Great place for great cocktails, well worth a visit

Chelsea Funhouse is an absolute gem in the restaurant scene. I am a local and a regular. The brunch is always delicious, the drinks are perfect, and the decor is so new and fresh!

I stumbled on this undiscovered gem right in our neighboorhood in Chelsea. Not sure why there are these fake 1 start reviews abvs they haven’t been to the venue! The food was flavorful, savory, and succulent. I was happy to see how clean everything was. They got a new customer for life

Had a really lovely set menu here to celebrate something special. The espresso martini menu was extensive - I had the salted caramel one and it was delicious. My partner is a meat eater and I am a vegan. It was great to have lots of options for both of us on the food menu. I can say the vegan options were delicious, and it was great that lots of creamy cocktails used dairy free alternatives so I could enjoy them. The staff here were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We felt really welcome here and will definitely return. Thank you!

Amazing food, service and drinks - highly recommend. Also a good place to spend most of an evening - you can eat in the duck + champagne, and go upstairs to The Bletchley afterwards. P.S if you like Espresso Martini’s - order the ‘After Blacks.’

We tried the aubergine shawarma and glass of champagne. Then headed up to the bar upstairs or more drinks. CFH is the perfect place for a whole night out with its restaurant and the immersive cocktail bar downstairs - The Bletchley. 3 in one magic. Thumbs up

Chelsea Funhouse is my favorite restaurant bar in Chelsea. I've been to a lot of places, but this one is the best! It has great food, drinks, service and ambiance! It's a really fun place to be for brunch, dinner or just drinks. I especially like the new menu. There's so much to choose from and it all tastes amazing! How can you beat duck + champagne combo! The food was always delicious, the drinks were always flowing, and the atmosphere was just what I needed. It's such a great place for brunch, dinner and drinks, you won't regret going! Claire and Steve are doing a great job with food.. After all they know what they are doing!

Everything was just so yummy. The decor was unique and incredible. After my meal, I was knocked into a food coma. The chefs as ex-ottlenghi so you can expect quality food!

Wow, ate at this fabulous restaurant over the weekend! From the menu I enjoyed the French duck burger - slow roast pulled duck, raclette cheese and onion chutney, was delicious! Well done, will definitely be coming back!

We had a brilliant time at the Bletchley. Truffles was a wonderful host and Sugartits made the most amazing cocktails! Would definitely recommend.

First of all, the place is difficult to recognize, because it still features the former pub's name on the building and...not much else. Second of all, the interior looks a bit shabby, and not in the good sense, there's this air of crookedness and improvisation that feels at odds with the smart marketing and credentials. Well, on to the food, then. Which is not half-bad, in all honesty. The duck cassoulet was delicious, especially because of the lard-treated, heavy-sauced, but breezily-eatable flageolet beans and an excellent `pistou`, which really elevated the whole concoction. The French burger was also everything it promised to deliver, in a perfectly contained decadent manner. The sides were not that fun: the skin-on-potato fries were these skinless out-of-the-supermarket-bag fries with absolutely no quality apart that of teasing the appetite (they were brought before the actual dishes); and the first tomato salad was a sheer beauty (easy to do, but so hard to come by these days), with this red and that yellow varieties, and a pleasantly pungent salsa to remember. But when we asked for a second one (because we liked it so much), we were served a bare-oil, quickly-chopped thing, very much in contrast to its predecessor. In the end, I can't say that we left dissatisfied with what we ate and drank, but maybe it would be wise to tone down the glitzy vibe which the place misses by quite a few degrees.

We went for the Bletchley experience and wow! What an experience it was. The team were fun and engaging, the tasks where fun and not too difficult. We both loved it and would highly recommend.

This place has such a beautiful interior and delicious food! We done a bottomless brunch and our glasses were filled even before finishing! I recommend the duck Vietnamese noodles… 10/10!

This restaurant is a must! The food is so tasty, truffle mac and cheese croquettes are delicious. We also tried the duck shawarma, burger and Aubergine Shawarma, all the dishes were lush 10/10 so many vegan options too. Atmosphere is fun and very welcoming, perfect for groups or dates. We will be back!

We had booked for lunch; upon arrival, they couldn’t locate the booking and it went downhill from there. Everything took ages - the menus, the drinks, the food, the condiments and the bill. We had to stand up and go inside multiple times to ask for anything. My vegetarian friend ordered a vegan burger and was served a beef burger with bacon. She then had to wait while the rest of ate our meals, and when it came out, it was burnt and she ate it alone. They forgot my other friend’s side dish altogether. The portion of mussels was truly tiny, and the chips were over-fried and in small pieces, like the kind you get at the end of a bag. BUT in their defence, there were only two staff members looking after the whole place (one of whom was on his first day), they knew they messed up, and they also tried to fix it by offering us Prosecco and taking the burger off the bill without us asking. That’s pretty decent, and is worth a star all on its own. However, at present I really couldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a meal, especially not for the price you pay. Maybe treat it as a bar as it has pretty good cocktails.

