Selected a delivery time and arrived bang on time. Place a large order for my daughter’s birthday and everything tasted amazing. Couldn’t fault a single thing. Arrived with extra accompaniments. Great service and great food👍

absolutely shocking, 2 hours waiting for food

Estimated delivery was 20:20, then changed to 20:40, at 20:40 it was marked down as delivered by Saffron when we rang to enquire where our order was they told us it was on the way, we mentioned that it showed as delivered but was completely ignored

I had to call twice for an update on the delivery. food took over 2 hours 35mins to arrive which is a shame as we loved the place. need for improve on staffing

took over 3 hours to deliver something that tasted worse than the dogs dinner!! garlic bread cos cold and soggy clearly had been stood a while. absolutely useless on the phone every time I rang they said the driver left 2 mins ago and still waisted nearly an hour to deliver an 8minute drive!! will never order from here again!!!!!

first time ordering from here, but certainly won't be the last, portion plentiful, we'll presented, delivered hot and fresh, very tasty, plenty of chicken in the curry, rice really fresh. one bit of constructive feedback is that the poppadom looked like a hippopotamus had sat on it, but that may have been during delivery. overall a positive experience

delivery on time and food is always hot. food is tasty and worth it's money. this is my favourite Indian now x

worst Indian food I have ever had

Can not recommend Saffron enough. They always go above and beyond following meal instructions. Every time we receive curries bursting with flavour and hot everyone delivery arrives. Delivery driver also very friendly.

They take your money and don't deliver

We had food from saffron before and it’s been lovely but tonight it was the worse Indian we’ve had. No flavour. No garlic on garlic naan also think it’s all warmed in microwave as while I was waiting for my order all I could hear was the microwave pining. Won’t be ordering from here again

Delivery times are getting better!

About 8 mins after the estimated delivery time we got a message saying they were on there way, 30 mins later it still hadn't arrived, called them up and they said they we're just packing it up and waiting for the driver. Another 15 to arrive.Abysmal.

food arrived late the order said be with me 23:35 expected 20:30 - 20:50 arrivied 21:02 order korma egg fried rice which were bearly warm and vegetable spring rolls got 3 tiny spring rolls for 4.54 extortion will not be ordering again

Just love this place, I have to have a vindaloo once a week and they make it just how I like it!!

The food was inedible. The meat was not chicken as ordered and it all went in the bin.

Ordered a takeaway and the food was inedible. Supposed to be chicken but it wasn’t like any chicken I’ve ever had.

Recently started ordering here and can say I’m never going back. Everything is delivered fresh and with good quantity. Bursting full of flavour, can not recommend enough 😍

driver gave my order to someone else, saying someone approached him mentioning the takeaway name and my order number. clearly lying to cover the fact he didn't do proper checks.

order was best part of 2hours late. 90 percent cold and tasted of very little.

Ordered at 7:30pm, said it would be delivered by 8:40. Rung to chase and they said it was leaving them now, we live 15 mins away if that. Half an hour later still wasn’t here so rung again to be told that the driver was pulling into the estate as we speak and they don’t do refunds of any kind but they have extra poppadoms in for us. Had to ring again 6 minutes later as it still wasn’t here. All in all, took over 2 hours to come and we didn’t get any poppadoms! Never again

From order to received food over 2 hours! Was estimated 1 hour to 1hr 20mins Rang to find out where food was, was told be there in 9-10 mins but still took a further 30minutes - Food luke warm and korma sauce runny - Not impressed

Over an hour and a half late so was 2 and a half hours to arrive tandoori naan was lovely rest of food was luke warm and driver left gate wide open when sign clearly say please close as we have a dog not great service and we spent nearly £60 so won’t be a returning customer

Food was ordered at 7.10 with an estimated time of delivery of 8.15-8.35. Had a message at approximately 9pm to say the courier was on the way. At 9.30, I rang to find out what was happening and was told the driver always 4-5 minutes away. The order eventually arrived at 9.50. 2 and half hours after it had been ordered. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and had to be reheated. I noticed on the app, it says that food was delivered at 8.20 which was not accurate whatsoever!

