I am glad that these guys do it quite authentic. They have a bunch of options for vegetarians and are happy to do some variations on request. Takeaways are a delight too. Good work by the team.

We love this Indian in Kirton. It’s the closest tasting to actual northern Indian after we visited last year. The food is beautiful. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The best Indian in Boston!

We have just had another delicious curry in what we would say Is the best Indian restaurant in Boston by far. The Saffron never fails to produce beautiful authentic curries. We ordered our favourite dishes which is the sizzling chicken starter, onion Bhjai and the chilli garlic chicken curry and wasn’t disappointed as all of it was absolutely yummy, lots of flavour and spices. We use to live in a big city where we were spoilt for choice with amazing restaurants however since moving here we have tried different Indian restaurants in and around Boston but none of the other restaurants are half as good as the Saffron that’s why we always return and can certainly say it it definitely our favourite Indian restaurant here . If you haven’t tried the saffron restaurant in kirton village then you need to as you are definitely missing out on a tasty curry.

Would 100% recommend. We had a FANTASTIC take away meal. Really tasty, swift service. Customer care GREAT. One in our party was allergic to dairy and they catered for them extremely well. Portion sizes were BIG. Great value for money. Will definitely be eating here again.

I really had to think hard as to whether or not to write this review - because my wife's and my experience in no way whatsoever matched any of those already recorded. The atmosphere felt a little strange - it certainly didn't help by being the only customers throughout the meal. The lighting was rather bright. It had a well furnished waiting area. The seating in the restaurant area was arranged as though it was a railway carriage, the tables together with well padded bench seats are fixed with rather too much space between for average sized persons. We ordered 'starters' 'main' and 'side' dishes plus drinks from a smartly dressed man via his ipad. After a short period of time a young, quite inexperieced and very quiet waitress struggled to our table with a tray bearing the COMPLETE ORDER (a nice trolly would be a nice order of the day!) The waitress seemed to be unable to understand why the 'starters' arrived with the 'main' meal. I then explained our dilemma with the gentlemen who appeared to have some authority. He said unless customers request differently the meals always come out as a complete order. I told him that he did not explain that when taking our order - a bland apology followed. We consider it natural that 'starters' are well and truly consumed prior to the arrivail of 'main' course. I had requested a Chicken Chaat with Chapatti as a 'starter'. It arrived with the Chicken Chaat encased in what looked like a large crispy battered roll (having previously eaten at a great number of Indian Restaurants), I had never seen anything like it before, it certainly bore no resemblance to a Chapatti. It was however quite tasty. My wife's Samosa were served completely cold with an indescribale filling. She was quite happy with her 'main' course. I had requested a Chicken Tikka Methi, it had a good fenugreek falvour but the Chicken appeared to be Chicken (red) tandorri prepared rather than Tikka, and swimming in a very bland sauce. I spoke again with the man at the end of the meal who still appeared a little uninterested but gave another uncaring apology with no offer to appease the situation. On arriving home and checking the 'bill' I found I had been charged £8.95 for a Prawns Puri 'Starter'. As the person had already shown no real interest, I havn't pursued the matter any further, but having had to pay £10 more than other respected Indian Restaurants in the area - for a similar spread, we are unable to recommend and definitely will not be returning.

first visit was a nice surprise , lovely ,clean and tastefully decorated restaurant, friendly service , nice array of dishes , and the choice to have it cooked to your taste buds , i think we may have over done it , as there was only 3 of us , and it could of stretched to 4 if you all had a mix of items , i had chicken machoosi ( mild ) and i would definitely recommend it , and the husband had lamb chops curry, even if you do over order like us , you can soon doggy bag the left overs !! and it was great getting a taste of the array of dishes for next time , this is local to us , so the take away option would be perfect on a more regular basis .

We visited the Saffron as we had heard great reviews. The service was very good and as we were curry novices, the recommendations were spot on! Service was professional and the food delicious! Thankyou, we will be back!!

Superb, professional and attentive service from start to finish. We asked for advice about dishes and received great recommendations. I have a severe nut allergy, but was assured that my dish would be prepared without nuts. When the food arrived it was hot and really tasty, there was plenty of it too. A great experience, we will certainly return!

