This was my second visit to Ruya, and both times the service and food have been really good. The kuzu pirzola was a bit underwhelming but the adana kebap is really nice.

Very good quality of food; the waiter, Mr Can, was very kind and attentive. We will recommend Ruya to our friends!

This was for a birthday dinner for my best friend and I can say that the staff definitely makes this place awesome. I received a great service from Can, Leyla, Bahar and Pedro. They knew what to suggest to me and they were very attentive. We had lamb cutlets, and short rib as our main, tantuni for starter, we also had smoked aubergine which was absolutely delicious. As a side we tried truffle chips and pistachio rice. The atmosphere here is awesome and as Turkish erson myself I can say the meat was lovely, soft, juicy and very tender on both our mains. We also had nazar cocktail and back lava cocktail which were both deliciously done. I would definitely recommend this place. Ambience was amazing Thanks guys OZGE, X X X

Good contemporary twist to Turkish cuisines with elevated menu. For some reason been to this place 3 times and always not so busy! They have good pide , the dough is excellent and so good but recently they reduced the pide options and becoming only basic! The starters are good overall and the meat quality is good especially the grilled options! Though it’s on the expensive side given the portion and the vibes! Good to try for one time!

Spectacular environment and delicious cuisine.

It was so good we wanted to order more but we were soooo full! Isli Patlican, Barley Risotto and the Short Ribs are absolutely to die for! The service also not too intrusive and impeccable! Can’t wait to come back!!

Nice place but that's it!! It's not a nice Turkish food that they serve. Extremely small portions and the price is not accordingly. Not recommended at all!!.. They replied to my review by claiming that I was not there:) Those restaurant owners, instead of taking seriously the bad reviews and checking themselves, of course they prefer this way, because it's easier. If you go to my account, you will see basically such a few number of the negative reviews. So, that means when you do good business you will get good review!! By the way before writing this review, as turkish, I tried to reach them myself on Instagram to share my experience rather than writing here but you can't imagine how rude they were.. So, good luck to them.. Reply to the restaurant; yes, I realised I didn't reply to your claim. So, this is why my edit on the review is much later. Outstanding food and excellent service, will definitely go back again

First of all, everyone is very attentive, very thoughtful, the food is very delicious, especially my favorite, the toilets are very clean and beautiful, I am allergic to some foods and the waiter tried very hard for me and served me the best meal, thank you very much, I will definitely come again.🙏🙏

Good food served in beautiful surroundings. Would recommend trying the small plates, as there seems to be much more variety. The borek and aubergine crisps were delicious.

Nice ambiance. Welcomed by a friendly person at the counter. However, the experience with some food items and ordering was not very good. Has explained my request to the person taking the order that I need soft chips because of one of family member's health related issues. But the chips very hard and not eatable. Did pass on this feedback, but the person didn't sound very apologetic.

Ruya London is beautifully designed and surprises with a very cozy yet stylish atmosphere. The mocktails we drank are world class. The dishes were all cooked to perfection and flavored delicately. We truly enjoyed our dinner and the fantastic service. Big thank you for arranging a nice birthday treat at the end for my sister. Well done team Ruya! Non Veg foodies in London, go and try this exceptional restaurant you will love it! Don’t forget to pay a hefty bill. But it’s totally worth it.

IMHO, the best Turkish Restaurant in London

I would give this restaurant a 4 star review if it weren't for the food and pricing. Very recently I had gone out with a group of friends to eat at this restaurant, seeking out the prices being lower than expected of a restaurant of its apparent caliber located in Mayfair. Overall, we were greeted very well despite all being minors and treated like any other customer at the shop, the waiters seemingly interested in our groups comfort, and attentive. However, it would've been nice to have received a warning of the ridiculously priced bottle of water that was served to all of us in meagre amounts. Honourable mention to the toilets, clean and rather spacious with an above-good amount of privacy for the user, and the design work overall is rather pretty. Now on to the main part, the meal - definitely not proportional to the price of each of our meals. There was a lack-of in each of our meals which sort of turned down the experience for all of us, for one a supposedly meat-based meal was essentially a single shaving of the mince and the rest of the stuffing to be mint leaves. All in all, the restaurant is a good place for folks looking to spend, but would not recommend to those on a tighter budget as you will simply waste it.

very stylish venue however I ordered their "larger plates" section the service was terrible they don't even care and didn't even bring us water no starters low variety menu, when I left I had to go elsewhere to eat because I was still hungry. £90 for that I will never come again

One of worst test ever in London in spite of kindness of the staff

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, made my girlfriends birthday extra special. The ambience was perfect.

Everything was perfect. Except for one thing! That's the price of tea. What does it mean to write 4.5 pounds on your glass, friend? The food and presentations are great, it is worth the price, but is it worth paying 4.5 pounds for a normal slim glass of tea? Apart from that, we did not like the kunefe at all. The cheese in the middle was not melted and was very hard. As for the food, we ordered meat, pastry, stuffed meatballs, hummus and salad and it was delicious. The salad could have been a little bigger, the portion is too small on the table. The waiters were very attentive and fast.