Nice good but not great service

The food wasn’t great though. The biryani had Brussel sprouts in which I thought was strange. The food was under seasoned, both the lamb biryani and veg biryani lacked a lot of flavour. The fried egg was just an over boiled egg. And the salad warm Because it was in the same container as the rice. The delivery was a few minutes late but that’s fine.

Food arrived 30 minutes late and was luke warm so had to be reheated. Had to chase with the restaurant a couple of times as was initially told 5 mins and had to ring back 15 mins later to be told it'll be 2 mins. It's a shame our experience this time was poor because it's our 2nd time ordering after we really enjoyed the 1st :(

food was in general very nice. spicey chips were soggy but tasty. curry dishes were good, hot and loads of meat. complimentary poppadoms and dips too. if on time and chips were better it would be full stars. would try ordering again

The food is usually good but the delivery is always an issue. Tonight it was an hour late. The worst food we’ve ever had from there and it was flat cold. Ho and the driver delivers at 22:29 an hour late blaring music out! Shocking service today

the lamb balti was really nice and the rice unfortunately the nan's and onion bajis was cold but the lamb was lovely. only issue delivery time as we are not that far away

Most disgusting takeaway I’ve ever tasted korma was curdled and the tikka was full of water the korma tasted rotten do not buy it’s the biggest waste of money

Expected 20.05 arrived 20.56. I can say that the customer service is diabolical, I would have never ordered from here if I knew this was the case . I won't order here again. The food is the best out of a bad bunch it is MID I have to add salt.

Lovely food! Placed a huge order for my daughter’s birthday, everything tasted divine with huge quantities. Flavour explosion, even gave complimentary items with the order. Will be back soon!

rice was lovely curry have no taste doesn't even taste of Tika it tasted powdery like shop bought I think the lamb chops were a little bit deer too expensive two for four pound eighty nothing special either I could have cooked better at home

Chicken jalfrezi tasted full of flavour. Pilau rice cooked well and aromatic. The lady who delivered our food was polite. Just eat app easy to navigate and will definitely be using Saffron again!

Absolute joke of a place. Rang to ask how long got told 10 minutes rang 20 minutes later to be told 10 minutes again. It’s been 35 minutes and still no food!!

Food was labelled as delivered on just eat when no food had arrived . We called the restaurant and they said it was a minute away. 15 minutes later we called again and they said no no 1 minute away the food then arrived 20 minutes later. Once we got the food it was freezing cold so not edible and the lamb pasanda smelt like it was gone off food and had a consistency of curdled milk.

Changed delivery time but was worth the extra half hour wait. 1st time ordering from here ad food was lovely. Good price too. We will order from here again x

The chicken tikka jalfrezi was very tasty. Two samosas included which was a nice surprise.

The food was delivered over an hour late and although warm, it definitely felt it had been cooling off while being delivered, other than that the food was great but delivery was unfortunately a little disappointing.

If ya hungry and you want a meal within a hour don’t bother ordering from here 2 hours later and I’m still waiting it’s ridiculous

First time trying and didn’t look at reviews before ordering. Have to say our experience was a good one. Food was tasty and there was plenty of it. Thanks for not letting us down.

Starters were cold as not in foil container just in paper bag. Main meal rice was hot but sauce Luke warm had to reheat in microwave

Well over an hour late than the eta … app was set to delivered on the due time …. Called and they said it would be next delivery . 45 mins later still no food …. Called again to be told driver left 5 mins ago and the app must have been set to delivered by mistake … likely story …15 mins later still no food . Worst service ever never again

Ordered the set meal for one which was good value delivery was about 10 minutes late which is acceptable nice friendly delivery driver. I thought the quality of the food wasn't good the onion salad wasn't cut very fine, the onion bhajis were bland and stodgy the pilau rice was nice and well cooked but the chicken dopiaza was lacking flavour but there was plenty of chicken in it. If I order from here again I think I would probably order of the menu and not the set meal.
