Cafe Franny's in Bolsover

Called in after looking around locally Had a large breakfast and tea Very surprised by amount and size of plate Really good value

Popped in for spontaneous breakfast and had a slap-up feast with lovely coffee. The café is clean as is the spacious adapted toilet. Will be coming back soon for the cottage pie which looked wonderful. The staff were friendly and chirpy. An altogether positive experience.

Good home cooked food , best bacon for miles . All cooked to order and I’d struggle to make at home for less cost . From what I can see most produce is locally sourced (saw a staff member collecting mushrooms from local veg shop , cobs from local bakery etc ) very welcoming atmosphere a little hidden gem .

In Shirebrook and looking for somewhere to eat? You can't get better than this place. If you are hungry, try one of Kate's breakfasts - they range from regular, which is good. Then we have large, which is better, and there is MEGA which was Dave's idea and I can't even begin to imagine eating that one without starving for a week. Good quality home cooked food and wonderful warm, friendly staff. It's like home from home. All the food is cooked to order, nothing sitting around under warming lamps or swimming in grease here! Friendly faces, warm welcome, and if you are lucky, you'll probably get to meet most of the family. Cafe Franny's is relaxed, cosy, friendly, and local.

Visited Shirebrook in August on Friday Morning and me and my wife had a small breakfast each and a pot of tea. The price was very good and the service excellent. It was very clean and has toilet for customers. High rating of 5 stars by the local council.
