Literally the best curry in the area. I've tried all the other Indian takeaways...this is the best.

Been ordering from Saffron regularly for years but the food has become so spicy, to the point where you can’t taste anything. My family feel the same way unfortunately. Usually it’s very tasty with great service.

I have ordered from here on and off for years and never had a problem however this time when I ordered I had a lamb biryani it was so stodgy and was not nice at all I couldn’t eat it. Was disappointed

Just had a takeaway of chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi and vegetable rice, plus naan - all tasted freshly cooked and such flavoursome dishes - lovely touch of complimentary bites - thank you so much! Will definitely be back!

The delivery took far too long! Over half an hour late and I was not happy about this at all! No explanation from the driver just basically dumped and ran!

Have been using this restaurant since moving to the area had always been good fast delivery and nice food. Apart from tonight unfortunately delivery time changed and food was not the usual quality such a shame

Amazing place, delicious food. So glad I found it, I used to order from curry Mahal and never again, after so many mess ups with the food either cold or not tasty, I’m so happy with this place.

The staff are the most nicest people I have ever met always friendly. The food is amazing with good portion size. The tikka masala is 10/10. Would definitely recommend this place

Far to sweet I couldn’t even eat all my butter chicken! Naan, samosas, rice, and onion Bahji was very good though

Quick delivery but food was cold, bland and portions were extremely small.

The prawn curry was not tasty at all. It has a strange texture and was extremely coconutty. It was lovely to receive a few bajis and pappodums, but on the whole, the meal was way too expensive for the quality.

I have no idea how they are still open! Food is burnt & rock solid! Had to just throw it away. Avoid avoid avoid!

I’ve used this takeaway restaurant for years now, the food is always excellent. Hot, fresh and tasty. The tarka dhaal and paneer tikka shashlick are my favourites. Very friendly service too. Best Indian food in the area.

Lamb curry had no flavour at all, saag paneer was over spiced with cardamom, not nice at all. Only nice thing was chicken korma. Food was let down this time unfortunately

Shame the food had no salt at all the cook forgot to put the salt in curries and the amount of the curry and side was so much less as it’s prices Too much yellow in curry as well. Honestly I should have called the restaurant but I was so frustrated and I just gave up

Been to so many Asian restaurants and being Indian myself you know what to aspect when ordering. The quality of the food was not to the basic Indian standards as a general consensus to the quality, spices and sizes only making you believe you are eating something authentic but only being fooled to the customers who order from here. Have also seen the pass review comments only coming from the white community making me believe this restaurant has cornered this market with this acquired method. ** I don't want you to come back and tell me "I should of given you my taste preferences" that's not how it works. Sorry to say this will not be my preference again from a first time experience.

Only bad thing was we ordered 3 Keema Naans, only two delivered. All these delivery companies need to check before the food leaves. Also I think a receipt should be sent with the order. Not all do this.

Great take away coming here for years now, very friendly l. I would recommend the chicken madras, not many places make it like them and their mushroom fried rice. I’m never disappointed, great flavours

The main course (Tandoori mixed grill) was a little dry when it arrived, but was otherwise superb. The Onion baji was a delight too, which was vey refreshing. The oniion baji from most of the establishments i've tried lokaly are frankly, unedible. The only downer was the poppadom. Cardboard! Really guys, how can you mess poppadoms up? With that one exception, everything else was fine though, so would look to you guys as a possibility in the future.

Food was delivered on a very cold evening by a smiling gentleman. Chicken sizzler tasted fresh,hot and flavoursome. Order came with a few extras all very welcome. Thank you. 😊

Everything was bland. They they didn’t even bother to season the food, unless they consider a layer of oil to be seasoning. Disgusting.

We used to order from Saffron but Paul the delivery driver has left the restaurant. Such a nice bloke.

Portion was too small Food was below average

Ordered a dish which was totally different to the one they gave. He then told me they don’t do the dish I wanted and told me to not be cheeky by mixing my dishes when I wasn’t. Not great service and defo not good food. First and last time I order from here. The guy even put the phone down on me. Poor service.

My usual and local curry house takeaway. The food is always great and full of flavour. I can never go wrong. Everyone is always more than happy to adapt their food to my taste. Top ratings always.

Used to order from here loads, always loved their food. However we ordered again yesterday for the first time in a while, and my goodness has the quality gone down. The chicken was so dry that i'm convinced it was cooked last week. Onion bhaji's were inedible, so hard. Basically like mini rocks. The quality overall seems to really have taken a hit recently and it's honestly such a shame. Please go back to the original quality, it was so good!

Usually extremely happy with my order however this time 2 cokes were missing and one of the curry's was not OK and one of the others wasn't cooked properly. This is usually to notch restaurant . Very disappointed.

Ordered for collection and was Ready in the time that was said, the food was really nice i enjoyed it as I haven't had a curry for some time. Have been using saffron for a long time before hand, and never dissapoints.. if you're looking for a tasty Indian use these. Thumbs up from me. 👍🏻

Food came pipping hot. Very nice service and hand over. Had the lamb curry and my son had the chicken korma and we loved it. Rice was nice. Cheese naan was ok. Cola came very cold. Will definitely order form here again! Thank you so much :-)

Phoned them today because I was missing onion bhajis (theirs are defo the best). Turns out I forgot to order them (doh). They even offered to send me some which I politely declined as it’s not fair on them as it was my fault and a waste of car fuel but great service. The lamb madras was awesome and the butter chicken was delicious too. That aside… their onion bhaji’s really are the best. They are very competitive in price too. Well done folks 😊

Packaging was terrible, so it leaked all over the bag, and then all over my floor. Spent more time cleaning my carpet than actually eating the food.

Great food and service. After trying multiple restaurants in the area, Saffron is now my go to Curry house.

The salmon was too dry and lacked flavor and the chili nan had no chili. The sag aloo was nice though.

Not only was the food delivered early but it was piping hot. I’ve not had food delivered that has been so hot excellent. The food quality is outstanding, no grease no fat just amazing textures and flavours. I highly recommend!
