Thought I was buying three kebabs as part of a combination deal only to find I picked up the order. It was one kebab cost me 25 quid which is an absolute joke.

Very late and still not arrived!!!

I used to visit S&S when I worked nearby and always enjoyed their kebabs. After nearly six years I returned as I was close by and I’m happy to say the chicken shish is still excellent….the missus and I really enjoyed our Saturday night treat.

Food was over an hour late and when it arrived it was cold and portion size very small.

Had to ring the restaurant twice for delivery updates. Waited nearly 90mins for a delivery from a restaurant that is 11 minutes away. When it did turn up, it was cold and items were missing

Do not order from here. Just orderd lamb shish for 60 euro and had to throw it in the trash

The doner meat was uncooked and the food was cold. The pitta was wet from the salad as it hadn't been heated. We had to throw everything away. Incredibly disappointed would never order again.

Super fast delivery, great tasting food a bundle of meat more than enough for two people from a large kebab . Have used these guys many times and always a quick delivery and always hot . The best chilli sauce in town .

Two hour wait for two children’s meals .

The only good thing it was early. The food was cold and when I called the shop the gentlemen told me I was wrong and it wasn’t. What a shame poor customer service

Never left a review before but felt had to this once. On arrival food was cold and chips hard. When my husband called the server argued with him. Will never be ordering from here again.

listen lads I don't like leaving negative reviews because I love your kebabs. But your delivery Driver tonight was a joke. All they need is a driving licence and the ability to read and speak English I'm assuming they have a licence because they fail on the other 2. I give clear and concise instructions when ordering but when the pleb doesn't speak the language I wrote them in its going to be a problem right? they need to understand the language of the country they've decided to work in simple

listen lads I love your food to bits but having delivery drivers that don't read or speak English makes it challenging for everyone. I know I'm difficult to find but I give clear and concise instructions when I order so don't appreciate being shouted at by the driver for their ineptitude. Great kebab though 😋

I think another of people are only reviewing with bad experience I use these lads weekly and chicken kebab chips and Halloumi is constantly exceptional and blows all other kebab shops away. I'm guilty of only reviewing when bad too. Well done lads 👍

It has been a while since we had a kebab and when it came for ordering, there really is only one place. Consistent quality, decent prices and excellent service.

Absolutely delicious !! Combination kebabs arrived exactly how we wanted them, wrapped in the pitta bread. Food nice and hot, salad as requested with no onion. Delivery a few minutes early and a friendly delivery lady.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I’ve just spent the past 24 hours violently throwing up after eating their chicken wrap and the worst thing is it wasn’t even a nice wrap. 1/10. Would not recommend.

I've been ordering kebabs since 2020 and love their lamb shish and chilli sauce. The meat is a bit tough so not for everyone, but it is very tasty, by far the best kebab I've ever eaten. Comparable to the kebabs you get in Turkey.

Food quality is always good. Unfortunately the prices seem to increase more often lately.

Food turned up stone cold and 30 minutes late and delivery driver was rude to me as I didn’t open the door within 5 seconds. Terrible service won’t be ordering again…..

I do not understand the negative reviews for this company! Amazing food, really nice quality chicken, all delivered hot to our door in about 25 minutes. They have their own app. Excellent all round

Apparently after waiting for 89 mins... food does not get cold.... I live a 20 min walk from s and s. Or a 4 min drive. After waiting over 89 mins I was told food does not hey cold and its my problem. Shocking. Absolutely awful.

Small portions, good was just okay.

Food was amazing and delivery was early. But the delivery man was very rude. Pulling a face, where I noticed he was sitting in the car when I answered the door, he told me rudely that he was waiting for 10 minutes for someone to answer and that he rang the door bell and called lots of times. He only called me once where i answered the door as quickly as I could afterwards. Nobody in my household heard the doorbell and he didn’t knock on the door once. I was not happy with the delivery man’s attitude at all.

We ordered two combination kebabs, chicken and lamb shish, and a kofte and doner, and small chips, it was exactly as I asked for it, wrapped in the pitta bread so the juices sink in, the chicken and lamb shish was so tender and flavoursome and the chips were hot and crispy and a lot of them for small. Very pleased, the best kebabs !!

Turn up and was fit for the bin. Sweating in a carrier bag. Stone cold And just looked knackered. Wish I didn’t bother

Food was nice and hot and the combination kebabs were generous, chicken shish was so tender and tasty, I left a note to have the kebabs wrapped in the pittas and no onions in the salad and all was just as I asked. Very Pleased !!

Would not recommend if you want to wait 2 hours for some chips and a bit of doner meat😂

Good was dry, wrap and burger bun was hard… not great food

We order from here all the time and have done for years but unfortunately tonight the meat was really awful. It was quite obviously old meat and it smelt and tasted like it had gone off. Won't be ordering on a Monday again for this reason. Clearly it wasn't fresh.

