Moka Dining in Hillingdon

The food is good, like really good. Try the cumin lamb and the butter chicken - both great meals. Tonight had good service from Ary, I don’t know how, but they knew it was my birthday and brought me a surprise birthday dessert! Definitely good service and good food.

ONLY GO IF YOU FEEL LAST PLACE TO EAT INDIAN RESTAURANT IN LONDON (preferably still shouldn’t). Visited 1st time on 30th March 2022 as birthday celebrations. Had terrible experience and decided never to revisit, 30th March 2025 thought they would have Improved service, standards and Food. It sadly disappointment continues and gets worst. Starter Food as cold as anything (didn’t bother to complaint, as Mother’s Day felt pointless to raise issue when they operating in bulk then quality). Female manager was told when she asked how was food, yet all she says “sorry about that” that’s all. Big of starter food on spill on table, yet between starters and mains, lady decides not to clean up. Charges £4 for 75cl Bottle of water which was already on table when we started; was never asked if needed bottle or tap water. Again pointless to mentioned as seems careless staff and managers. Plus extremely low veg options (should declare Non-Veg Food Only) Thank you for ruining birthday celebrations 2nd time!!

Great lunch on Mothers Day . Great freshly cooked food clearly cooked with love. Staff helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Lost my mobile and when called restaurant to see if I had left behind they kindly called my mobile and subsequently was found at tube station lost property. Really great caring personal service. Highly recommend

Really good food and vibe. Staff seem nice. The lights went out on us for a minute but not sure what caused that. Will come back and try other food on menu.

Most amazing Cocktails I have tried and this is all down to the fantastic Barman Sid!!! He will make what you desire and nowhere have I tried such unique martinis! Definitely the best cocktails I have tried and well worth a visit!

The atmosphere is ethereal, with an in house DJ. Food is tantalising on your tastebuds. Service is of the up most quality, namely Aryian. Very nice bar with wide selection of drinks. Extremely good value for money. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing night at Moka, The food was superb especially the butter chicken as it was delicious and very flavourful, easily the best I’ve had in a while.. Our server Aryan made the night even better, he was incredibly polite, helpful, informative, and attentive without being overbearing. Amazing food, really different and super tasty. The prawns are the biggest prawns I’ve ever seen. Dee our server was really helpful in choosing which dishes to try. Huge portions so we had to take some home with us. Will be back to try some more.

My husband and I showed up at opening on a Saturday. We were seated immediately and received our orders fairly quickly. Every dish that we ordered was incredible. Service was exemplary. Our host, Dee, was so friendly and helpful and provided excellent recommendations.

Moka is a fantastic spot for delicious food and warm hospitality! The chicken lollipops were absolutely amazing—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The garlic naans are to die for—soft, buttery, and packed with flavor. Our hostess, Prang, was incredibly cordial and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience at Moka Dining. Dee suggested Salt & Pepper broccoli and it was absolutely out of this world. The service was top notch and the food was even better.

Last night we went to celebrate at Moka. The restaurant was buzzing and packed. The menu was extensive and delicious too. We started with drinks which took some time to come inspite of asking twice. Our mocktails and cocktails were good but Am panna was very sweet. Then arrived our starters which was quick , we had ordered chicken murgh tikka, lamp chops, chicken lollipops. Avacado chat, soya chap, gol gappas, maki mago, honey lotus chilli stem. Amongst 7 of us. Avacado chat lacked some flavor, I felt the chicken tikka was slightly undercooked. But I wouldn’t fault the lamb chops and rest. Our main course wasn’t as extensive as our starters but it was yum. We had ordered dal makhani, assorted naans, veg biryani , chicken biryani , raita and veg fried rice. It was enjoyed by everyone. To finish our palette we had many desserts gulab jamun, paan Kulfi, malai kulfi, Rabari and these to die for. To end the night there was DJ playing some good music.

Dee - the waiter/host was really very warm, chatty and recommendation he made was excellent. Excellent communication skills as a waiter. Der is lovely person.

I had a wonderful time at Moka Dining! The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was excellent. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options. Everything was well-prepared and full of flavour. The overall experience was memorable.

Has been wanting to come here for so long but I was disappointed. The food was average with no wow factor. It’s pricey so for what we had the food was not worth it. The cocktail was served with wow and rhats about it. Very lovely decor but the service didn’t match up either. All our starters came so fast and there was no room for the dishes to be put down and the server was standing there with next dish but not helping move things around but asked us to make room. We were eating pani puri quickly and moving food around on to one plate etc and it did not add to our experience for actually eating the food. The hostess was polite but the lady why served us cooks not even muster a smile. I won’t be going back as the food was nothing special or standout.

We had a lovely time here last year, so much so we went back last week. The decoration over Christmas made it feel so festive and warm and the food was great! Last week was a different vibe but the same warm feel. Thank you Moka for a fab time!

Three stars for atmosphere only because it was fairly quiet the lunchtime I was there with a friend, but then again we were talking so much we didn't take much notice. But the main thing is, the food is absolutely wonderful! You have never had such tender and tasty lamb as we had in the biryani, and a coconutty fish curry was absolutely sublime! They also have a wider selection of desserts than you get in most Asian restaurants: we had two to divide between us, and they were lovely (though the fish curry is still the highlight for me). Our waiter, Dee, was friendly and informative. When we said how good the food was, he brought the chef out so we could thank him too - a nice touch. All in all, a very wonderful lunch and I highly recommend this place. No hesitation in giving them five stars!

My husband and I wanted to have a nice quiet dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We live in the Herts area so didn't want to commute into London after work. We saw Moka on line, read the reviews and thought we'd give ot a try. It was a very positive experience for us both. The atmosphere was calm and inviting. The staff were friendly, helpful and very polite. The food was a delicious fusion of Asian and Oriental, I believe with the tastiest flavours in every dish - we ordered quite a bit! I loved the salt and pepper broccoli. Sounds ordinary but they were cooked in a novel way and really complimented our meals. Our leftovers was packed up nicely for us to enjoy the next day for lunch. A very stylish place to go for an intimate evening of delicious food. I highly recommend!

I recently visited Moka with friends for an evening meal and catch-up, and it was a truly delightful experience. The service was impeccable – our waitress was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always had a cheerful smile. She made us feel so welcome throughout the evening. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Sanjay, who was incredibly hospitable and a joy to chat with. His passion for ensuring a wonderful dining experience was evident. From the lovely atmosphere to the exceptional service, Moka is a gem of a restaurant. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a charming setting!

Dee was our server for the night….service was excellent and 10/10 Bar got Ana drinks order wrong but Dee came to the table without our knowledge and corrected the order….never been anywhere where a server has sorted and error.. Will definitely be back…
