Although the food was tasty when I opened the bag I had no popadoms which I had ordered therefore costing me more money so check your order carefully

Disappointed with our meal this evening. I’ve ordered multiple times from this restaurant and never had any issues with their service or food. This evening the food was over 1 hour late from time given at initial order. The food was luke warm, underwhelming and overall dissatisfying.

Ordered for delivery to be at 20:00, at 20:10 the update said to enjoy our food but it wasn’t here. I phoned the restaurant and the driver hadn’t even picked it up yet to make the delivery. It arrived around 20:40

We had a delivery. Awesome quality. Phoned em back and thanked them. Recommend to anyone. On time and value for money. Why not try em for yourself. Prove me wrong. You won't.

We ordered 2 Special Biryani's, one with a Madras sauce, pick it up and get home there are 2 vegetable sauces. Phone them and they said we can give you it the next time, sorry there will not be a next time as this is not the first time this has happened.

The lateness was worth the wait. The food was lovely and piping hot.

It has been an hour and a half since we ordered our food, and it has still not arrived. My partner called 20 minutes ago to ask about it, and the person he spoke to stated that the food would was already on its way and would be here soon. Although, I must say the food is lovely, this is unfortunately not the first time this has happened. We believe the food on both occasions was in fact not on the way to us, but was forgotten about and then sent on its way after phoning up. We live in Amesbury, and the Restaurant is based in Durrington, which is no more than a 10 minute drive from us.

Fantastic curry tonight - just had a collection order , and it was delicious - I asked for the korma to be extra creamy and it was lovely and perfect. Sides were lovely and my husband loved his masala sauce and rice Staff were kind and customer service when I went to pick it up was brilliant Highly reccomended !!!

Beautiful food! No fault at all with that, though I ordered well in advance at 1630 with an estimated delivery of 1815. 45 minutes late is unimpressive. Though as I said, the food was enjoyed by all. Vindaloo, mixed starters, king prawn korma and a ceylon. Well worth it.

Ordered the food at 7.30 and was told the food would arrive at 8.40. It is now 9.40 and still haven’t revived it.

Arrived after an hour and a half of ordering. 90% of the order was cold. Called after waiting and restaurant didn’t even apologise - delivery man just threw order at me and back to his car

Absolute pit of an establishment - delivered food late, cold and the useless mongrel of a driver couldn’t have cared less.

The delivery was 27 minutes late. I got an update saying a 10 minute delay but that was all. The food tasted good, it was piping hot and there was enough of it. The inside of the peshwari nan had come out and was left inside the bag. We didn’t pay a delivery charge- maybe because it was late.

I did phone the restaurant and they explained the driver was on his way still as there was an issue getting here a blockage in road or something. So this isn’t a complaint as I totally understand and I was given a full explanation :)

Placed an order for a delivery, told 45 minutes, called after an hour, told it was on its way. Called again 2 hours after original order to be told to collect it as they were busy and hadn’t started to cook it yet 🤬

Ordered early afternoon for a 6.45pm delivery ... no food an hour later. Called to enquire to be told was ready and waiting on driver. 45 mins later food finally arrived cold !!! Really not acceptable 1hr 45 mins late. Will not be using in future.

We ordered garlic naans and were sent plain ones. So we paid more for a lesser item.

Most fantastic takeout, and very pleased to note the kitchen followed a special request on the Sag Paneer, sweet and coconut just perfect! Great value and top food!

The food was 2 hours late. They didn't update the website with our delivery time but just said it was delivered when it wasn't. I then called them after an hour and they told me they were busy and if I could wait another half an hour. I said fine but it took another hour to be delivered. They did not compensate in any way.

I can't give this any stars at all, but I have to to be able to put up my post!! It's the first and last time I use this place. I placed an order just before 7.45. It said it would be here around 8.20-8.40, it was late, then the app said that it was on route and then had been delivered!!! Just not to me. Called the restaurant only to be told that it was still being cooked, erm ok then. They said to cancel order to get my money back! You can't cancel it after its been delivered!! So back on the phone to them only to be given an excuse that it was super busy!!! Gave my card details over the phone for a refund which I've still not had!! Totally disappointed and will never use again!!

