Sainsbury's in Greenwich

The staff at the Newbury store bully there own staff and individual customers, there managers dont give a toss about welfare or health of individuals there only care about making turn over profits, they keep there store unclean, and they take on food orders, when they don’t have the staff to deal with it. Please avoid the business where possible they also discriminate against anyone with a disability, whenever a customer wants to use a till they make you use self service the business sainsburys is no fit state to run itself, the business should be closed down everyone resign & leave sainsburys don’t shop there, They also don’t help with anything they have rules which are obscene when ever there is a faulty product and don’t refund it, they don’t believe the customer there staff slag off the customer, including when they have autism. The business also makes me fill suicidal. The stores you should avoid are sainsburys Newbury, Sainsbury Thatcham / Sainsburys Calcot

in January 2021, we are in another lockdown, if you want COVID 19, go to Sainsburys Islington. you can walk around without a face mask, lean over others, if you are challenged by other customers, as the Staff won't challenge this behaviour then staff also accept their customers being threatened and don't do anything, . in essence not COVID 19 safe despite what CEO is saying about it in the press.

Fui a la tienda la semana pasada y descubrí que el funcionamiento de la tienda era algo descuidado. ¡Los cajeros pobres tenían que gritar a todo pulmón para atraer la ayuda de otros colegas para obtener códigos de barras, etc.! ¡La gerencia parecía caminar sin rumbo fijo! ¡La alarma sigue sonando sin razón aparente y realmente me duelen los oídos! Travelator no funciona de nuevo! ! ! Los ascensores volvieron a fallar. ¡No es muy profesional ver a los cajeros tener que gritar para obtener ayuda! He estado en otras tiendas de Sainsburys y se ejecutan de manera muy diferente. ¡Una experiencia mucho mejor en general! No volveré a ir allí

Esta es una nueva tienda que es muy grande y tiene una buena selección de ropa, artículos para el hogar y electricidad, así como una buena selección de comestibles cerca de autobuses y estaciones con estacionamiento subterráneo con servicio de ascensores y escaleras mecánicas.

Fuimos a la cafetería y, aunque estaba ocupado, el personal era muy amable y servicial y el servicio rápido. La tienda en sí tiene un ambiente encantador y, de nuevo, el personal hace todo lo posible para que se sienta especial al pasar por la caja. Uno de los miembros del personal merece un reconocimiento especial por su amabilidad y profesionalidad, y su nombre es Lynne. Ella siempre tiene una sonrisa genuina y no es falsa en absoluto y parece realmente feliz de verte. Siempre me siento feliz cuando me atiende esta hermosa dama y les digo a mis amigos y familiares que se aseguren de que puedan ser atendidos por esta dama, ya que ella tiene la cualidad de hacerte sentir importante.

El excelente servicio, no está mal, las opciones gratuitas al gluten, el café era bueno y útil para pellizcar mientras compraba gente buena.

Went in the other morning ordered a fried egg 🥚 roll the lady got a double yoke she was fair pleases with herself and very attentive to bring it out on one piece she was very professional and I. Was one happy chappy😀😀😀

Fantastic cafe cum restaurant with helpful staff, menu is good, varied and reasonable in price! Coffee machine sometimes breaks down but new machine on order , due to contract end, which means you can purchase your frappe or coffee beverages happily! Breakfasts are great, lunches and dinners too! Tried majority of menu , all dishes I have eaten , are great! Service is swift, the dishes are taken to your table once the number is ready. Great accessibility for wheelchair and prams.

The cafe is ok. Nothing special at all really. Been here a few times for something quick to eat. The food is average. Some of the staff are quite nice but others are quite rude and don't make you feel very comfortable. Every time I go in here, they haven't had what I planned to order which isn't good at all.

Not had hot food but the coffee and teas are very good. Need to purchase cake/sandwiches in the cafe otherwise it can be pointed out to you that you must eat what you purchase in the cafe not the supermarket! Loads of people have the breakfast which look lovely. Lots of the workmen fro Crossrail go in there for hot food so it can’t be bad. Give it a go and write a review.

Wether it be to just to eat before you shop so you don't over load your trolley or catch up with a friend for coffee and cake after shopping. This clean comfortable canteen is an excellent option.

This store saved us on our London trip. We weren't expecting to find a local place for just groceries so close to our apartment. They had everything we looked for and then some. The deli is exceptional!

This is a recent addition to the chain of Sainsbury's stores. The restaurant is situated on the first floor along with the supermarket isles. Access to the first floor is served by a couple of lifts (from the car park which is situated below the shop), and one of those moving conveyor belts that welds your shopping trolley wheels to it. The toilets are located behind the restaurant. As the restaurant is on the corner of the building and the exterior walls comprise of glass, it benefits from having a double aspect view. From one side you can see the tops of the chalets on the permanent gypsy site. As your vision moves from left to right you are greeted with a busy roundabout and finally, the BP filling station comes into sight. If you are lucky, as you dine you will enjoy the lawless gypsies racing their horse & carts up the road causing havoc with the traffic. In addition, the grass area just in front of the 1970's concrete jungle makes great feeding for the gypsies horses, and these can also be seen as you enjoy your meal. The restaurant suffers from some weird acoustics which result in lots of background noise being ever-present. Throw in a small screaming child and that's your meal ruined. Unfortunately, the area suffers from a high degree of poor parenting skills which means this happens quite frequently, with the mother being totally unaware/not giving a damn about the impact her sprog is having on other diners. The staff are always pleasant and the service is great. I don't know how they manage to cook the food so quickly. The fish and chips is the choice to go for and it's really good value for money.