Beautiful restaurant and superb service. The steak was excellent, best we've ever had! Soft delicious cooked perfectly and loads of flavour. The the icli kofte is just a kibbeh style thing which is good but not worth it. Pide is amazing if you like truffle which we do! The adana was poor unfortunately, undercooked and the fat wasn't rendered properly.

Truly the worst food I've ever eaten. It would be very disrespectful to Turkish cuisine if I call the food we ate Turkish food. As a group of friends, we ordered many different items from the menu and tried it all together. Unfortunately, apart from the quince ice cream, nothing we ordered tasted remotely good. The service was also terrible, one of the waiters even had an attitude and was very unhappy to be working. I got scared when ordering, that was the level of his attitude. The only positive thing about this place was their decoration and this goes to show that places like this only care about aesthetics to draw out people to come and make zero effort on their menu. Overall, the worst dining experience I had in London, I wish there were 0 stars to give.

Some of the waiter and waitress don’t understand what luxury service is . First thing the waiter came over the minute I sat down he recommended alcohol ……I understand they want to make money but I don’t event drink. I was the last one finishing eating my main dish and whilst I was finishing my plate the same waiter already came over to take my friend’s plates away and ask if they want desserts … I mean , read the room and your surroundings. I’m not even done and where you rushing to. Pure rudeness and disrespectful. Food was ok , not exceptional. Small portions and when you pay the price they are charging I except to get more than 2 bites . We wanted to order 2 chips and the waitress said one portion is enough for 2 ppl, I mean check the pictures yourself , this is 2 bites . Won’t go back again.

Today, I went to a Turkish restaurant called Rüya London with my friends. The place had an exceptionally high aesthetic appeal. Every dish was delicious, and the service was great. If you book on weekdays through Fork, you can get a 50% discount, which is quite a deal. ⭐️ I recommend these dishes: 🍄 Black Truffle Turkish Pizza with a Poached Egg Seriously, the combination of these ingredients makes it hard not to enjoy! 🐂 Beef Marrow with Chickpea Mash The chickpea mash was incredibly smooth, and the beef marrow added a rich, fatty flavour. 🍕 Lahmacun This is a thin and crispy Turkish lamb pizza. Whether you love lamb or pizza, this won't disappoint you. 🐚 Oysters The oysters were a bit small, but they tasted great with the tangy and sweet sauce they were served with. 🔥 Grilled Lamb Chops They were juicy, tender, full of charcoal flavour, and bursting with juices. Even the meat on the bones was flavorful. Desserts: 🧀 Their signature dish is a honey pastry that takes 20 minutes to make. Inside, there's stretchy cheese, and it's topped with pistachio ice cream. Although it's a bit sweet, it's really delicious. 🍨 The sesame ice cream is also quite tasty, just a tad sweet.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner experience at Rüya on a Wednesday night. Although the restaurant wasn't crowded, the atmosphere was inviting. The food was exceptional, and the staff exhibited remarkable friendliness. Our choices included the burnt carrots, courgette, halloumi salad, eggplant chips, the fish, and the poussin. Additionally, we ordered calamari, but upon realizing they were deep-fried — a detail we had misunderstood — the restaurant graciously removed them from our bill, which was a thoughtful gesture. For dessert, we indulged in the Künefe, which, while delicious, was a tad too sweet for my palate. Overall, the experience was splendid, and I would heartily recommend Rüya to anyone seeking authentic Turkish cuisine.

Lovely restaurant, good service but managed to forget one persons main course, they did take that off the bill mind. Lamb chops were juicy and perfectly fried triple cooked chips The beef is not halal, I really fancied the short ribs otherwise, so please take note as you would assume everything to be halal at a Turkish restaurant.

“Rüya” means dream in Turkish it was absolutely dreamy night for us!!! Thank you for the staff looking after us. They were so helpful and kind. We loved the experience.I am a sommelier student in London and I have chosen Rüya for food and wine pairing for the Turkish cuisine. They have got large number of wine selection from Turkey and all around the world. Their food menu is very authentic and they do special menus for special days as well!!! I have picked the Kayra Buzbağ Reserv from 2019 which is the blend of the most famous Turkish grape varieties Öküzgözü & Boğazkere and paired with my fav childhood dishes iclikofte & Adana kebab. Always go with local wine when you eat local food. I definitely recommend Turkish wines or Raki which is well known Turkish alcoholic drink as well. Oh yeah also make sure to end your meal with kunefe dessert and pistachio ice cream!!! Will be definitely back…

We visited Ruya on Valentine's night and had an amazing evening. It was a difficult choice (as you can see by the photos) but the star dish was the Raspberry Chocolate pudding.

