would be nice to see variety in these areas. Also the treats were really expensive, considering they're own brand and can be bought in store, for example 1 X Cookie £1.30 in cafe. Versus 5x Cookies in store £1.10 😑

Had a lovely breakfast but it cost me an extra 70p for mushrooms and I got 1 mushroom on a side plate. I mean.. Come on!!

Never ever enough staff on. 1 member of staff to take orders & make hot drinks...resulting in ridiculous queues & a long wait.

Someone needs to check the dishwasher at this site. Half the knives still had food on them when I was there today. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

Great coffee, decent size children's meals,air con makes it too cool to sit comfortably for me
