Sahara in South Lanarkshire

Ordered around 5pm - ordered arrived at around 6.15pm. My order was missing items and what food I did get was luke warm. I called the shop to ask them to send my missing items to be told they would send them but couldn't give me a time frame because they were run of their feet. It is now the next day and those missing items never turned up so the owner and his shop workers have chosen not to send the missing items. It is clear the shop couldn't handle the amount of orders they were receiving and were rushing the orders leading to mistakes and cold food. An absolute disgrace. I would just avoid and take your custom elsewhere especially if it's a delivery order.

Ordered a take away for delivery at 16.47 called several times final call 18.26 and order was out for delivery .. 19.35 still no sign of food. Very disappointing, they could have been honest and said we weren’t getting our order. Use saharas regularly. Would have picked up but they said originally it would be 20/30minutes for delivery. Very disappointing.

I placed an online order at 5.14pm on Friday 24th January, I received this order at 6pm and was missing part of it. I contacted at 6.02pm and was told I would get the order. I then called at 6.55pm and the order still hadn’t been paid, I then called again at 7.34 and again the order still hadn’t been made. I then called for a third time at 8.14 to be again told the order still wasn’t ready. I asked to speak to the owner and was told he’s wasn’t speaking to anyone due to already having multiple complaints. Not professional at all and an absolute joke. I have now had to cancel my order which has already been fully paid for and not offered as much as a refund.

Went in for a bottle of tonic and the luvly and polite ginger haired lady behind the counter couldn’t be any more helpful. Great customer service

Shocking looking to order on the phone just to make it quicker to get home and wouldn’t take my order unless I went in. The woman was so arrogant as well. Then when I went in I confronted the owner about it I said it was a disgrace and don’t see what the issue was with ordering online and told me to leave so he was called a few select words then went for me but crapped himself when I put my hands up and told him come on then shows the type of establishment they have. Pizzas are ready made bases as well doesn’t look as if they make anything fresh some takeaway

Placed an order but the calazone was not like any i had seen and the rice was missing.. Called to question these problems was greeted with attitude and told that was how they did calazone. Fair enough i said but what about the missing rice? They put the phone down on me. They need to improve customer service.

Just had the worst meal ever chicken pakora that would break your teeth cold pizza and kebab with a solid man bread. Won't be back. For the price it was rubbish

Never had a bad curry or pizza from here. Occasionally the lamb can be a bit tough so that's why it's not a five star review. Overall one of the better takeaway offerings in Carluke

Ordered the tikka grill pizza which has chicken and lamb tikka, tomatoes and mushrooms. I asked for it without the mushrooms which was no problem. The toppings were great and very tasty, only downside was the pizza base and the cheese which wasn’t that great but overall not a bad pizza.
