Very friendly, foods delicious, lovely space.

Out on a bike ride yesterday and called in S80 for the first time but it definitely won't be the last. Excellent cappuccino and a top notch bacon sandwich. Good off road place for my bike and the interior was also a really pleasant surprise. A little gem I didn't know about before yesterday. p s. I hope you found the 5p under the fridge 😆

Do not have oats,almond or soya milk

Everything is cooked fresh, food is very good. Well worth a visit.

Go to s80 2-3 times a month. Best breakfast for miles around and great value.

Called in today there were 9 of us in total all wanting food and drinks. We all love this cafe. We were told that there was no cooked food available as they had no bread left. I noticed a loaf of bread on the side and I asked what about that. I was told it was already accounted for. I also noticed about 10 bread rolls under the counter. As a business owner myself I felt, was the owner away and those running the café didn’t want to make the food for so many people. If I’m wrong I apologise just seemed very strange.

Very welcoming, warm comfortable, only had a coffee & a teacake both were delicious. Just what you need after a walk on a frosty morning

Lovely cooked breakfast, cooked to order not sat getting cold. The owner is very friendly and chatty. The whole place has some very interesting objects dotted around, well worth a visit.

Nice coffee shop serving food. Unfortunately our visit coincided with them reopening after a holiday and not everything on the menu was available. We were able to order food to our satisfaction and enjoyed it very much. Service wasn’t fast food level but it’s not a fast food restaurant so we were happy. We weren’t rushed to leave either. I believe it was the owner who was doing the cooking etc. and he was very friendly with everyone that visited. Well worth a return visit.

After passing the S80 many times before today and thinking "Wow, this place looks great" today was the day I decided to pop in and try it. I was after a takeaway coffee as I was working and didn't have time to sit and relax. However, I found the interior design as aesthetically pleasing as the exterior. I needed to pay with my phone as I didn't have any cash in my pocket, so made sure contactless was an option and if a minimum spend (£5.00) was required. I had no issues with spending £5.00 and after scanning the reasonably priced menu board I chose a regular latte and a bacon roll. From experience this is the point where whoever is serving would usually say "extra shot?, sugar? any sauce? etc" I wasn't asked these questions and had to request sugar to put in my coffee wich arrived 1st. My bacon roll arrived shortly afterwards, wrapped in foil and also bagged. I knew there wasn't any sauce on it as I hadn't been asked. I scanned the tables, located a sauce bottle and as I was leaving the cafe I stopped to add sauce to my bacon roll. At this point, the chef/owner (who had his back to me) shouted "If you had asked me for sauce then I would've put it on for you." "Pardon" I said So he shouted again (still with his back to me across a busy establishment) "I could've put sauce on that for you if you had asked me before I wrapped it" A little taken aback by this man's outburst I replied "Well you could've asked me if i wanted any?!" This made the man turn to face me and say "What" I repeated myself and this appeared to offend the guy! He turned his back on me again and said "Wow, it must be great to go walking around being Mr angry! 🤣" And it is this comment that has prompted me to leave my review. In my opinion this is not the way to conduct yourself or speak to your customers. Also, to go making comments like "Mr angry" for a busy restaurant to hear, and also the paying customers who you are insulting is unacceptable! Perhaps this man should take on board that a takeaway customer may require sugars and sauce and maybe consider asking your customers when they order! Well done for earning yourself my 2-star review and although your establishment has all the right attributes to become a little goldmine, your attitude leaves a lot to be desired.

Fantastic little coffee house and cafe, this place is an absolute gem! The cost rustic themed interior makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door, then there's the hospital... The staff are so polite and attentive, nothing is too much trouble for them to help with. I would highly recommend visiting for breakfast, their sausages are made locally and are absolutely amazing. Definitely worth a visit if your passing through!

I always pop in here for a good hearty breakfast whenever I bring a coach up to Creswell Crags. Service and food are always top notch! This really is the place to come for scran in Creswell.