Amazing romantic evening at Jolie, we loved the decoration. The service was amazing (thanks to our waiter Fernando), the food and the cocktails were remarquable. Good portions sizes and great flavors. Will definitely come back.

Very welcoming place and charming personal. I love the interior, music food -all was sufisticated and fun. Especially I enjoyed lovley conversations with Vaz and Samuel. Apparently the weekend brunch is something to be experienced. I hope to find myself back there again sometime soon:)

We visited the Funhouse for a few cocktails. They were expensive for what was actually in them with regards to alcohol content. Would have preferred some longer cocktails on the menu. The waiting staff were very attentive and can't fault them. Would I visit again? Probably not as there are a number of cocktails bars in the Kings Road at similar prices so would try them first

Four of us, with an average age of 56, all a little uncertain what this gift - the Bletchley Experience -,was all about. Answer? Genuinely good fun, with charmingly helpful Staff, entertaining ‘agent’ challenges and excellent cocktails - lots - tailored to each individual. We followed two hours of cocktails with some outstandingly good mussels upstairs at Jolie.

Fantastic food, excellent service and staff especially Luis, Henry and the General at the WW2 cocktail extravaganza !! Loved my birthday treat and will see you again. Thank you.

Horrible experience! We came for brunch at 1pm and as soon as we walked in we felt uncomfortable. The so-called DJ didn't even look at us until a waitress came to greet us. The restaurant was empty, there was only one other couple and the smell inside was atrocious. It smelled like cold tobacco and urine (not sanitized or cleaned)! It didn't smell clean. Then we order two freshly squeezed orange juices and they bring us back industrial orange juice which they charge the price of fresh. My friend made the remark to one of the waitresses who went to the bar guy and then admitted that the orange juice was industrial! This is deception and unacceptable. As an apology, they charged us £3 for the orange juice. That's not all. Next came the food. The bacon was not cooked properly (dangerous and can cause indigestion), the avocado toast was stale and hard and everything else we ordered was just disgusting and not fresh. Also a note, we saw the cook behind his kitchen with no protection or gloves, playing on his mobile phone, which I find unhygienic. It's not professional. The experience was so disastrous that we asked to leave, not having finished our dishes. They simply charged us for orange juice and service charge (which we refused). The establishment itself is disappointing, smelly and run down. The food is not good and expensive for what it is. I don't recommend and I don't understand the positive reviews!

Absolutely love this place! So quirky and a real immersive experience. We went for a birthday thinking it was just one venue but we loved it when we found a hidden bar underneath around Bletchley park and then upstairs a bar dedicated to espresso martinis!!! Only danger is of like us, we didn't want to leave and missed our dinner reservation at a near restaurant hahaha! Fortunately, they also do food which was the cherry on top of this place! Tres bien!

Jolie is a Chelsea gem and such a versatile style - whether you want a cocktail or glass of wine with contemporary sharing plates and hang out on the terrace to people watch (as true French people do!), have a cool weekend brunch or wear your most fabulous dress to let loose on the weekend, Jolie & Chelsea Funhouse caters to all. The champagne unicorn is a must see!!

Visited by chance just looking for a cocktail bar, amazing selection of espresso martinis in a quirky lounge environment. All staff were very friendly, particularly the host.

Jolie looked like it would be fun during the evening but disappointing for brunch, unfortunately. Think my group and I may have caught them on a bad day - half the menu wasn’t available, service took ages, billing system was not working, they mixed up our order, etc. Food was ok but eggs were over cooked and the mushroom croquettes were dry. The terrace was very pretty though and must be buzzing in the summer so hoping to go back and catch them when the whole machinery works.

Food is pretty poor and heavy and leaves you with a bad aftertaste. The Cauliflower croquettes are horrendous. I don't know what it was but it was sickening. Service was good however.

Incredible spot for good cocktails. Love the atmosphere and staff, high energy, very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to deliver a good experience. Lots of good dishes to select from as well, always delicious food no matter what we select.

I LOVE this place so much! Amazing food, amazing ambiance, a really good crowd and great staff! Always a go-to place in London for me! Their fried cauliflower, king scallop and shiitake mushroom sliders are so delish! They also have a champage puking unicorn which is a great spot to get instagrammable pictures! I really recommend Jolie for celebrations, girls night outs, birthday dinners, or anytime you fancy good food. Their bottomless brunch is also very good!

Having come to London from Plymouth I expected an experience of upmarket French cuisine could not have been worse!!!!! The waitress was wonderful although very forgetful, the food when it arrived sporadically was tasty but things were missing and never arrived, lost in a kitchen somewhere in the building. The whole thing was a mess, steak tartare coming out with a couple of broken biscuits on an old dog bone was completely underwhelming and my wife's mussels with no French bread complete joke arrived 35 minutes after they brought out my boys scollops, service and detail is the norm in any Parisian restaurant