Lovely curry. Opens at 5pm took 90mins to get it delivered.

Ordered of just eat. Have a missing item, 1st time since I've ordered that they have missed something. I didn't call the restaurant- thought bit extreme to get them to deliver a rice so just got a refund on the rice. Thank you.

Occasionally late has become usually late (over an hour today and missing the revised delivery by 40 minutes) and independent drivers have been replaced by Emperor employees, perhaps to save money? Luke warm food isn't good enough. Customer service sacrificed for profits? Still, Evan can leave another 5 star review to keep the ratings up...

Waited half an hour past our collection time and when we finally got our take away we got home and found half the order was missing and had part of someone else's order. We phoned the restaurant and they fobbed us off saying we will give you a discount next time. We returned the entire order and joined the queue of people complaining about the same thing.

We’ve not had an Indian for a very long time maybe even 2/3 years and all I can say is wow it tasted amazing and so much food 100 % impressed thank you

Delicious, well cooked, and generous portions

Thought we would go as we hadn’t been in over a year . No nice greeting on arrival like there used to be and alarm bells started ringing when we where the only people there on a Saturday night . The staff looked like they didn’t want to be there . The man who used to work there was lovely, very chatty and helpful. No alcohol any more just soft drinks. Food was very bland and tasteless so paid and left wishing we hadn’t bothered. Such a shame its so awful now .

AVOID! Ordered a set meal for 4 on their order page and with 10% collection discount came to £45. Waited 30 minutes to collect, when going for collection they said they haven’t received an order for it even though I had an order confirmation email. They then tried to charge me £60 when putting it through and said prices had went up, was only cash so didn’t have enough on me to pay. Rip off and scam

You all must try this restaurant; it is great for takeaways, but just outstanding to sit in for. The team looks after you well and the food tastes awesome. They quality and quantity of food being just right. Bravo to my local Indian.

By the time the food arrived it was luke warm/ virtually cold my friend basically had a very little and ended throwing it away as she felt it lacked any flavour

Awful timekeeping. When you are busy don't over promise a delivery time you cannot meet. It is not good enough. I called twice and at the time of writing, I have been waiting 1 and a half hours. I cannot collect as I have small children, this is the last time I order from here. Terrible

Tikka Jalfrezi, Chicken - ridiculous amount of onion (whole spanish?) on the last three orders Bhuna was good Delivery last two occassions has been late and this time just shy of an hour - looks like the delivery drivers have had enough min wage as delivered by restaurant staff

Had to check twice to see if still arriving , did so over an hour late , can cope with that however the food was no longer hot but the worst bit being there was an actual bite taken out of one of the Nann breads ! Not good and unmistakable I have photo but c’mon for the price we pay ! Super disappointed and grossed out

Went there this evening (New Year’s Eve) with the family. Only 4 of us but food either stone cold or raw. Lamb shish for starters was raw, and although mentioned to waiter - the shish for tandoori mixed grill was also raw. Onion bahijs undercooked. Chicken in tandoori mixed grill stone cold. Weren’t there late, and wasn’t busy when we arrived but shoved in back corner and forgotten about. Took half hour to be offered any drink (to which they were all alcohol free). Wouldn’t advise eating in or getting take away from here - used to be the place to go but has really gone downhill.

Always excellent food and service, we have been dining here for 15 years. Eat in and take out, consistently excellent food. Generous sized portions, and very competitively priced. We always tip generously and have never been disappointed.

Had a takeaway from the restaurant this evening, the quality has been declining gradually over the past few months and the meal tonight was possibly the worst I’ve had anywhere in a long time. One to avoid unless the standards improve drastically.

I am so annoyed. Great service delivery. Mixed starters were tasty and really good. The main was hot and perfectly spiced. BUT THE CHICKEN MEAT. Yuck!!!! I don’t know where you are getting your meat from but it was horrid. Texture woody and seemingly undercooked. I was really disappointed because everything else was great. Chicken meat put me off soo much that it all had to go into the bin. Sorry guys. I can’t return if the meat is like this 😞😞😞😞

The food is great as always, just don't expect it to arrive at the time you ordered it for, even though you ordered it nearly an hour ahead of the requested time
