Hot, tasty and very good value with excellent service.

This is apparently a local legend so thought I'd give it a try. Lots of 5 star reviews - not sure how as my food was inedible. Chips were soggy and tasteless - looked and tasted more like something you'd get from a poor burger place and had no resemblance to the usual chinese chips, egg fried rice was more like boiled rice and had never seen an egg and the chicken was completely tasteless. Even the dogs struggled to eat the so called chicken. Maybe an off day but very definitely not for me and felt like somebody English, making a very poor attempt at cooking Chinese.

Food was shocking and cold and was nearly 2 hours late, iv emailed several times and had no reply about my order or the fact I paid for items that went straight in the bin. If you want to sort this out I expect a response to my email

The food was delicious. We were well impressed. Satay sauce on the chicken skewers is the nicest I have had from any Doncaster Chinese. Have finally found a nice Chinese. All local ones seem to have really gone downhill since covid, but we really enjoyed every bit of this takeaway it was beaut. Portion sizes are decent, and all food was hot and tasty with a good share of meat in the portions. We will defo be making this our new place to go for a decent Chinese.

The food is Chinese. I have tried it before and it is good, but it lacks cleanliness

Amazing service. Very quick delivery. Food came hot as it should be. Fresh and tasty. Duck was really tender along with the ribs. Will definitely reorder from this place .. 100% recommended place to receive fresh food and friendly service.

Really wanted some chicken fried rice, and this place has always been a good one to choose from until now. The other day, I ordered rice and chips. The chips were undercooked, the rice was woefully under seasoned, and I found long black hairs in my rice and in my chips. I'm really disappointed I will not b going here again

Couldn't fault it superb Chinese! Had Monday night as our regular was closed. Did not disappoint, was here in 30 minutes. Got a free drink and prawn crackers!

This is without a doubt that nicest food I have had in a long time. Plenty of meat. Set meal for 1 person will feed 2 easily. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Worst Chinese I've had You replied you were closed . Rubbish ,I’m not stupid chicken with pineapple,little chicken water for sauce and a ton of green peppers to keep it cheep Soggy chicken balls etc

Curry tastes like perfume when you ring up to complain they argue no end with you not one to put bad reviews but I have literally wasted my money 6 of us had it and all tasted perfume not happy at all

Food was absolutely delicious!!!! and fresh. We have ordered on Valentines Day and it was made in no time. We collected on time, hot and very tasty. It is the only Chinese I know that understands some people are vegan and created tofu dishes to reflect that, which I am grateful for. I am so happy I got their leaflet through the door, it is now my new favourite Chinese.

I visited my friend in Bentley and ordered dinner meal in this new grand open Chinese takeaway. After chatting, I knew that it was opened recently and the menu also changed because of new boss. We have 1chicken balls, 1 crispy chili beef and 2 special fried rice, £23.5 in total. Large meal, good price and flavor, Order online also convenient. strong recommend!

Removed their best dish, Mongolian lamb and their "special fried rice" is £7.15 and from any other Chinese take away would be a £4 yeung chow! Also, if you have a prawn allergy and ask foe no prawns, they completely ignore! Spent over £50 on the quality of food that would have been £1 a tray from Farmfoods! NEVER again! Delivered by a small child, to a vulnerable household DURING a pandemic!!!

Well what can i say dont order!!! The gravy rubbish!! Burger rubbish!! Singapore chow mein horrible prawn toast tasted weird! I will never order from there again.

The worst Chinese meal ever, the Singapore noodles were more like curry, never before have I had wet Singapore noodles. Managed 2 mouth fulls before it ended up in the bin.

Absolutely disgusting, firstly when we collected the food there was a money spider crawling around inside the bag, then when we got home to eat it and took the lids off it absolutely stunk of manure it made me feel sick to the stomach, the rice tasted like it was out of a 2 minute microwavable packet, the chicken tasted fake and all I could taste was the flour in the batter, the chips were burnt and the spare ribs barely had a string of meat on absolute waste of money!

Doesn't even deserve one star. The food was horrendous, I tried a bit of each as I took lids off and it all went straight in the bin and was cold, the noodles were stuck together with glue it seemed and smelt and tasted funky, the chips were burnt and the salt and pepper chicken was fake chicken sprinkled with some sort of powder. I ordered as a treat and it has put me off food. Big Dees stands for For Big Dissapointment

Reluctantly have to grade it but struggle to even rate it one star, Big Dee more like Big Disappointment, most of the overpriced stodgy food like remains when into the bin, everything is prepared in a gravy like substance that makes all the food taste very similar, please don't use this establishment, it'll save you money, your taste buds and digestive system, have a pot noodle instead and I'm not joking, they can't even cook a portion of plain noodles, they've been boiled that long and then been subjected to this gravy type gunge that they have no texture left whatsoever just very very soft and tasteless so they then add the cheap ingredient bean sprouts to try and resuscitate even plain noodles, a disgrace to the industry, just eat should sod them right off. Big Dee you ought to be ashamed.

Well our usual lucky 6 is closed, tried Big dee. Ordered online at 16.42 we were eating our food at 17.10 delivered, absolutely great mushroom curry highly recommended. Definitely will using Big dee in future.

This place is generally always busy, which is a good sign. They've been going for 30 years under the same ownership, which must make them one of the longest-running Chinese takeaways in Donny. Generally worth the wait, if quoted a wait time more than 45 mins, might be quicker and easier to pickup. Thanks for being my favourite Chinese Takeaway for the last 30 years!

Disgusting I work hard for a treat and this was and is the worst Chinese I have ever had you should be ashamed of yourselves never again!!

Paid for delivery that don’t even deliver to my door plus the food is nasty and cold by the time it had arrived. When a product is sold as chilli gravy I thought it meant gravy with a bit of a kick, thick red glue arrived instead of gravy!

Worst chinese iv ever had food was disgusting and to top it off it was 1hour 45mins later. TERRIBLE

This Takeaway has definitely improved since my last review, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. This time there were free prawn crackers with my order which may seem standard but you sure miss them when they aren't included. Still no Callander and I've ordered every Chinese new year for the last 3 years.

This was the worst most dirstest food that iv ever tasted complete rubbish I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog extremely rude staff and greasy food disgusting and i think the shreeded beef was definitely not beef and you could stand a spoon up in the curry it was absolutely disgusting and I wouldn’t eat out of it ever again

You call that chow mein?? Even my dog (who eats chow everyday) would not 'chow' on that. Ciao (phonetically thats chow, ya get it??) But on a serious note would not eat again.

Excellent service their food is cooked to order from the finest produce and ingredients, unlike many take aways their kitchen is open so their high standards can be witnessed by all who visit. And their generous portion of skillfully made food will never fail to delight the taste buds

Big Dee's has long been established as one of the main Chinese takeaway consideration's in Bentley when wanting that type of food, over the past ten years that has changed with competition increasing in the local area. The menu has changed a fair bit and the taste of the food consequently. It's a little bit of a "hit or miss" type of place, It's either really nice or really nasty. I roll the dice now and again and see if It's nice? Average ratio I have found is 50:50. The owners and staff are very friendly and do a good job, delivery is usually very quick and the food is always piping hot. Final word: Not consistent enough. It's frustrating ordering and finding the taste of the same food you ordered previously has changed significantly this time around. I don't order as much as I used to but I still have a dabble now and again, when it's good its great.... It's just when it isn't that sucks. Choice is yours!

Absolutely disquisting ... Wud not waste your time or money .... They pre cook and warm it up in microwave .... Very poor service.. went straight in bin ... And ordered from else wear MANKY ....