Returned to Creswell for breakfast to celebrate my birthday as I was born in the village many years ago. Food was excellent and the memories on the wall was very interesting. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Called in with my whippet found the owner very rude but we were thirsty n hungry. Tea was ok but coffee very weak Egg cob hardly had any egg on and bread very dry. Tuna cob ok but again bread dry Place could do with a good clean he said he didn't want my dog jumping up which he don't do anyway he just laid on the floor . Not that I would have let him on the furnishings cos they looked dirty had to wipe him before we got. In the car. The waitress was friendly .

Spot on! Fantastic quality, cooked well, good price and great customer service.

Bit disappointed that they couldn't go "off menu" to meet our request.

Went here with friends after several recommendations. I thought overall the place was well run, clean and tidy, with a nice selection of food and drink. The reason I've not gone the full five is several of the items on that menu were off that day.

First time visiting this place myself and the wife had a coffee and I had a bacon cob nothing to complain about would definitely call again

Delightful hidden gem. Parking. Light and airy, with amazing big windows - perfect for watching the world go by. Comfy sofas for relaxing. Fabulous bacon cob. Nice hot chocolate too. Lovely owner. Great value. Love all the pictures with the history of the place and local local area. Looking forward to returning.

Happened upon this lovely coffee shop by accident as we had gone wrong on a dog walk. So glad we made the error as this cafe is fantastic. We had coffee, poched egg on toast and a sausage bap. I thought my husbands eyes were going to pop out of his head when the bap arrived . . It was huge !!! And delicious apparently 😋 My poached eggs were perfect and the lattes were strong and hot which was great as we were sitting outside. Very friendly and quick service and really good value

My 1st visit to this coffee shop on the main road in creswell,staff were very welcoming & pleasant.the usual covid measures,hand sanitizer gels & track n trace details in place with socially distanced tables if you want to stay inside ,nice choice of drinks & breakfast items on the menu .Opening times are from 830am til 2pm .

Great little cafe, friendly staff, lovely food especially the chips! Worth noting they don't offer vegan hot drinks so be sure to take your own milk if planning to buy a coffee or tea! ☺️

Lovely cafe with really friendly staff.

I took my family for breakfast here and noticed straight away when walking in no gloves were worn doing food preparation at all. The lady serving actually took customer money touched her hair and carried on making my husbands sandwich without washing hands plus using her finger to put the sandwich filling onto the bread roll as well as using the spoon. I wanted to complain but I had my adult autistic son with us who would have panicked had I made a complaint so we paid and walked out. All food was prepared without gloves by both staff.

Been a couple of times now and I love it, it's your typical lovely local cafe, which have a really lovely breakfast menu among other things. They are really understanding if you want to change what's on the menu and remember there regulars. The cafe is dog friendly too with part of it for dogs and part for not. Unfortunately due to the current situation dogs aren't allowed in but still has a lovely atmosphere and can't wait to go again.

Very pleased to find this cafe on my bike ride. Really great food and coffee, will be back for sure.

Lovely staff,but a bit disappointed as not got much on offer in food wise as ran out of a lot on the menu,asked for no butter on my sandwich but when it came mmmm BUTTER,got a look of disgust from the guy but was rushed for time so I had to eat it,so I do t think I would go again xx

Lovely coffee do a very nice breakfast

We were going to have coffee armt Cresswell Crags visitor centre but it was closed. This place is a great find, oy 5 mins, walk away and they do decaff cappuccinos! Nice sofas to snuggle on and lots of space. It was busy at 12:30 on a Wednesday in November, a few cyclists as well as locals.

Local cafe, great food and great service, love every visit here.

One of the only places in the village to get a vegetarian breakfast, staff always friendly and interacting with customers, always clean and food well presented. Only thing that would improve it for me personally is a dairy alternative for coffee ✌️ 👍

We visited for lunch with a baby, toddler and dog and were so glad if our choice! Great welcome and lovely range of options on menu. Kids could choose from a range of kids meals but opted to share a breakfast beans on toast (served until 2pm!) which the kitchen very handily served on 2 plastic plates with children’s cutlery. There were a few high chairs to contain the little ones too. We chose a panini and wrap and they were lovely. Finished off sharing a scone. We will be back!

