Have had a couple of meals from here now and it's been consistently really good! Will be back again and again!

Absolutely the best place for Indian curry 😃

Ordered delivery at 515, with a wait of 45-50 mins - rang them at 6.30 as still not arrived, very apologetic so no problem with me, I understand they are busy. Promised on its way. Rang again at 6.55, only for the person picking up the phone to shout at me and tell me I hadn’t been waiting since 6.30, it was only 5 mins since I rang! I can prove on my phone when I’d rung. The food arrived at 7pm, stone cold - and when I rang back to let them know, he said I was a liar and hung up on me. I’ve been using this takeaway for years and have spent a lot of money with them. I won’t be spending with them ever again after the rude and obnoxious way he spoke to me.

I have used Saffron for over 15 years. It was always the best but quality has been going down for some months now. The food is good and tasty but cutting corners is reflective on what we have received. This is a Peshawar Naan supposed to be full of coconut and almonds. It’s just dough.

Disappointing really. Chicken Madras (Balti style, apparently) was oily and bland. The chicken was tasteless. Small portion too (container was just over half full). Appearance was uninspiring. Saag Aloo was average, and again, a small portion size. Not great value for money. Will stick to Namaste and Take of Spice in future.

The onion bhajis here are just the most delicious I've ever had and the sauce that comes with them is just as good. I'm such a fan I now order them for starter and main.

Visiting Westbury with family, we fancied an Indian meal, read reviews & ordered, but after spending a lot of money for our takeout- it wasn’t nice, piping hot but all dishes ordered should have been mild - medium heat and yet all dishes were spicy 🌶️, all had bad time after eating and even sick, chicken was more like processed meat rather than fresh! Really annoying & disappointing but definitely one to avoid.

Definitely be coming to again order last minute just before close they still accepted my order for the food even though it was last minute highly recommended

This place has fabulous Indian food. I have tried 5 different dishes and everything has been excellent. It’s take out only though.

We order from here quite often & order the same every time and always taste lovely!! But we ordered last night it was completely different and didn't taste the same at all not nice at all 😔 I'm assuming different chef??

The online order went through foodhub, they added extras on to our order when we were on checkout, so we couldn't see it, after checking the order several times when placing it. Asked for the rund for the extras when we picked it up, they fob you off with an email address and you never get the refund. After months of back atjd forth, food hub have only offered vouchers to order more from them and no cash refund. Rip off!

Very dissapointed, no flavour or spice to either of our curries. Very, very disappointed!

I have used Saffron several times and the food has always been good. After my last experience, I will never be using them again. Having used the website to order previously, I made a reorder. I was overcharged (the website doubled one of the items) and telephoned the takeaway immediately. They removed the item from the order, said that they tried to refund me 'via the app' but could not and then said that I would have to go 'via the website'. Two weeks and numerous emails later, I have been passed on to Food Hub who have told me that the takeaway has 'refused' the refund. I have now made a formal complaint. I would strongly advise others not to use the website to order. This is very disappointing. I understand that technical glitches happen. It is the poor customer service following this that has put me off using this takeaway again.

Best Indian food around for miles, quick delivery even for a neighbouring town friendly drivers will order again and again

Charge for delivery then try to make you collect!!! No refund and No food - super unhappy I placed an order at 5:30 this evening via food hub. Order was accepted and was waiting for it to arrive. 6pm I had a phone call from the restaurant to say it’s too far for them to deliver could I collect. I advised I had ordered through the food hub app, my order was accepted I had paid for delivery - I was unable to drive as unwell in bed. They then asked me to meet them half way again I explained I was unwell hense ordered a takeaway. (I am unable to collect as heavily pregnant and on bed rest) The phone was then given to someone else who was very rude and told me it wasn’t worth their time delivering my order and so I would have to just get a refund. I explained this wasn’t very fair when they accepted the order, and waited over 30 minutes to tell me I couldn’t get my food.. the man was very rude and didn’t care to listen, I advised it wasn’t very good customer service and also false advertising when they are saying they deliver but making people collect. I asked when the refund would happen and the man told me to wait for it and put the phone down. I certainly won’t be ever considering using this restaurant again and would advise anyone else to consider before ordering.

Really delicious takeaway tonight. Chicken tikka balti bhuna was so flavoursome. Really enjoyed the small pot of the red salad (foc). Always good food from here.

Beautifully cooked food. Always lovely. Everyone involved, on the phone or delivery are A Star plus. I would not order an Indian takeaway from anyone else. Please ignore any previous negative reviews - these guys know how to cook and how to look after their customers. Definitely 5 stars from me. Keep doing what you do well, Saffron and keep the wonderful friendly staff you have too- they're an asset.