Having recently moved to Lincolnshire from the North West and missing our favourite restaurants we wanted to find a good Indian restaurant that served a good curry! Tonight we found it, the little gem by the name of Saffron in Kirton, Boston served us with tasty starters of chicken tikka and onion bhaji, garlic and chilli curry, side dishes of fluffy pilau rice and a flavoursome garlic naan bread. Good size portions, value for money and the two young ladies who served us where the most efficient and polite waiting staff we have experienced since our move here, what more could one ask for. Thank you to the staff and chef at the Saffron restaurant, we look forward to our next visit.

If you are looking for Indian food that’s super tasty - this is the place to go. We got a take away of onion bhaji and lamb chops for starters, chicken tikka masala, chicken balti, chicken makhni and paneer tikka masala for mains with pea pulao rice, garlic naan and condiments. Every item of food was delicious and large portion sizes. It is great value for money. Everyone loved the food and we all would definitely order again.

Lovely bustling restaurant with a great ambience. We had an excellent meal with piping hot food spiced to individual taste. Great table service, the waitress was friendly and helpful. Very reasonable prices. We will definitely be coming back as this is by far the best Indian restaurant in the Boston area.

We went here for a belated birthday treat. Heard great things about it so booked for a Saturday night. On arrival we were shown to our table and ordered drinks. Our waitress brought menus and explained everything as it’s a bit different to every other Indian around. We ordered tropical chicken and chicken jalfrezi with rice and peshwari naan. We were given a choice of how spicy we would like our food. Never been given this option before anywhere else so was really good. The food arrived and it smelled fantastic. It was really really tasty. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. There was a man that walked round at one point who I am guessing was the boss. He was very friendly and asked if we enjoyed our meal. I paid the bill and walked through to leave. When we arrived there were only 4 other people eating but when we left it was really busy with people waiting to be seated. We will definitely be returning soon.

Visited last Friday with a work colleague, table pre booked for 6:30. Warm welcome on arrival and drinks order taken quickly. Ordered a saffron curry and was asked how I would like it. Requested king prawn vindaloo , rice, Bombay potatoes and garlic and chilli naan . Vindaloo was perfect , nice thick sauce. The naan was covered in garlic and chilli which is how I like it . Overall the flavours were quite intense but as expected with a vindaloo. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Great value for money also. But please change the layout of the menu . In summary, great food at a very sensible price.

For a new restaurant, the owners are making great strides. A really diverse selection of dishes many of which were unknown to me, however, the staff were more than happy to offer recommendations. Lovely brand new decor and spotlessly clean. Maybe they could go for a little softer lighting however that's a very minor point. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.

Our starters of Tandoori Chicken and Shish Kebabs came out on a sizzling dish and remained hot until all had gone!! An unusual wait between courses (arranged) was brilliant and we had Rogan Josh and Lamb Keema. Absolutely delicious! The most enjoyable meal I’ve had in a very long time! The aura and environment was enhanced by the dedicated and exceptional service by our waitress ..truly dedicated to her job! Thank you .. cannot wait to return and try something different!

A new venture near to us, so we gave it a try just after Christmas. Bright and clean inside and attentive staff, just a slight niggle I don't agree with staff wearing Jean's just not professional in my eyes. We were handed the menu which was very confusing as there was no flow to it and you had to keep going backwards and forwards through it, they were aware of this and apologised but yet again not very professional. The food was very good and they will do dishes that are not on the menu. We will return again in a few months and give it another try.

Although this restaurant only opened in early December, we had already heard good things about it so we thought we would try it, and what a delight it is. A light and clean restaurant with an indian feel but no flock wallpaper in sight. We received a warm welcome and were promptly shown to a table. Our menus arrived with complimentary poppadums.

Possibly a bad night but the two portions of Lamb Tikka which arrived late were hated by both diners as it was rock hard and tough even when cut with difficulty Told when complaining that noone had ever complained before and it was perfect and as it should be. . .. what? Supposed to be inedible?this arrogance really annoyed us.If this was a first ever complaint a refund should have been offered not a denial and rudeness. I will not be trying them again Good reviews are their old reviews Some say it's gone downhill since then.

Ordered a takeaway- delivery service good sadly the quality of food wasn’t. Both curries were ‘slop’, very little meat and hardly any taste . Quite honestly a supermarket curry meal deal is more value for money.
