Brilliant place the beef burger and onions are to die for, everything is fresh the breadcakes are so fresh the owner is so friendly just stop and have something to eat i come from Sheffield but I travel over to see my mum inlaw in Alford and I can't wait for my burger and onions ,. So a big thank you X

Good quality bacon. £1.80 for small bacon cob with brown sauce. The so called small cob is huge with three large slices of bacon. Fantastic value for money.

This little place is a hidden gem. A "Greasy Spoon" kind of place that is easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. SO, pay attention!! If you are staying at the Derbyshire Hotel at M1 junction 28 or happen to be in that vicinity at breakfast time it is a great place to stop; definitely worth pulling off the motorway for. (it's 2 minutes away) We have only ever eaten breakfast there so cannot vouch for the other mealtimes but the breakfasts and variations thereof are great. Also, the take away cobs and sandwiches that can be seen being prepared look wholesome and tasty. The ladies who run the place are friendly and efficient. We come here whenever we visit the UK and are never disappointed.
