My favourite Pizza place in Brighton and Hove

Took a punt at this place and so glad we did. Couldn't have wished for better. Food, service, atmosphere and prices were great. Look forward to visiting again when next in the area.

slightly out of town pizzeria, but they have a proper pizza oven which makes a hige difference!! The bases are beautifully crunchy on the outside and soft and warm in the middle. Best pizzas I have had in the UK. Atmosphere is slightly over branded, but it is easy to forgive that for the price and quality of the food.

Getting round to all of the Rustico restaurants and this one is very good! Friendly staff, lovely little place and really good pizza. Didn't need to wait long from sitting down to ordering and having our pizza served.

It's really lovely to eat in rather than order on deliveroo/uber. Food is fresh well prepared and delicious. GF pizza base wonderful light. Paramagarno amazing. Will definitely be eating in again.

Usually not one to complain but live locally and always enjoyed this pizza . However, ordered two pizzas and some chips , chips never arrived and pizza was inedible as well as all the toppings, cheese and sauce falling off when picked up. When calling the restaurant to inform them of the issues ( suspecting that something had gone off due to the jarring difference in quality from past orders ) but was told all they could do was suggest we order another pizza at full price alongside delivery cost. Will not be coming here again as am sorely disappointed with both food quality and customer service. Was a previous favourite so this is a real shame.

Was on a school trip on the seafront with my best friend. I remembered that the food was so good at rustico so we walked for 45min up the hill to rustico just to get a pizza in the middle of summer. It was worth it.

Was in the bar next door and felt peckish. Pooped in and ordered whatever was on the top of the pizza menu. Lovely crispy thin pizza. Exactly as it should be . Cheap too, decent size pizza was £10 or thereabouts.

Friendly service and great food as always! Kids also loved the pizza and pasta they had. We parked on the street just round the corner.

Tasty. It was really tasty. Came we come back soon for another one. Request from one diner for the return of a seafood pizza (the rest of us disagree!)

Always busy & great delivery & collection. Made in minutes. Staff are very friendly and pizzas are very tasty! Very messy though because sometimes the toppings slide off as you pick it up! Would benefit from a wider variety of starters (there's a lot of dough based ones) but the ones we've tried have all been delicious!

LADRI !!!!!! Never I will order from here!! Hello basically I did the order, they call me saying running out of something I ordered, and I ask for something 1.5 more expensive than what I ordered and they refused at the end I took something same price, Okey, until here fine, after 15 minutes they call me again they ran out of part of the dessert as well, and was 6.5 the dessert so I asked for another dessert which was 1.5 each so asked that dessert as Many times as the amount I paid for the one they runned out, and he said he can only offer to me 3 , and I said well 1.5 x 4 is 6 , he insisted no to me, when doesn't make sense at all as I paid more than what the want to give me, I hope to people to understand what kind of people works in there and run this place. The frustration is about time and comfort and they should offer, and obviously honestly as they didn't have with me, also is not my fault you don't have something you have in the app, so replace in a fair price at least but not!!! Very unfair place, never again!!

Maybe my bad impression is that Arriving we were greeted with a sound of displeasure, it is true that the restaurant was empty, but there were still 40 minutes left before closing. I think if they didn't want to serve us it was easy to apologize and say they were no longer taking orders in the kitchen, I'm always looking for Italian restaurants as my boyfriend is Italian and it's really not what we expected.

rustico used to be our favourite. The last couple of orders received we have had to phone direct. Both times took an hour over the estimated time and felt, had we have not chased, they would have been longer. Quality and taste gone downhill too. The ingredients are not so authentic or fresh. Considering the cost of a pizza is more than competitors we would expect more. We will no longer use sadly.

Good pizza, just stick to the menu as each additional topping is £1.50. Very nice service. Will go back.

Did not expect such excellent itallian food in the UK, I had a pizza and my wife had noodles and both we're absolutly delicous. You will have a hard time finding a better itallian restaurant.

The waiter was a delight! Unfortunately the coffee cup was not clean with distinct marks and leaks at usual points of contact. The salad was straight from the fridge with ice-cold tomatoes and one of the peppers was not fresh I suspect. I'm sorry to leave such a review.

This was our first visit. Really delicious pizzas and starters, service was very friendly from Harvey. Highly recommended and a good alternative to the other Neapolitan options in town.

