One star it gave my mum food poisoning don’t recommend 3 service it was fast but u had to put a code for the toilet? 2 atmosphere it was empty

Have a quiet lunch here. The food was as good as we've come to expect from Five Guys. Notably, we were served by Abhi, who was an absolute star. Well definitely visit again!

it took about 2h 20m from the moment I have placed the order! I would rather have them refuse the order than to way this long.

The person over the phone was so rude. I ordered 3 peanut milk shake! They didn’t give 2 of my milk shake and gave me a strawberry milk shake which I did not order.

Order at 7pm on a Friday night, was delivered at 8.43pm

I was served by a lovely employee called Laiza at Five Guys Romford, I’m a little picky with the way I like my food prepared and she executed it perfectly and with no complaints.

Was all cold 2 hours late want refunded not worth the money

I came last night at around 11:12 when knocking on the door the guy inside said they are closed.I investigated and they don’t closed by 11:30. When i check online the timings was 11:30 however the guy refused to served me and said they closed at 11. Disappointed

I've liked 5 guys when I've visited their other restaurants. However, I will not be returning to this location. I got bad food poisoning after coming here so definitely would not recommend.

Where do I even start the burgers were very bland with barely any flavour whatsoever, thought adding some salt might help, clearly I was wrong, as much as you say that your meat is fresh I have some doubts as meat %100 needs to be stored in a cool environment for it to not go bad and as you state having no freezers, that is a little concerning, meat tastes sour in a way so a little tip is invest in a freezer, also got food poisoning from the food I had there (most probably the meat)

The milkshake and fries were brilliant, but I was a bit disappointed with the burger. It looked like it was very rushed and flung together by someone who worked at McDonald's. Considering it wasn't presented in 5 minutes I thought it would look a bit better and the meat was thicker than expected, the bun was squashed.

Order placed at 4:56pm but didn't arrive until 5:57. Originally the website said 15 to 30 minutes.

Quite fast delivery. Food was still warm.

The bag was soggy when it came.

My fordt ordered was unavailable and a payment error message appeared. I had to order twice and when the forst order finally arrive I couldnt cancel the 2md order. The confusion was caused by tour website. Await to hear from you.

Not a great fan thought I would try this for a change the burger was hot enough but the bun was soggy no garnish n definitely NOT worth the money I won’t be ordering again

Food was cold order was at restaurant for the longest time, I was checking. Hardly if any hot sauce. Never had this problem before usually burger is caked with the sauce. Delivery driver made up for it as he was very polite.

Food came an hour later and everything was cold and stale

Food was cold i am disabled driver was rude to me he was lost rings me then when i got the food he said why are you shouting at me. i said i was telling you where to deliver it sometimes these drives scare me

Great food and employers were amazing

Really good food. The fries are probably the best you can get in Romford, and the hot dog was very tasty. The staff were very helpful, as I am disabled. If you want a hot dog (or, I assume, a burger) and fries that are fresh and still hot, go here. Atmosphere could only be medium as I visited on a Wednesday evenening when it was quiet.

I have not received my order. it was before 2.00 and it is still here. This is a poor service which can come under fraudulent. The review I am is -100

As far as fast food burgers go - pretty decent, although do not expect the greatest quality of food, service or serving of the food - chips and burger all thrown into a paper bag..

Frankly one of the best branches of 5 guys, they seem to be really hot on customer service & toilets were truly spotless. Food was impeccable, if you like wholesome burger & delicious fries. Air conditioning was most welcome as a retreat from heat.

Ordered my food, waited over an hour and a half, called the restaurant was told they have no drivers and that I can’t get my food and to cancel the order, I proceeded to do so and I didn’t get a refund

I went to Five Guys the other day and it was pretty relaxed. The staff was hustling and the place was spotless. It's way calmer than other burger joints, too. The prices are a bit steep compared to Mc Donald's, but when you see the size of those beef patties and fries, you'll get why. And let me tell you, the burgers and fries were amazing!

food was mediocre, packed taste and not value for money at all

This is probably the worst hotdog I've ever eaten. iIt's the first and last time I'll ever be eating at Five guys. Absolutely terrible food. Hotdog is more like mashed potato.

I ordered a cheeseburger and fries but cheeseburger was missing because the paper bag was wet and was broken for that my cheeseburger felt in the courier bag. I will like an refund.

Amazing Burger. I'd most certainly come again for the burger. Chips, while nice, are average. I'm happy to pay for quality, and that is exactly what the burger is, top quality, but the cost of the soda fountain is extreme, £4.35. Yes, free refills, but still.

The burger tasted absolutely awful . No taste on the meat and and tbh it didn’t even taste like a burger. I don’t know why because I’ve eaten in at this five guys and the burger tasted good.

First time visiting five guys , and had a great experience a big massive shout out to the workers, especially Gareth, which took the time to explain the menu and help us, making our experience much easier and enjoyable.

