Dined at Rustam Restaurant last night and had an exceptional experience! The dinner was impressive a real fine dining experience , with three starters that set the tone for the meal. The seekh kebab was juicy and flavorful, the fish pakoda was crispy and addictive, and the spicy baingan was a delightful surprise and also had paneer tikka which were outclass The mains were just as impressive - the naan and roti were soft and freshly baked, the biryani was aromatic and flavorful, and the chicken Karahi was spicy and rich. But the real showstoppers were the desserts! The rasmalai was creamy and comforting, the gajar ka halwa was rich and indulgent, and the kheer was a refreshing and sweet ending to the meal. Overall, highly recommend Rustam Restaurant in Edinburgh for its delicious food, generous portions, and warm hospitality! 5/5 stars"

Tables crammed together. Food too spicy, normally shashlik isn’t spicy. Poppadoms tasted stale and we were given dips that were already used. Staff did there utmost to give good service though and it was a rugby night.

I recently visited Rustom Restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the food. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The was absolutely delicious I highly recommend it! The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for I definitely be returning and bringing friends along. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal

Order was supposed to be 45 - 60 min. From ordering, it took 2 hours to get our food. I phoned the restaurant for an update, the food was prepared on time but there was no couriers available so poor service from Just Eat. Food was great.

Had my first date at Rustom in Edinburgh, and it was amazing! We started with tikka (super tasty) and golgappa (such a fun bite). The biryani was definitely the highlight—best I’ve had in ages! We finished off with some chai that was the perfect end to the meal. Big thanks to our server, Sunny, for making the night even better. Such a chill, kind soul! Can’t wait to go back! 🥰

Very delicious food. We are the regular customers here since 2 year. I would say the Veg biryani here is the best in Edinburgh. We even tried the other famous Indian\Pakistani restaurant but this is the most recommended restaurant in Edinburgh. Curry tastes same as India. Being pure veg we have many options as well.

The lamb chops, mutton sheekh and the lamb nehari were absolutely delicious and we will definitely be popping in again to try out other dishes.

Took our 9 and a half month weaning infant for her first curry and the staff couldn't be more accommodating! (Even when she made a mess). Food was fantastic, service was brilliant and prices are great, especially for Edinburgh centre. Would consider travelling from Leeds just for this restaurant! (We will definitely be back!)

Been dining at Rustom and getting takeaways from there on a regular basis for about three years now. The quality of the food, service and atmosphere is consistently very high. It really is the best curry in Edinburgh! Its central location, handily right next to Haymarket station, is also a factor. For anybody visiting the city or just looking for a new place to try, this is a great shout.

Additionally, the staff was very accommodating and helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommend for a truly tasty meal!