Missing the kebab meat from special burger!!!

I’ve never eaten flip flop but I would definitely recommend over this kofte. I lost weight chewing it. The rest wasn’t too bad and chilli sauce very nice but it could of been so much better.

Shocking food this evening, pitta was so soggy that the paper was stuck to it & couldn’t be peeled off. Kebabs were cold, no sauce & little salad, even though I requested both with sauce & salad except onion. Extremely disappointed today, has put a dampener on our evening! Food was also 20 minutes over the confirmed time stated. Received a text 4 minutes after the original stated delivery time for it to then take 16 more minutes for not a long journey.

Placed my order 18:23, didn’t turn up until 20:04. Called them twice. First time I called, was told it’s on its way. 25 mins later, I called again and was told the driver is doing multiple drop offs. It arrived, the food was cold. Driver was talking on the phone when he delivered it. Disappointed as this place use to be amazing.

I bought a separate box of Hummus, it was acid test, chicken wasn't cooked properly I had to put iton my frypan. Never again.

Usually we have a great meal here but not tonight, it was due to be delivered at 5.25 pm and at 5.35 on PC it said "Enjoy your food" so I phoned explained we hadnt got the food and they said they were just leaving.. it was another 20 mins before it arrived. The lamb shish was hard, overcooked, dry and very chewy, there didnt seem to be any mayonnaise sauce that I ordered. Maybe being Friday evening they were super busy but for the first time from S & S Charcoal we were very disappointed.

Chips arrived warm but hard and rubbery, donner kebab meat was partly cold and just warm. Unfortunately threw in bin so wont order from here again

Feel disappointed with the food , been getting kebabs here for years , donner meat really thin like paper , salad not separate but in the same box as the meat , even worse , I asked for chillie sauce , it used to come in a pot but now they put it on the meat , not good , won’t be using them for a while .

Ordered a chicken and kofte kebab. Chicken was very tasty but I wasn’t too keen on my Kofte , the meat seemed a bit strange and not as normal, a bit bland and not that “meaty”.

Great food as always, served just as I asked with the kebab meat and salad inside the pitta bread, then wrapped and hubbys favourite special burger, along with a very generous portion of chips which are just right. We will continue to use S & S Charcoal !!

Awful food and even worse service, these guy really need to sort out their attitude, shouted at my 88 year old mother who was collecting food.

Had a lamb shish and it was delicious. Meat pieces were a good size and very tender. Salad was fresh and crunchy. Staff were polite and friendly. Would buy from there again. Quality food.

Absolutely awful. Ordered from here before a while ago and it was so good we thought we would treat ourselves. Not only have they hiked their prices up, the quality is terrible. Chips tasted days old and were cold. Kebab was below average, and we had to call up to find out where the food was as it was so late! Never ordering from here again.

Payed 20 quid for some chips and about 6 pieces of meat and little salad not worth it at all.

Firstly the burger and kebab meat were cooked perfectly but, as I always do, I requested the meat and salad in the kebab to be put into the pitta bread and wrapped.. I also asked in the note for no onions in the salad for the kebab or burger. The kebab however came in a polystyrene box with salad one end and the meat the other and the pitta bread was left on top. I like it wrapped in the pitta as the juices from the meat get into the pitta and the shredded salad was packed with onions. The pitta bread was hard and dry. I have previously been very happy. Just a little disappointed that my notes were ignored on this occasion.

Fantastic food and very generous portions. One of the best halloumi kebabs I've ever had!

If there was such thing as a 0 star, they would get it. I had to point out to the ‘owner’ Ali, there was mould on the salad. He simply removed that piece from the salad bowl and left the rest to serve to new unknowing customers. I felt sick. Never ever again.

I had a kebab Lamb and Chicken shish, hubby had burger and chips, food was delivered just as I asked for with meat and salad inside the pitta. The meat was cooked to perfection and the burger I was told was one of the best he had had, food was still hot. Small chips were also a very generous portion. Thoroughly enjoyed as usual . Have used many times, but lately the delivery times are shocking!!! Food cold when arrived! Call restaurant to be told on its way! Not even checking order!!!

Delivery was late, 85 % of dish was fryes and salats Disappointed

50 mins late, food over cooked, dry and cold. And a bit stingey with the meat - salad took up half the box. Previous good reviews from me but this one was poor

Food delivered was not what was ordered. Onion rings instead of scampi! Was advised that we would receive a refund but this has not been received.

The best kebabs in our little town. Everything tastes fresh, is cooked beautifully and delivered piping hot. Be prepared to wait a bit longer for your food on busy weekends (sporting events etc), but it is well worth it!

2hours and 20 mins after ordering and still waiting! App said would be 1 hour, totally unacceptable. Called to chase and they just say ‘sorry, nothing we can do’. Not good enough, have lost very loyal customers! Edit- did rectify this by offering us a free meal a week later that was on time and we’re very apologetic.