I am astonished that Five Guys even exists in this country. I paid over £10 for fries and a vegetarian sandwich, which contained only lettuce and tomatoes. I had to pay extra for cheese!!! This did not include a drink. The service was ok, but the product is not worth the money for. The place is empty even at peak times tells you all. ☹️

Food stone cold - so went straight in the bin. Took 40 minutes to get here from leaving the restaurant- I could have walked there and back myself and get it quicker

Very Over Priced, burgers are tiny and the food was wrapped in my mums old tinfoil and the chips were in a paper cup that looked like someone sat on them. Five Guys seem to think they are amazing but the reality is its poor.

I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for my food just for five guys to cancel my order and refund my money. I am absolutely starving and will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT

DONT ORDER THROUGH APP LIKE UBER FOR MILKSHAKE THEY SPILLED IT I only bought milkshakes and fries because its not halal to have their burgers

As good as any other Five Guys I went to in London. Never had any issues with the food, service or even delivery. However, I hope this place will continue to stay open as whenever I come here there only seems to be one or two other customers, when locations like Stratford always are nearly full up with people.

The Delivery guy was super friendly

That is not about food. I'm a delivery rider . I went to five guys to take orders, and I wanted to use the toilet but their staff said that head office doesn't approve of using the toilet for delivery riders.😡What the hell is the reason? we are also their half employees, 🤪but we are helping them to deliver food, why not allowed?🚫😡It's racist. We worked hard to deliver your meals to your customers and we were treated unfairly. And this is the first place in the uk not allowed use the toilet for the delivery riders , I think so 😡😡😡

Just received what should be my order but got someone else’s order instead. Now need to find food from somewhere else and hope that Just eat give me a refund. Five guys isn’t cheap so to mess up the order is rubbish

There was significantly less fries than usual amount given for a regular fries

Arrived early but the burger wasn’t wrapped properly so it had come apart in the delivery bag which was leaking.

Honestly I don’t have any complaints about the food nor the general service that I received. However when I entered this establishment I saw this short male with glasses which I could only assume was the manger shout at an employee to run to the till and I will empathise the ‘RUN’ as he repeated it serval times to the poor employee before I had even got to the till which created a sense of urgency which then made me feel rushed. This is solely due to the mange’s lack of customer service and social skills. I hope this review will shine light on the problem at Romford 5 guys and this can be reviewed.

The person who delivered was fantastic, delivered right to the door. Because of him I'll be using Just Eat over any other food delivery companies.

Milk shakes amazing fries good too but ordered a large which in five guys in huge this was a small brown bag ! Wouldn’t order as take away again. Fries and 2 shakes - £20!

Worst food ever! The beef burger was not cooked , raw meat really disgusting and the smell was awful. Waste of money.

Bacon Cheeseburger was great. Huge amount of fries, which are OK, not great. Reese’s shake was very good but kept getting stuck in the flimsy paper straw. £33 for 2 bacon cheeseburgers, 1 fries, 2 shakes. It’s expensive but it’s (just about) worth it. Restaurant was very clean. Staff were very polite and friendly. Don’t ever order from here for delivery. What you get is nothing like the photos.

Just got a milkshake, absolute rip off. Had better shakes in McDonald's £5.50 for watery ice cream given to you with a paper straw that is good for nothing that turns to mush after 2 sips, fuming I wasted time and calories. Never again

Ordered two burgers, one was fine the other was just a bun with some onions and a couple slices of bacon I know just eat will refund me for it but now I have to make myself something to eat while my partner eats hers ..how did they not notice when wrapping it up it was literally just bread I love five guys but won’t be ordering again from the Romford branch as they obviously make a lot of mistakes judging by the other reviews as well

Five Guys was quiet when we went there, although they took almost ten minutes to complete our order. The burgers were average and they weren't very hot, the fries came in large portions and cold drinks were available from a self service drinks dispenser. I bought three meals and the price was nearly £40. The food was no better than McDonald's, but then McDonald's is far cheaper. I won't be returning to Five Guys in a hurry.

It was my first time and i enjoyed it. Esp the milk shake with caramel and nuts flavour.

Friendly staff and incredibly tasty burgers and shakes. We've had gourmet and cheap as chips burgers and five guys seems to still top them all.

I can often find Five Guys burgers quite oily, but on the two occasions I've eaten from this branch they've been juicy without being saturated in oil, with the burger buns not even going soggy when delivered; this is a great branch.

I was served by Dorina one of the best staff over there … very knowledgable about the menu and very helpful with the guidance to do the right choice for each people needs ..

Always nice coming here. Food always tastes good. Only thing to improve is maybe a screen to show when the order is ready, as sometimes it’s loud and difficult to hear staff.

Milkshakes are the best, nice and thick and the best flavours available. Also wonderful service from the gentlemen serving (Cliff, i think hes name was).