We have used Saffron a few times now: as a walk-in and order, ordering online for delivery and ordering online then collecting. The food has always been delicious, the staff are always friendly and the food is always ready quickly. Thank you.

Very disappointed, we were a rice short so had to wait for another to be delivered but the worse thing was the vindaloo had zero spice whatsoever, would not recommend

We have been customers for years but the last two times have been really disappointing, this last time we had a rice missing which took another 15-20 mins to arrive, then the Vindaloo dish that we had ordered had no spice heat too it at all, food wasn’t hot when it arrived and to be honest it was all quite bland, not what you expect from an £80 takeaway, really gone down hill.

Used to be a regular but when an order took more that an hour and a half to be delivered 4 miles and when I phoned for the second time told they did not care, that was it. No more. Times will be hard for food retail businesses but clearly this business does not care. Very sad.

First & last time for me at Saffron. Very poor excuse for a Dansak, the gravy it was in had the consistency & colour of tomatoe soup and had none of the base ingredients/spices such as lentils and chickpeas. The flavour was just hot & bland. The guy chucked in some old dry onion bhaji's cooked from yesterday and made out he was doing me a favour. Infact compared to the Eastern Paradise & The Cinnamon lounge Saffron is definitely a miserable 3rd for Westbury. At £18.95 for a Dansak, rice,chicken Tikka starter and 2 poppadoms and I collected it myself. Its also the most expensive! If you like Indian food avoid Saffron as it will put you right off.

Good range of dish styles, generous portions and much less sugar than the other two Indian takeaways in Westbury.

Honestly the best Indian takeaway in Westbury. Never fail to deliver. Ordered a delivery 3 hours before we wanted and it arrived on time and hot. Haven’t had an Indian from there for a few months and they always come up trumps.

I worked as a cheif long time in this takeaway, so good food and Service, i can't forget my experience and my boss Ruhul amin sikder.

Manager couldn’t be ruder. Food didn’t turn up, kept being fobbed off. He then told me not to order from them again.

We've always had wonderful food from these guys but last Saturday we had a three hour wait despite the online tracker saying it would be an hour. It's basically just a counter and bears no relevance to the actual delivery time. We may use them again but definitely not at the weekend. Ordered at 6 and it arrived at 9! Great food but certainly not worth the 3 hour wait! Disappointing.

Waited 2 hours for a delivery to appear. Phoned twice to chase up the order. Told at 20:30hrs that the order was on it's way. The order was then delivered 40 minutes later. This is not acceptable from Westbury to Trowbridge. Having been a customer for 10 years I can safely say that I will not be ordering again. I'm very surprised that the owner Roy is overseeing this poor level of service.

Bloody terrible 20 minutes late when delivered and I have never been spoken too so badly, my partner took over the conversation with the person and his tone complete changed. He was so rude, to the point he has ruined a lovely evening, customer service is a minus score. As person who works i this industry I am horrified by this business!! Sexist arrogant obnoxious people!!

It's been a while since we've had a takeaway from saffron, but as usual it was worth the wait. The food was exactly as we ordered, observing social distancing. It was hot, and very tasty and we both enjoyed every mouthful. I would go as far to say one of the best we've ever had. Well done saffron and thank you.

Everything I've ever had from this small, unassuming part of town, has been utterly delicious. Friendly staff very courteous delivery staff, high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. We had lamb Ceylon (madras-hot), chicken pasanda (fairly mild), mutta paneer (a must-try), garlic naan (always perfect) pilao rice (always perfect) and papadoms. Keeping us very happy during the Corona lockdown. Cant recommend enough. Thank you Saffron!

I had one of the best takeaway curries I've ever had on Saturday. The delivery staff very kindly left it on doorstep (corona friendly) I had lamb Ceylon (about as hot as Madras) mutta paneer. Garlic naan and my friend had a chicken Pasanda and we had papadoms.. All utterly amazing. Same again next weekend!

Heard many good stories of the Saffron, finally got around to ordering from them last weekend. Phone was answered quickly, ordering was easy, delivery was made at the time given. Driver was polite and Food was still hot, after a seven mile journey, more than can be said for some local takeaways that only bring it one mile. Meals were excellent value for money with Chicken pieces that I have not experienced for quite some time, top quality breast pieces, not small offcuts some places use. Absolute Five Star, wish I had found this place earlier. Don't think I'll be going anywhere else now - a very happy customer - Well Done Saffron.

This is such a good takeaway for so many reasons. Not only is the food amazing every time but they are very accommodating and service is fantastic. I've never been to a takeaway so good that we order from them every month!highly recommend going. Their lamb dishes are especially good.