I was in Ruya London with 3 friends from Italy and we all loved it all. Food is yummy and service is great too. Nico was great and very hospitable. I am Turkish and this is a good spot for upscale Turkish food

I was at Ruya just to try the famous kunefe, but it was a big disappointment, the kunefe was very sweet, I'm a fan of kunefe, but I would give this one a 5/10. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are super polite... I will come back for dinner or lunch I will definitely have a better experience.

I specifically came in for the Kunafe. They were nearing closing time and I didn’t have a reservation, but since I was only ordering the Kunafe, they seated me. The place was mostly empty with a nice design, though the music was nothing special. As Kunafe is made to order, it took 25 minutes to prepare, which was a bit longer than I expected. The presentation impressed me, but the taste fell short. The ice cream was too hard and there wasn’t enough cheese in the Kunafe, which was disappointing, especially considering the £16 price tag - the most I’ve ever paid for Kunafe. The Turkish coffee was decent, though. Considering both the price and the taste, I’d rate it 3/5.

A very beautiful restaurant, cozy, pleasant and polite staff. But the food leaves much to be desired. I went to brunch on Saturday and there was a limited menu. I took squid in batter - they were bad, shakshuka - it was simply disgusting, chicken kebab - it was not bad. Perhaps if you come on a regular day other than for brunch, it will be better, but I definitely don’t recommend brunch.

The pide, lamacun and bread are made in house and are the most delicious I’ve ever tried. The cocktails are creative and well balanced, combining flavours and design (you have to try the Costantinopole!) The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely a must try!

The atmosphere was great. But I have to say, if you want to leave with a full stomach, don't bother. The food wasn't great and the portion sizes did not make up for the taste either. The presentation was average. Not to mention the prices. The prices are outrageous for what you are getting. The only good part about this place was the ambience as mentioned.

We came last night and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere is lovely (especially now with a Xmas touch). The food was amazing, with a special mention for the 24-hour short ribs. We tried a few restaurants in the area and I would say that this one is so far our favorite! Es war unser erster Besuch bei Ruya und ich muss sagen, das wir es nicht bereut haben, dort gegessen zu haben. Wir hatten mehrere Vorspeisen (kalt und warm) wie die frittierten Auberginen, İçli Köfte, Pide mit Käse und Trüffeln, etc. Geschmacklich war alles eine 10/10. Jedes Gericht war eine Geschmacksexplosion im Gaumen. Hauptgang waren die Lamm Koteletten und die Short Ribs. Die Short Ribs waren sogar eine 11/10. Es eine Gourmetküche, das ist mal klar. Wer hier die typischen, großen Portionen erwartet, wird enttäuscht. Das sollte euch im Klaren sein. Ambiente ist super, die DJane war klasse und die Musik und der Service ist absolut in Ordnung. Manche Kellner sind einfach aufmerksamer als andere, das lässt sich nicht ändern. Unser Kellner war super. Im Großen und Ganzen kann man alles recht kurz zusammenfassen: super Location, deliziöses Essen, jederzeit wieder. Danke.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us. First, my wife walked in and asked for a table for two and the hostess said they’re fully booked, although the restaurant was half empty. I then looked on open table and saw every time slot was available so I booked it and walked in. The hostess was clearly frustrated by this. My wife then comes in with our baby who was asleep in the stroller and she was thrilled to tell us no children allowed after 6. There were multiple young children sitting in the restaurant and pointed it out to her and she hesitantly said no one under age 12. The children in there were maybe 5-years old. Do not come here if you’re American. They will deny you service. We will notify the Grosvenor House to never recommend again. Ratings: Food - N/A (didn’t get to experience; never will try again) Service - 0 stars (hostesses on 12/9 @7PM) Atmosphere - 3 stars (modern venue but at half capacity on a Saturday during the holidays)

Restaurant requires immediate attention from the owners. While the ambiance is great, and the restaurant situated in a very prime location, the stuff requires enhanced training consideration on the uniforms, communicating with the guests and table management. Food was average not so well, not the original Anatolian taste. It’s a one time experience.

Will not lie, the food was great and so is the atmosphere. Only thing that was dissappointing was the lack of professionality with the servers. We were a table of 7 and they were late with our orders, spilt water on the table, and worst of all the female server spilled the ice and water from the oyster tray all over me! As I complained to the server the response I received was solely that “it happens”. Honestly this has not happened anywhere in my life, even in less respective responses.

The floor manger was so rude he refused to seat us on the table the host direct us to. Also he talked to us with attitude and tone a very unpleasant experience. They ruined our day !

Me and my sister visited Rüya just for their Kunefe and we were not disappointed. It was worth it; we loved every bite of it! The Kunefe was sweet but not too sweet and the ice cream was delicious. We had the Kunefe with chai which was served with a biscuit. The chai and the biscuit tasted good. We were not aware that they closed by 3:30pm on Saturdays. We arrived there a few minutes after 3:00pm but they were kind enough to offer us a seat. Customer service was good. Our bill was £46 for anyone who might find the information useful. Thank you!
