First time to taste Iranian food and it was fantastic. Portion is very good. Don't forget to ask for their fresh baked bread. The food is really delicious and you should order Iranian bread with it The amount of food is very good and filling

Update April 2025., I Ate in and the food is still delicious. I had a hot dip to start with aubergines and walnuts with a side bread., then I had pork chops as a main. I still took some food home for later. Always a good meal from here as a takeout, and very popular for people dining in. The food is so fresh and cooked to order. It’s perfect really! And the staff are so nice.

My recent visit to Sadaf was a fairly average dining experience. The kebabs, while acceptable, didn't particularly stand out. I found them to be a bit under-seasoned, lacking the robust saltiness I typically expect. The atmosphere was also just 'okay' - nothing remarkable, but not unpleasant either. Essentially, it felt like a one-time visit kind of place. It didn't leave a lasting impression that would compel me to return. Overall, I'd rate it a solid 7 out of 10. It's not bad, but it's also not exceptional

Our group of 4 had a choice of several great looking cuisines all within close proximity to one another. Sadaf won our vote. The portions are mega generous. The flavours are authentic & full of flavour. The restaurant is clean & tables well spaced out. The staff were very polite & friendly. We dined for lunch to celebrate 2 birthdays. It was quiet but then the whole of that street was nothing like it was years ago when Whiteleys was a shopping centre. Now it is a grand home to rich folk. Hoping these businesses around can survive & keep their customers. We will be returning to Sadaf. Really excellent value for your money.

Another order arrived with a dish missing. And the last order was missing the nan and was also cold. The only way they will get any more money from me is through my cold dead fingers.

Brilliant Persian cuisine. Generous and tasty plates in a nice atmosphere. Try one of the Chelo Khoresh dishes or the excellent skewers.

The waiter ( with a tash) was very rude and inattentive to our table. He didn’t clear our table, we had dirty starter dishes on our table the whole time. For take aways; he gave us empty aluminium pots to prepare our own take aways on the table instead of doing it for us! ( We paid you for the service! ) He clearly doesn’t enjoy his job and had issues with us hence treating our table very differently from the others. The food however was nice but I won’t be going back. Maybe recruit non judgmental friendly waiters at your restaurant.. even if the food is good but the waiters are rude nobody will go back there. So 4.5/ 10 this time!

This restaurant is really great, the choice of dishes is very varied and there is something for everyone, whether in the dishes or in the spiciness of the dishes. The service is very pleasant and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very calm and soothing. Be careful, however, the dishes are very generous.

Side street parking available. Lovely welcoming restaurant with good vibes. We didn't have to wait much longer for a table of 3. The food was lovely and delicious. Nans were freshly made and were so tasty. Toilets were kept nice and clean. Definitely recommend good quality food and vibes. Just one thing, there was very limited option for dessert. Would be nice to see as variety of selection.

I recently ordered my dinner and set off to collect it. However, I quickly realised how freezing the weather was! I called them to explain my predicament, and their customer service was incredible. They went above and beyond to help me out by offering to deliver my order. This level of care for their customers is truly commendable, and they've definitely earned a loyal customer in me. Oh, and the food itself was delicious! The lamb shank was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the rice was perfectly cooked. I will definitely be ordering from them again and highly recommend them to everyone!

Not the best experience. The food wasn’t good at all, meat not fresh. Only good food was the bread (which we had to order several times to finally have them bring us a single piece). Also the head server was rude and condescending. He was cheeky with my father.. asking us to hurry up with the order because they are too busy, even though they weren’t really.. all the other tables already ordered and he and all the other servers were just standing by! I’m wondering if the reason to the rudeness is that we are a black family.

The kitchen is very unhygienic, the toilet is next to the kitchen in the basement, the toilet is in front of the dining tables on the ground floor, the quality of the food is low but expensive. They are generally very weak and dirty.

We had a wonderful evening at Sadaf on Friday, introducing some friends to Persian cuisine for the first time. They absolutely loved it—especially the Koobideh, lamb chops, and Doogh. We ordered the mixed platter for two; it was a bit pricey, as expected for central London, but well worth it in my opinion. We’ll definitely be back for future occasions!

I was invited to dinner by a colleague from Iran at this traditional Persian restaurant in London. The restaurant offers a nice selection of meals with a simple menu. The portions are quite generous, including two skewers of well-prepared lamb mince kebab and fresh made naan. The staff are also quite friendly.

I had an awful experience at this restaurant. They claim to serve Persian food, but it’s nothing like it—complete false advertising. The worst part? They reheated the kebab in a microwave! The meat was tasteless, and disgusting, and the rest of the food was just as bad. If you’re expecting a real meal, avoid this place. Truly disappointing.