Food - great, staff - lovely, decor and music - impeccable. However, we still had a very poor experience. As a group of 6 we were seated at a COFFEE TABLE for dinner. The younger guests just sat on the floor to eat, the older guests (retirees) did not have a good time trying to bend down to eat their meals served below their knees. We asked to be moved, but were informed staff do not have the independence to change seating the owner decided. The food took HOURS to come, and they didn't have 5 menu items we wanted. We watched people who ordered after us get their meals first. My meals came first, so I finished eating by 19:00 and just sat there, while waiting for others. The last guest's meal wasn't served until 22:00! The kitchen was clearly understaffed. I also found it a bit weird the chefs were wearing regular clothes (t-shirt and jeans) and no hair nets on their long beards. I only had soft drinks, but two other guests said their alcoholic beverages tasted watered down? I'm not sure if that's common practice for such expensive cocktails. We witnessed multiple angry interactions between staff members, the manager raising his voice at the new-trainee staff to "talk to the customers" and "look behind you, can't you see". We were served by 5 different waiters, who were all very sweet, they gave us a free bottle of prosecco, and when asked, took off the service charge. With the 50% Monday-Wednesday discount we paid about £35 each. I believe that if you go on a different day, you can get a much better experience, but I would be cautious if you're planning a special event, or the quality and consistency of experience is important to you.

What a great night! The venue is beautiful, intimate and nicely decorated! The service is impeccable and the staff lovely and caring. The food was just amazing. I greatly recommend this place for lunch or evening as you can then go upstairs to the espresso martini bar or try the Bletchley experience downstairs in a Bunker!!

The service and place was good, but the food was awful. There are not many ways of making food so tasteless. I never had bad mushroom croquettes in my life until I visited this place. My companion was French and said there wasn't a hint of French in the food. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They should invest less money on their look and more on the food.

Everything is excellent (food, service, environment) until you pay the bill and they charge your group 5 extra drinks to try to make money off you. We went as a group of approx. 10 people and they really took advantage of the possibility we wouldn't check the bill They charged us for so many drinks we didn't order, and when we pointed out they apologised saying it was a mix up. Watch out for what you're charged.

Great selection of sharing plates, really tasty food. Nice cocktails and lovely outdoor terrace setup with heaters and shelter from the rain! Even on a cold wet night we still had a great evening! Will be back

One of the worst customer service I experienced in London in last ten years!!! Place is completely disorganized with careless staff who are pushing you to make 12£ drink orders every 10-20 minutes! When we came to the place we were told by the receptionist that place is fully booked and we can take table for two for around one hour. We decided to stay, have a drink and later on move to the bar downstairs. We told that to the receptionist. Within this one hour we were approached something like 5 times by different hostesses asking if we would like to order another drink. Although we haven't finished our first yet. At some point we were approached by -I believe Spanish -guy, who asked us for another drink. We explained the situation and been told by him, that we can stay as long as we would wish to. Therefore we decided to stay on same ground floor and have second drink. After short while he came to us again and told we have to leave and that they are waiting for us downstairs. We followed him there only to find out that place is fully occupied and we cannot stay there. So he took us to the outside terrace and immediately took the payment. It was very windy, cold day and with heavy rain. We asked him then to offer us any available place for two inside as quick as it will be possible and he promised to do that. In next 1,5 hrs they keep bringing some people there (none of them decided to stay on this weather conditions), coming to ask us if we would like to order some more drinks. For obvious reasons we weren't interested anymore in spending money in this place. At one point we went to toilet and realised that there's plenty of spare tables inside, however we weren't offer any on all three floors in at least two hours sitting on this unpleasant terrace. Then just half an hour before closing tarpaulin covering terrace just fallen down due to wind and heavy rain on top of it and splashed dirty water directly on us. Then we decided to leave this horrendous place and never come back.

Had a really nice brunch with you this afternoon. But disappointed to see you deliberately seating two tables of 6 next to each other so they could mingle as a larger group, totally going against the current rule of 6. This is not allowed!!!!!!

I went to Jolie twice to celebrate two different birthdays. The restaurant is built with a fun Parisian concept in mind, serving delicious foods and creative drinks. I would recommend their duck, mushroom croquettes and steak tartare. The second time I went there, we ordered all their vegetarian and vegan menus which was amazing as well. The staffs were attentive, very friendly and adhere to all the guidelines for Covid, making our dining experience even better. They even gave us complimentary desserts for both birthdays which made our experience so sweet and memorable.

Absolutely stunning spot in Chelsea with beautiful decor, friendly staff and a perfect French menu. The venue is decorated lavishly, but never feels pretentious. It's the type of place were time flies by while you are absorbed in the music, friendly service and small plates of food. Cocktails were creative, with one of them coming out in a smoke filled chest. For Champaign, I was encouraged to brush the nose of a unicorn which when filled my glass from its mouth. The food was french style, with flavourful croquettes, smoked duck breasts and beef tartar. There are also a few dished from 'holidays abroad' such as an amazing beef shin ragu pappardelle and burrata. We loved these all, and I'd say you need to get the croquettes and duck. If you love burrata, you can't beat this one either. After our meal, we had some fine espresso martinis, another specialty of the venue. Overall a really nice experience, made all the more great because of the friendly staff.

What a great little spot for a evening cocktail, popped down last week and was really impressed, staff were very accommodating after I made an error on the booking, really cool interior to relax in!
