Great Iranian food. Always excellent dishes, tasty and the service is great. It is always wonderful to dine at Sadaf.

Went there for dinner with a party of 5. The spicy chicken wings is highly recommended for sharing and the mashed aubergine comes a close second in the appetiser department. For the mains, the lamb chops were cooked to perfection and there’s a good balance of fat and meat in each chops. The rice that comes with it is buttery and aromatic. It complemented each other and it turned out great. The servers were friendly and always ready to recommend first timers or if you cant decide what to order. Overall i highly recommend to come here for a nice dinner with your friends and family. Might be pricey but its worth what you pay for. P.s: sorry no pictures to justify my review.

Worst service ever rude only like catering to their own people. If your not Arab/persian your basically not welcome see it like that.

Really good good at great prices

Last time I had Kebab Barg, very delicate and wonderful from main courses with salad. I recommend it.

The most bland food I have eaten for a long time. I am so disappointed. We risked ordering from a menu dropped through our letterbox- £75 for the most tasteless meat I have had in a long time. Never again unfortunately as we both love this type of food normally. Avoid.

I witnessed the restaurant owner mistreating one of his employees, and then he mistreated and humiliated a driver who delivers the orders for the restaurant, we were very saddened by the situation, if the owner doesn't know how to deal with people, let him hire a qualified person for the job, because the employees would certainly have a much better quality of work!

This is the best Persian restaurant in London! No doubt! Great foods, great appetizers and very good vibe! Reasonable price as well.

Poor service, meat they use for kebab it's not lamb fillet, staff not friendly, The service is poor, the staff are not very willing to work, the food is not bad, but if you want to eat kebab, I recommend you not to come here, they use sheep's loin meat in Chanje, there is no mention of sheep fillet and veal in the leaves. They probably soften the sheep's loin meat in a special non-standard way, by the way, I am close to them, but it was the last time I went.

Honestly there are much better place that offers biryani. We ordered chicken and veg biryani which tastes like fried rice. Sadaf platter and roti was pretty okay and dry.

The worst Ghorme Sabzi which must be the most delicious Iranian food! And disgusting service and food. The worst vegetable soup I have ever eaten was here and I got the worst feeling and negative energy from here.

I ordered from Sadaf Restaurant in London and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I asked twice for cutlery to be included with my takeaway, and both times the staff assured me it was in the bag. However, when I got to the office, I found no cutlery, which meant I couldn't eat my food. I ended up having to order again from Deliveroo just because of this careless mistake. It's truly frustrating. Also, there’s a difference between “Khoresh Bademjan” and “Khoresh Ghooreh Bademjan.” When the menu says eggplant stew, I expect to receive that specific dish—not a variation with sour grapes. The menu should be clearer or the staff should clarify it with customers. On top of that, the stew was extremely oily, lacked any distinct flavor, and tasted like it wasn’t freshly made. It just didn’t feel like a dish prepared with care or attention to quality. Lastly, it would be nice if you included a small piece of butter with the kebabs, as most Persian restaurants do. It really adds to the experience. Thank you for your time, but unfortunately, due to these issues, my experience was far from pleasant.

It was an amazing restaurant! The food was delicious and of high quality. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were very polite and friendly. Not really a negative but portion size is huge. But the food is tasty

Food could have been a bit better. The environment and service were superb though. We tried no. 22 and no.34 on the list. No. 22 was a beef dish with rice and had more taste to it than no. 34 which was a chicken dish. Like a chicken tikkah with rice but it tasted too bland and the chicken tasted like it had been cooked the day before - it was all dried up and hard. Would I go there again? Probably not.

I made a reservation for 10:30 PM a week in advance and I wanted to introduce my foreign friend to Iranian culture! And at the same time, I was coming from Ireland and had planned to have dinner at this restaurant at 10:30 PM. But right when my flight landed in London, I got an email saying that my reservation had been moved to 9:30! Well, I had planned my entire trip based on that 10:30 PM. I called to see why they changed my reservation, they said very simply that we close at 11 PM and you won't finish by then! I said, well, if you couldn't give me a table at 10:30, why did you let me make a reservation at all? Their only answer was: That's it!!!

Very rude customer service. Unedible, cold food and overpriced. Would not order again. It’s not Persian food.