We called here by chance on our way to cresswell crags and what a little gem of a place! So glad we found it, the breakfast was enormous and absolutely amazing! The staff are friendly, attentive and even gave our son some chocolate buttons which was a lovely gesture. The decor is lovely and really comfortable with a modern arty touch. The prices are also very reasonable for the portions and quality of the food. Will be visiting again soon!

Visited a couple of times before in the hope that it would improve as I do like the location and the decor however, after an initial cheery greeting the speed of service was painfully slow to say the place only had a handful of customers in. We were served with our drinks and by the time our sandwiches turned up my hot drink was stone cold. Annoying as I sat and watched 2 people come in and order takeaway bacon sandwiches then leave before I’d even seen my food. Clearly seated customers aren’t their priority. I was neither asked if everything was ok or If I wanted another drink. Another annoyance is I always leave smelling of fried food, they really need an extractor fan that works. I don’t think I will be visiting again which is a shame as I so wanted it to be my regular local treat.

Having been past many times I decided to call in with my daughter and I'm really glad I did. Service is great, lovely friendly chatty waitress, burger was delicious and panini too and the chips are I think the best I've had. Scone was really nice and fresh and the coffee delicious. The ingredients are obviously good quality. All this for £20!Brilliant and will definately be calling again.

Visited today on our way home to Cuckney. Have passed many times but today was the first opportunity to frequent. My daughter was asleep on arrival, so popped her on the couch and ordered our food. They were helpful when it came to my serious nut allergy and advised us that the coffee my mum was drinking had hazelnuts in. Always reassuring for someone like me when eateries take allergies seriously. Our food was lovely, well priced and served in good time. We will return for sure. Thanks.

Absolutely great full english breakfasts today. The quality of the ingredients are really superb, excellent bacon gorgeous sausage and premium eggs. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Portions are very generous and well presented followed by excellent coffees. Altogether, a highly recommended venue.

First time went for breakfast today. Never again! We're waiting for 40 minutes! Food was cold and greasy, covered in black frying pan dust. Tinned mushrooms were fried many times before being served, although served cold. Eggs were served in tiny "kids kitchen" frying pan, cold, swimming in fat. My wife had to send his breakfast back to the kitchen. Waiter asked if they can cook him "fresh one" my wife answered that doesn't have another 40 minutes to wait. Ordered "fresh orange juice" turned to be from carton. Why not write in the menu just an"orange juice" so you do not misleading your customers. Very disappointing.

Great coffee and breakfast. We dropped in this morning after taking the kids pony trekking nearby. Super friendly staff and great service. Shame we live 3 hours away otherwise we'd be regulars!

Have eaten here many times in the past all the produce used is a good quality, The staff & owner are friendly, The coffee is good the only small issue is the lack of extraction for the cooking area, if you sit in the wrong spot you end up smelling like you’ve done the Cooking!!! Sorry just being honest!!!

Go here regularly and must admit the bacon butty is top notch. Only had a full cooked breakfast once but again the standard of the food is absolutely top drawer. What makes it even better if you chat with the owner he will tell about the produce being sourced locally. Go give this place a whirl you wont be disappointed.

Great, contemporary, clean cafe! Needed to find a place for breakfast one morning as my B&B's kitchen was unavailable. Had a cracking Full English, Latte and fresh OJ. Cooked by a very pleasant chef! Recommended!

The staff here are very friendly. The breakfast is great, as other reviewers have mentioned they do a healthy version, which is just as yummy. The singing from the kitchen, very entertaining!!

Really nice staff ... I go there a lot when I go to horse riding lessons and it is a great way to pass the.time as the staff are friendly, food.is amazing, and the little.tv is never short to entertain so if you are wanting a nice coffee break I recommend there.

We call here every Friday and the breakfast cobs are the best for miles. Also been here a few times for lunch, which is as well very nice. Top notch chips and well presented.