The Saffron has been in Westbury eons but it has not rested on its laurels and is still a very good takeaway which I can recommend to everyone. All the dishes are flavourful and just the right heat try it I’m sure you won’t be disappointed

There are a number of Indian takeaways in Westbury but the Saffron is by far the best in my experience, just a shame they don’t have a restaurant.Finding vegan friendly takeaway food can be troublesome at times but with Saffron there are no concerns.I called tonight and asked if certain dishes were vegan friendly, the staff were very knowledgeable about their dishes which was reassuring.I opted for a vegetable jalfrezi which took a little longer as they usually use ghee to cook this dish but used vegetable oil for mine.The food was excellent and one of the best jalfrezi’s I have had.Saffron cater for all tastes and serve great food, can’t recommend them highly enough.

Really delicious food that was delivered to us within half an hour on a Saturday. The portions are large, fairly priced and still hot on arrival.

Excellent meals and prompt service. Suggest you ignore the one or two negative reviews from 5 years ago etc - If you order an unusual dish I would worry if it was available in a few minutes! Some people are plain unreasonable We have ordered on a weekly basis for many years. The manager is always friendly and polite. Recommended.

What an amazing find. I am coeliac and this is the first Indian take away I have had that I haven't been I'll after, even after assuring me things were gluten free. Very helpful on the phone when ordering, even reading out ingredients to me to ensure things were suitable. They even made me coconut rice which wasn't on the menu. Food arrived within stated time, piping hot. Both our meals were very tasty. Will definitely order again!

I have been a customer at Saffron for 20 years overall, it's always been consistent at providing high quality authentic Indian cuisine. The food is excellent, the service is great, delivery and collection times are always met. There is nowhere better in Westbury for Indian food.

fantastic takeaway, all piping hot delivered to Trowbridge, had 2 from house specialities and was probably the best Indian food we have ever had. We will definitely return and try something else, ordered online and saved 15% as well faultless.

So good that I drive up from Warminster. The best Indian takeaway in the area by far. We're now regulars.

I have had food from saffron and I have always found the food is very good.the service was good and did not have to wait to long.....but was glad of the wait as I was told each meal is cooked to order and not kept in a hot plate..So I will be using them again.

After waiting some one and a half hours for our order the delivery driver apologised and offered a 10% discount. I found this insulting as we had planned the meal and other arrangements to coincide with the forty minutes we had been advised it would arrive. The most important aspect of this is the poor quality of the meal. The chicken is best described as old and extremely tough and possessed a less than pleasant aromour to it. After calling the shop last evening and today to express my disappointment and discust I have been met with total denial and verbal abuse! I have saved a sample of the chicken which I will forward to Wiltshire council for analasis. We have all felt unwell today and look forward to the councils results. I advise in the strongest terms not to purchase from this particular establishment.

After the terrible service I have received I felt compelled to write. A few years ago when I was living in Westbury, Saffron was a good place to eat from. So now I moved back to the town, I wanted to try it again. Huge mistake!!!!!! Below I will list the failings. • Delivery never on time, I mean not within 30 minutes of the agreed time. • Incorrect items in order. • No care when delivering the order. Smashed containers, smashed poperdoms. • Both delivery and collecting the food. It has been warm. Not hot suggesting that it has hung around before being given out. • Stale breads and soft poperdoms have bean received. Sadly, saffron has gone from a very good place to get food, but now the standards have dropped so far I will not be using it again. The final nail was my last order for delivery, it arrived late, incorrect (One starter and one rice was missing) and the delivery driver demanded a tip. So, if want cold food, incorrect order and rude staff use saffron. If not go else were.

Would rather starve to death than eat from there again. They are terrible. I used them twice and never again. The first time it I used them it was a busy Saturday night and the other was a quiet Tuesday. Issues. First meal. 90 minutes late, I called twice and told th driver was just leaving both times. Wrong order of food, driver sent away again, 45 minutes later meal arrived and was barely warm and poperdoms smashed and mint container lid off. The driver demanded a tip, I advised him he was not getting one and he told me I was being a tight git and drove of like a bat out of hell. Second Meal. I hoped as it was a quiet night it would be ok. Ring the order in 2 hours before I wanted to eat at 8:30pm. Meal arrived 45 minutes late, incorrect, again with sundries missing, driver was annoyed I was checking it. I handed it back to him and advised him to return with my correct order. So at 9:45 it had not arrived I ordered from Tale Of Spice as it was then and had a meal in 30 minutes. 10:25 my meal arrived and the driver was told not wanted, he demanded payment and was menacing and making treats until I told him I was going to call the police and pointed out a security camera. He left, the following morning I found the meal had meal chucked over my rear fence. So don’t eat there, go else were.

Regularmente conseguir una llevar desde aquí, buena elección en el menú, la comida siempre llega caliente y normalmente conseguir algunos popadoms tirado!