Turned up for an accepted booking that didn’t seem to exist and were told to wait until something came up in a full restaurant. Staff could not have cared less and we left. Booking a table here does not mean anything.

To be avoided, horrible food, starters with no idea what you were eating and the restaurant smelling of sewage and dirty water every time they opened the kitchen door (I leave it to the imagination of whoever reads what was going on in the kitchen) so I didn't eat anything except the bread, I got up and left. Just one positive thing, besides, it's not worth going out at night.

I have never had a bad meal or service in the 6 years I've been frequenting Sadaf Garden.

The food is good, but the staff is very bad at dealing with it, and there is a bad smell in the restaurant. I also read before coming that they let you pay how much, and they say you are rejected, and they make you feel uncomfortable, and in fact, it became in front of me, and I had to calculate the cash and rest my head.

My wife, son, and I travel all the way from Surrey to dine at Sadaf Restaurant in High Street Kensington, and it’s always worth the journey. The food is absolutely amazing—truly out of this world! It’s by far our favorite place to eat as a family. The service is exceptional, with the staff being incredibly welcoming and attentive. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Service was shockingly bad, we were basically rushed out of the door after some fair to lacklustre food. Two of our party had been here before a few years ago and were incredibly disappointed by the decline in standards.

I have visited the restaurant today 06/08/2022 ordered seabus fish asking to replace the rice by bread the guy who talking the order was very rude trying to insult me making joke about my order … itelling me that he was working 15 years didn’t receive like this order!!! And I have been waiting for 18 minutes for someone to take my order. It’s absolutely disgraceful ! Far from happy don’t recommend specialty for Arabic people!!!

I was deceived by the 4.2 score of Google. Before entering and from behind the window, it looks like a good restaurant, which was also busy. Upon arrival, I was met with a cold attitude from the staff. It seems that the friends were working for free and were not very cheerful (of course, they did not have any bad or insulting behavior). Before ordering the food, I asked some questions so that I could finish the proof from the beginning and not leave room for words and hadith. For example, I asked about chicken meat, do you use fillet, the answer is yes, I asked twice, are you sure? Saying one hundred percent. After the food arrived, I came to the conclusion that either I don't know what fillet is. Or our cook friend has a strange skill in destroying the fillet and turning it into meat junk. Or that the story of Fille was nothing more than a lie. (Conclude by yourself). For appetizers, I also ordered soup and pot with vegetables. The soup was good, but the bottom of the pot and the vegetables looked like cattle diarrhea and had no special taste. They wanted to force me to eat three buckets of vegetable soup at the bottom of the pot. Of course, after eating a spoonful, I returned the food. Of course, they included this returned food in the bill, which they removed with my protest. The grilled chicken wasn't bad, the batter wasn't bad either, although in my opinion, the smell of sheep was too much, like the chicken, both of which smelled strongly of sheep and stable, which is a sign of the poor quality of the chicken. I don't want to tell you about the service, only charging service, although there are many employees there, but when you need help or have a question, it takes time to find someone.

Excellent food, reasonable prices fir big portions

Poor quality food. We ordered chicken kebabs, I am not sure if it was chicken, may it was a crow or dead chicken. With this quality I don't even know if it's halal or not. I'm sure that the 5 star reviews are all from the owner's friends and family.

Good is ok for the most part. Meats are sub par compared to other Iranian restaurants in London. The bread is really nice. Service is not too friendly. Staff are rough around the edges and need plenty of coaching how to welcome clients and handle client requests.

Came here to have dinner and walked in and saw that it was busy. Which is always a good sign however no acknowledgement or greeting from any of the staff. After 10 minutes of waiting we were asked to “move there”. So we moved and carried on waiting. 15 minutes and still no acknowledgment. 2 other groups had joined the while we were waiting without reservation but somehow managed to get seated and acknowledged before we did. We then approached the manager as we are still being ignored and were told in a firm tone to go back and wait. This is honestly shocking. Very rude staff and no respect. Left the restaurant and will definitely not be back.

Delicious, authentic, and big portions. I got the “momtaz” for reference. Their lamb shank, grilled fish, biryani and bread are all excellent too.

The food is excellent and delicious and the staff are very friendly and hospitable, I do not know the names of all the staff , but I can mention Mr. Mohamed, Mr. Ali and Mr Divan who is excellent on making the Iranian bread and I encourage who ever read this message to try to dine in this excellent Iranian restaurant .
