Good service, good food, nice place - random belly dancing video on large screen at the back but overall we were pleasantly surprised considering the location just off brick lane. We had the shared Mezza platters, and the food was some of the nicest Moroccan/ Lebanese food I had ever had - the flavours were amazing.

Went here with my partner using my Taste London Card.. It was actually recommended to me by a friend who spoke very highly of the atmosphere and traditional Moroccan cuisine. I must say I was disappointed.Upon arrival (around 7pm) the place was completely empty. The décor and ambience is nice. Traditional Moroccan atmosphere in regards to decoration and music which is nice and does add to the experience. For starters I ordered the King Prawns in Moroccan Harissa spice and my partner the Calamari. For one the portions were tiny... Literally 3 prawns per portion topped with harissa. for £6 I expected maybe slightly more. The calamari was soggy and lacked flavour and again the portion was ridiculously small. For main course I ordered a chicken tagine and my partner the lamb cutlets. The tagine was advertised with Olives and saffron of which there was none in the dish. The lamb chops were very fatty and slightly overdone. They were tasty but to much fat can ruin the dish.Again the portions of the main course in my opinion were to small.I have been to Morocco and stayed at a traditional Moroccan house with traditional Moroccan cooking and the food here unfortunately doesn’t live up to that standard. The service was average.Overall average food but for what it is and the portion sizes I would say overpriced.Wouldn't eat here again and I am yet to find a Moroccan restaurant in London that lives up to the aroma and tastes of Marrakech and the Sahara.

Came here with kgb voucher. We came in and te place was half empty on a saturday evening, which was strange. We were seated and the atmosphere is nice, with traditional music playing and decor to match (nothing fancy though). The meal: we took the shared mezza (a rip off), with little selection... The main was lamb skewers which were good (grilled in a nice way) with rice. Sauce was nice as well. All accompained with a glass of wine (legit quality) and a glass of cranberry juice. The guy serving us (which I assume the owner) is a dodgy character but polite and welcoming.Top tips: Go only with the voucher2. Avoid the shared mezza

Had not been to this area or restuarant before but when I saw a £19 Groupon for a two course meal with wine for 2 people thought it was worth a try. We booked early (6pm) and when we arrived the restuarant was quite quiet. The decor with subdued lighting, pillows creates a nice atmosphere and a belly dancing video was playing on the back wall. We were offered house red white Moroccan wine and selected a sharing meze as a starter and a tagines for main. The meze was very tasty with 7 different types and was served with dark crusted and soft homemade bread. The tagines served in traditional dishes and contained tasty meats in rich sauce served with more bread. We finished the meal with a pot of mint tea served in authentic looking silver teapot and poured into tea glasses. The tea was already sugared which was fine for us. Throughout the meal the service was very good. Overall we very much enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere, the Groupon deal made the meal excellent value.

Ate at Efes pizza across the street from restaurant. Never had a Turkish pizza so figured when in London… a little like a flatbread pizza but shaped like a boat. Was not too bad, gave you a couple dipping sauces to go with it.