I've been coming to the Rustico's at Fiveways for several years now and we were there again this evening (16/6/23) and the quality was as good as ever. Our waitress Rebecca was very good and helpful. Went on for Dinner last Sunday , and was welcomed by a lovely server called Daniella ! She sat me , gave me my menus , then after a couple of minutes I was ready to order , she returned, took my drink and food order.! The food arrived in good time and was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and the whole team were really professional! My server returned with my Dessert and coffee which with a grappa finished off the meal brilliantly! Well worth a visit and if you are lucky enough to be served by Daniella all the better !

Fantastic pizza and service! After initially placing my order for a collection, I headed to the Brighton branch at 5 ways to collect our pizzas only to be told that I’d placed the order in Hove🤦‍♂️ Harvey, Dani, Mo, Will and Josh didn’t hesitate to make our order again. Thank you once again👌

Why do I do this to myself. I usually end up in places where I ought to know better. You get what you pay for. Understaffed, overpriced, undercooked food...No wonder they have tables available when everyone else is booked.

Probably my favourite pizza in Brighton. We come here regularly. Quite quick if toy want a take out. Eating is in nice too but it can be very busy. Staff are very nice and friendly. Some tables outside available too.

Delicious food, best pizza we've had in a while. They did smaller portions for kids. I wanted less carbs after the indulgence of Christmas and they do a very nice pizza which is half the amount of dough with a side salad. Would definitely recommend

This place use to be great but it seems to have become a victim of it's own success. The last two times we've been the waits have been very long. Last time we waited 1 1/2 hours for our pizzas. Takeaways seem to take priority. If they can't look after the customers in the restaurant, they shouldn't really take so many takeaway orders. Also, if you order a starters, pizzas seem to go to the back of the queue so you'll be waiting much longer. Ask for starters to come with the mains. The food is very good though.

Food came late as noted and pizza and garlic bread were cold. Man on the phone noted that “we do have other people ordering”, to which we completely agree as they are a restaurant and so, if they want to be considered successful, would indeed have multiple orders coming in for which they need to provide for… that’s how a restaurant and takeaway business works. Only positive was that the meatballs and pasta was good.

One of the best Italians I’ve been too. I had the pizza with chips on it here once ( can’t remember the name ) and it was pucker. Not a bad meal here once in the several times I’ve visited. It seems really popular and if your lucky enough to get a table on the decking in the summer it’s great to watch the world go by

Very disappointing.... The portion size of lasagne was very small (not stated on menu) Rigatoni Puttanesca - rigatoni partially cooked. Giardino salad - dressing flavourless Altogether very uninspiring Won't be going back

Ate here for the first time on Sunday night, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the pizza was delicious, we will definitely eat here again.

Real deal local pizza joint - great for eat in or take out

Their Zucchini fries is very delicious but unfortunately it is taken out of the menu when I went there second time. Very Delicious pizza, pasta, Fritatina and croquette. Great customer service and atmosphere. I enjoyed my visit here twice. 10/10 for food and great service. Definitely a must place to visit.

The Rustico pizzas taste like authentic Italian pizzas, but the last time we visited Brighton a couple of weeks ago, we were disappointed to see that zucchini fritti had been removed from the menu. When we ordered them earlier in the year, they tasted delicious and were a reminder of wonderful Italian holidays. Please include zucchini fritti on your menu again!

Amazing!! Ordered a takeaway pizza and it has got to be one of the best if not the best pizza I've ever had. I had like a vegetable one and the onions and mushrooms tasted so so fresh and it was overall just delicious! Only thing I would say is whilst the crust is delicious and stable dough, the rest of the pizza is very thin which is fine but it makes it difficult to pick the slices up so I would recommend using knife and fork perhaps.

Food was amazing - pizzas particularly. I shoved more Nutella on the stracetti things but only because I’m greedy.

Had to ring the restaurant after waiting over an hour for food. When it did arrive finally the delivery driver was rude and demanded i go outside to collect from the street even after stating i paid for delivery to the door AND was isolating. He refused. The chips had sugar on them and the nutella strips were undercooked

This is a great pizza place. I have had take away many times and eaten in just the once but I have never been left dissapointed apart from when they removed the seafood arancini ball from the menu. The pizza's are delicious and the nutella and pizza dough is incredible and is worth coming to Rustico for by itself!

50p for ONE BASIL LEAF! Pizza was great but I was just grumpy eating it because of the lack of basil for 50p

First class. Best pizza have had in years... Better than Fatto a Mano; Pizza face; Franco Manca, the lot! Only VIP in central Brighton can compare... But none can on price, ambience and service. So reasonably priced, cannot recommend highly enough!
